I have always had a love of the saints, I have read a lot of books about the saints, this is a really good book about the saints. This book has information about 1oo saints, from known to lesser known. St. Agnes, St Brigid, to the newest St. Carlos. I really liked this book.

Thoroughly enjoyable read. The saints are very well researched. We get a brief introduction for each saint, followed by nice prayers. There are many famous well-known saints, both male and female, and some that I am now learning about. There are enough saints for every need, and you can slowly read throughout the year.

I've read various books this year that have taught me more about the history of the church and some traditional practises, and I found this little collection of Saints' prayers to be the perfect companion. Alongside some beautiful prayers for all kinds of situations, I loved the introductions to each saint that helped me (a non-catholic) understand the context of when and how each of these holy people lived and died.

Praying with the Saints an Inspired Collection of Holy Wisdom by Woodeene Koenig-Bricker is a meaningful collection of prayers from 100 different saints. Knowing there is a countless number of saints, I loved the inclusion criteria: she had to like the saint, and she had to like the prayer. I recognize that could present a limitation for me, the reader, as I may have a different opinion. In this case, I think she selected a beautiful collection. These are not biographies, these are prayers. Lots and lots of prayers. Some are short and some are long, but all are heartfelt reflections of the holy men and women who have gone before. I can read a biography about any one of these men and women and learn about their life and circumstances, but reading their prayers allows me to glimpse their heart. That is powerful. I love the variety and recommend this to those who appreciate gleaning insights on those who have shared their hearts with others.

From Saint Agnes of Rome, to Saint Faustina Kowalska, and to even Saint John Paul II, this saint book has it all!

With information on 100 saints, this “collection of holy wisdom” is very well put together. A biography is provided for each saint. It is obvious that a lot of research went into this endeavor, because their backgrounds are presented in a new and fresh manner. In addition to the biographies, prayers for each particular saint are also included.

Make a daily practice of discovering one saint a day, walking along the path of life with them. Not only will you gain additional knowledge of the saints with this commitment, but you will also strengthen your relationship with God. This saint book is well-written, and a must-read for all saint lovers.

I absolutely loved this book. keeping it as a go-to resource for my prayers, sharing its insights and prayers with my children as well. This book is a fundamental resource for anyone looking to lean on Catholic saints for their day to day life.

I read 365 days of saints by the same author, and it has been a resource of mine for almost two decades.

An informative look at several saints from various backgrounds and their various prayers. I really appreciated the effort to include female saints and saints from all sorts of backgrounds rather than just the very popular and well-known ones.

This is a wonderful collection of prayers to be prayed many times over. I like that she focused on the prayers rather than a long biography. She gave just enough information on the saints and focused on the prayers.
