I think this might be my favourite volume so far. And dare I say, this might be one of my favourite series of all time? The characterization and the storytelling are just insane. The story has some dips, yes, but it manages to be so emotional and action packed while refusing to get repetitive and it's forcing me to pay attention to characters regardless of which side of the overarching war they're on. I love it. Okay but about this volume specifically - I think Shiki might be one of the coolest main characters of all time. Truly the Aura Farming Final Boss. And I love everyone, but Tsukuyomi and Ousuke have a special place in my heart, and seeing them show up for the arc's final fight was EVERYTHING. I cried real legitimate tears. (Also - they did not die two volumes ago. Love that for me. Suicide postponed!)
