Arrogant, brooding, domineering, possessive, dangerously handsome, and a playboy. These are all of the characteristics on Rebecca Gellar’s Run-Like-Hell list for men, but she’s about to meet the man who’s the epitome of these and more…

After breaking off her engagement with Hollywood actor Miles Storm, Rebecca is ready for a change of scenery in her life and in her bed. So when the opportunity to work for StoneHaven Publishing, one of New York City’s most respectable publishing empires presents itself, Rebecca doesn’t hesitate moving to the Big Apple.

Convinced she can show the owner of StoneHaven Publishing that she has the "right stuff,” Rebecca agrees to a six month trial as the personal assistant to the owner’s playboy son, Nicholas StoneHaven. This is her big chance. If she can just get through these six months without strangling Nicholas with his Armani tie, she'll be okay – easier said than done. Nicholas is the last person Rebecca thought she’d find herself pining for, especially when he hits every category under her list.

Get ready for a battle of the sexes…

Bound to You 1: Wow, what a great opening scene … totally pulled me in and I immediately fell in love with Rebecca! Rebecca defends her honor when she catches her fiancé in bed with her best friend. From here we get to jump into her journey to take control of her life as she heads to New York in pursuit of her dream to work for StoneHaven publishing. On her flight she meets Nicholas, sexy first class passenger, and is immediately drawn to him. Who knew she would bump into him again at a night club only to find out his true spots when Allison arrives. Of course, her biggest shock is getting hired as his personal assistant by his father the following Monday. All I can say is Vanessa Booke has hooked me and I love Rebecca … she starts out swinging and ends with a great knee maneuver, Nicholas never saw it coming!

Bound to You 2: Nicholas has a problem, he is attracted to his new assistant but doesn't want to be. Rebecca just wants to survive 6 months working for Nicholas so she can move to another department at StoneHaven publishing. Of course, whenever they are in a room together, sparks fly, tempers flare and well … funny things just tend to happen. Rebecca ends up as Nicholas' date to a fund raiser which leads to a stellar moment on the balcony and Rebecca having to rescue a very drunk Nicholas to avoid the press. The chemistry and sizzle between Rebecca and Nicholas just grabs you and won't let go. I love how Rebecca doesn't back down, she is feisty, strong and pushes all of Nicholas' buttons. Of course, there is the issue of his engagement and then the ever popular cliffhanger with someone from Rebecca's past.

Bound to You 3: YES! What a fabulous conclusion to Rebecca and Nicholas' story. Of course, nothing is ever easy and Rebecca has to face her ex-fiance along with coping with Nicholas "technically" being engaged – really hate Allison. Nicholas knows what he wants be has a real problem communicating that to the right people. I love Rebecca's strength as she focuses on doing her job while keeping her distance from Nicholas because of Allison. Of course, Nicholas's Dad doesn't help the situation since he gives an ultimatum … AUGH! Oh, will these two figure it out? Will Nicholas defy family for his happiness? It's a fun ride that we get to take as the sparks continue to fly between Rebecca and Nicholas. Thank you Vanessa Booke for giving us such incredible characters to laugh, cry and swoon with.

I received an ARC from the author for an honest review.

This was my first Vanessa Brooke read and I loved it! There were so many great things about this bind up and I was really happy when I was finished. The synopsis doesn’t give you much in terms of the story. It seems to be pretty vague compared to were the story went. Either way I absolutely loved the characters and the romance in this book.

Millionaire’s Row #1:

I loved the opening scene in this book. Rebecca finds her fiancé cheating on her and you know what she does? She bunches the girl right in the face. I feel like everything that Rebecca goes through in terms of her emotions was spot on. It wasn’t like she just got over him in a few weeks. She had to work through that and learn to live without someone she truly loved. I was really proud she never caved when he came back. She was a strong and feisty character that I really liked.

Nicholas was a great character. While he was liked his women I don’t think that he was a horrible person. There was a lot more to his character then I thought. He is under a lot of pressure from his family and his past to do whatever he can to keep the company running. Overall there was just more to his character then I expected.

I loved the tension. Nothing really happened between them sexually other than a kiss but the buildup might have been even better. The writing was done so well. I mean it has to be if, as reader, I was content without any sex scenes. There was buildup, tension, and so much steaminess without them ever really touching each other. Can’t wait for the next book!

Millionaire’s Row #2:

This story keeps getting better as we go. I love that there is so much tension between the characters but they are also on the lines of hating each other or loving each other. They push each other’s buttons like no one else and make them want things they never thought possible. The prologue was great. It gave us some background on Nicholas that I feel was needed. We could understand why he was willing to give everything up for the company without it.

This is the book where they really start to give in. Rebecca is convinced that Nicholas will never do anything about Alison and Nicholas doesn’t know what to do about any of it. Rebecca knows that she could fall for him but there is a risk in that and she doesn’t know if she should take that risk. Nicholas has always been the love ‘em and leave ‘em type and now that there is a woman he can’t get enough of, it scares him. He wants her but wanting her is going to make his whole life one big clusterfuck. Nicholas and Rebecca finally take it to the next level but with that comes problems, drama, and even worse…major feelings. This was a great installment in a great series.

Millionaire’s Row #3:

When the last installment ended I was really worried. I was worried that Rebecca was going to fall back into her old life and let Miles win. I would have been so disappointed and there were a few times she seemed to have lost the strength she built but there was nothing to worry about. Rebecca was and still is a strong character. She stands up to Miles and even puts Nicholas in his place a few times.

Nicholas has fallen and fallen hard. He has come to terms with his feelings and just how deep they go for Rebecca. He can’t give her up. Now Nicholas has to figure out how to fix the mess falling in love with the wrong women made of his life. Nicholas is sweet and loving as well as dominant and possessive. There is nothing but Rebecca standing in his way to make her his.

There were so many communication problems in this installment. Neither Nicholas nor Rebecca would come right out and say what they wanted. They wouldn’t share their feelings. Even when Nicholas was doing everything he could to convince Rebecca he loved her, he never came out and said all of their problems were gone. Rebecca was so quick to let him go that they never really talked about anything. It was completely frustrating. I thought this was an excellent way to end their love story. My only problem is the epilogue did nothing for me. We might as well not have had one. It didn’t answer any of the questions left over. Like what happened with Nicholas’s dad? What happened to the company? What is Rebecca going to do now? There are so many questions that were left unanswered that I felt like we were left hanging. I’m not saying there needed to be another installment but there could have been one. I would have rather read that then been left without answers.

I really liked this series and I can’t wait to read the coming ones of Nicholas’s sister and his best friend. The teaser left me saying WTF?!?! I NEED THIS BOOK NOW. I will definitely be reading more from this author.

I received a reviewer’s copy of this book from Indie Sage PR in exchange for an honest review and as part of the book’s blog tour promotions.
I went into this book with no expectations whatsoever because I have never read anything from Vanessa Booke before. Fortunately for me, it was such a good and enjoyable book that it was worth all my time spent. The premise of a billionaire playboy falling in love with an ordinary girl has been used and abused so many times. However, you’ll have to leave a space for this book as well. Its theme may be too common these days, but the entire story of Rebecca and Nicholas is both hot and sweet, you really have to read it and enjoy.
The only thing that I found difficult to believe was was happened when the hero and heroine first met each other on the plane going to New York. I mean, I’m sure it was just to emphasize how connected they are to each other. However, the events on that scene were a little too unbelievable for me.

I also wish that it did not end abruptly. Don’t get me wrong. I like the last few scenes in the book. I just wish there were a few more scenes after that. I wanted to know what happens next to Rebecca and Nicholas.

This book also has a few teasers regarding Nick’s sister and his best friend. Their story will be told in the next two books of the author’s Millionaire’s Row series. I am looking forward to the next several books that are lined up because I find that I’m already hooked to the characters that Miss Booke introuced me to.

Bound To You is a book that even if the plot has been reused and recycled many times, it will still sound refreshing and will leave you feeling like you’ve just read your favorite fairy tale.

First off thank you for the Dedication, as I am one of those curvy girls who absolutely Love your books! I absolutely enjoyed everything about this story. I really like the fact that there is a strong, beautiful, curvy, and imperfect woman in a sexy, rich, and handsome man's interest. There is absolutely no way to read this story and not fall in love with Nicholas and Rebecca. I love the flow of the book, the way it tells both Rebecca's and Nicholas' story, keeps you wanting to just read it all in one take. Once all three books were put together, there was no way I could stop without devouring it all!
Nicholas Stonehaven completely made me drool, and though his dark and sad side is kept well guarded, the love of a certain curvy redhead is not only enough to melt away the sorrow and loneliness, but also enough to deliver a shock through his heart to make it beat once again. There was absolutely nothing lacking to this story, it even has a gorgeous breathtaking brother in the mix! Beautifully written, and absolutely moving. 5 strs are definitely not enough!! We'll be waiting for more of this great author and her amazing stories. ☆☆☆☆☆

This book had me from the beginning. I love how Rebecca is a strong woman with curves. Vanessa did a great job making me feel like I was Rebecca throughout the series. Her heart was broke by her fiance so she moved to new York with her best friend for her dream job. She wasn't expecting to find the man of her dreams here either, especially just coming out of a relationship.
I love how the panty melting playboy has fallen for a curvy woman with attitude. He can't stop thinking about her. Thank goodness he's not too stubborn to realize he's in love with her before it's too late.
Towards the end in book 3, I was in tears right along with Rebecca. You can feel all of the emotions from every character in this book.
Great job Vanessa, looking forward to reading more of your work, going to see what I can one-click right now.

I got this book set from the author. I really enjoyed reading these. I found it lightly humorous and romantic. l love the chase when it comes to love stories! The characters where likable and so entertaining to get to know. The whole story was great and not too predictable. I loved the back stories to the main Characters , especially Nick and his Dad's interactions. . That was a great story and I look forward to reading more from this author.

Fantastic story!! Loved it!! I really couldn't put this book down. I instantly connected with the characters, I was drawn into the book. The main female character being a curvy red head might be what made me connect with her but it made me feel like i was Rebecca! Fabulous and a must read!

Previously published as a three part volumes now you get this story in one steamy whole book ! How do I describe Bound To You ? Absolutely and utterly Fanfreakintastic .... How do I describe Nicholas StoneHaven absolutely and utterly every women Wet fantasy ... With looks that makes every woman melt in a puddle of lust , a personality that makes you wanna please him in every way .... Is no wonder Rebecca has a hard time saying no to him .... But no she most say , because even if they both feel the undeniable current of lust , He is forbidden .
After getting her heart broken by her cheating ex fiancé Rebecca Gellar leaves her hometown in Los Angeles flying to New York for a Job interview at the very famous and prestigious StoneHaven Publishing . Never mind that she is deadly afraid of flying and just her luck the airplane is going thru a bad storm , her purse goes flying directly in to first class and lands by the most handsome man she has ever seen ... And with the airplane shaking thru the turbulence she ends up landing on his lap, and that is how their first encounter and kiss happen . I'm just going to tell you that each encounter gets steamier, hotter, it will leave you panting .
Bound to You is well written ,hot ,romantic it makes your heart sings , I love how the Author lets us read the book from Nicholas and Rebecca's point of view it makes it complete balance knowing what each of them is feeling . I am glad to have been giving the privilege to read the ARC of this book , I devoured it in one seating . In volume two Rebecca Gellar is starting her first day as Nicholas StoneHaven assistant , she has not see him since she knee him in the family jewels and left him howling in pain in the elevator. Their first encounter leaves her melting . “Ms. Gellar, welcome to StoneHaven Publishing.” My eyes follow his mouth as he pronounces each syllable with a mixture of elegance and authority. I hug my dress coat tightly against the crook of my elbow as his voice sends bumps down my skin. Here he is, in the flesh. The dangerously handsome and enigmatic Nicholas StoneHaven. It doesn’t seem like it’s been that long, but somehow he looks different. His blond mane is slightly shorter and tousled as if he woke up with gorgeous bed hair. I bite my lip as I try my hardest not to moan at the sight of him in his tailored dark blue suit. I blush as my eyes unconsciously drift down to his crotch. His suit is perfectly fitted in more than just one area. “Gellar, my eyes are up here,”
For Nicholas it's just as hard , having her so close is driving him crazy and giving him a case of blue balls .... This won't do ..so he decides to make her job difficult and make her quit but he doesn't take in count Rebecca's stubbornness and she knows that in order to succeed in StoneHaven Publishing first she has to proven her self as his assistant .
The lust and wanting is killing them both , but with Nicholas wedding around the corner, can Nicholas convince his father that marriage to Alison is just wrong ? Nicholas best friend Tristan sees what is between them and sets up a plan to make him accept that Nicholas and Rebecca are meant for each other.
Add a gala where Nicholas is force to remember his past , his demons the guilt that hunts him , with way to much to drink , a hot encounter with Rebecca and a jealous Fiancée , he is going out of his mind ! Oohhhh and guess who is coming back to claim Rebecca again ??? This book is full of steamy encounters , drama , jealousy , I couldn't put it down stayed up all night and got a book hungover , that's how great this book truly is . I won't give away part three but let me tell you it is freaking amazing .. Seriously you have to read it . Vanessa Booke my hat of to you !

Right this is three novels now in the one book and so I am going to whizz through them as they would have been individually and hopefully you will see not only the sense it make shaving them all together but also the fact that it is really a great story.
So first up we have Rebecca, have to say right off the bat that I liked Rebecca, she said what she had to and stood up for not only what she believed but also herself – when she caught her good for nothing fiancé cheating on her – she packed her bag sand left – New York here she comes! Nothing ever goes that smoothly and when she meets the enigmatic Nicholas on her flight she is not only game but ever so slightly attracted to this sexy man. New York brings its own set of trial’s, first it is the fact that in a city of millions she just happens to bump into Nicholas again while she is out clubbing but he hardly endears himself to her and things go from bad to downright bottoms up when she is hired by Nicholas’s father to work with him as his PA – life just got a tad on the fucked up side and neither Rebecca or Nicholas have any idea of the ride they have just embarked upon – well Rebecca may have but by the expression on Nicholas’s face by the time she has finished with him, he is wishing he had someplace else to be!
The story then moves to Nicholas, he is captivated by Rebecca even though he know that he shouldn’t. Rebecca isn’t his not even professionally, he is merely a means to an end or so he thinks – she wants to move up in her career and finishing an assignment with Nicholas will mean that she can move to one of the other more prestigious departments – if she is lucky. But despite her reservations and protestations – she can feel the chemistry between the two of them and while saving his bacon on more than one occasion may just be part of the job, the physical intensity between the two of them is difficult even for her to deny. But She isn’t going there, she can’t be the one to come between him and his fiancée after all it happened to her and she couldn’t do that to someone else and anyway it isn’t just that, that has her thinking about the past, hers has rocked up and put a spanner in the works!
Finally we moved to a conclusion, a remedy to the situation with both Nicholas and Rebecca. While Rebecca has enough on her plate with her ex and all his issues – really the man is a complete arse. She is also having to get her head around the whole situation with Nicholas and Allison – well I say get his head around it – honestly if I was her I would just knock her on her arse and be done with it – she was a monster of a woman and Nicholas deserved better!! While Rebecca does everything she can to do the right thing, Nicholas eventually grows a pair and decides to take the bull by the horns and do something about the situation but when his father issues him an ultimatum I honestly thought I had, had enough – Jesus what else could folk throw at them?
I had my fingers crossed that Nicholas would just tell his Dad and the rest of his family to get off his back and that he was going to do what he wanted and sod the lot of them and I hoped that Rebecca would be standing beside him when he did but did I get my wish well you will have to read the book to find that out but what I will say is that nothing worth having comes easy – So are this pair worthy of each other????

4.5 run-like-hell STARS!!!

I'm not a huge fan of serials for two main reasons. One - they are generally so short, it's just a taste. A tease, really. And, two - I usually love it and have to wait... I'm very impatient. But this box set allowed me to read them all consecutively - like a full novel. And I loved it!!! The characters, the story line, the development of both. A definite recommendation!! This review will consist my feeling and thoughts of the set as a whole. Don't worry, there are no spoilers here.

First we have Rebecca. She was a woman scorned and off to follow her dreams of living and working in NYC. While in the plane from L.A., she found herself falling into the lap of a delicious man while chasing her purse into first class. That was the thing about reading Rebecca's character. She was intelligent, determined, snarky, witty, and at times - funny. She described herself as shy and curvy. I loved her from the second she found her actor boyfriend cheating on her - in their bed. Now, She couldn't stop thinking about her encounter with the yummy plane-man. When she went to her interview one in NYC and found that she was now the assistant to the man from the plane - things get amazing!!

"The Run-Like-Hell List: I, Rebecca Gellar, view that under no circumstances will I fuck sleep with any man especially Nicholas who falls under these:
Arrogant.
Dangerously handsome.
Brooding.
Domineering.
Possessive.
Play-boy.

Nicholas was the epitome of everything on Rebecca's list. One of the things I adored about the writing and this author, was her use of dual POV. Mostly in Rebecca's voice but there are some great moments peppered in when I got the true sense of who Nicholas was. And every dangerously handsome, arrogant, brooding, domineering, possessive, play-boy has a reason to the madness. He definitely did. And his story was hauntingly poetic. Even, Rebecca would catch a glimpse of a different side to him.

"... but for the first time, I experienced a side of him I hadn't imagined existed. He was vulnerable."

Things between them become hot, intense, and all-consuming for both of them. But … there are many things that are in the way. Ooh I want to tell you! Just know that this book/serial is unputdownable! I cautiously ate up every word, loving it. As I sat thinking back, when it was over, well - it was even better!! A must read for any fans of sexy reads with twists!!

Hmmmmm I truly can't go lower than 4 stars for Bound to You Boxed set because it really did tick a few areas that give me a good to great read. I am slightly gutted I don't feel the push to go all five starry and I'm not actually sure why as this was an enjoyable way to spend a few hours with a very visual read full of 3D characters.

But.... (hahaha) there is a but... As much as I enjoyed it there were some weeny weeny niggles. Dear God I wanted to kick them both up the arse! Talk about mooch on about stuff that may never happen or go over the 'other' characters thoughts and personalities (that's the characters not the author!), that winds me up a little bit when characters procrastinate but (yes another but) it deffo wasn't enough to stop my enjoyment. I agree with the honourable co-reviewer, there was no waffle of insipid things per se, but just that wee bit of what I mentioned.

I liked Nicholas but jeez man for a dominant character you are a bit whipped about the coattails of your father! I get it though, it's re Alex and the family commitment they need since Alex. Becca was an easy character to like though I wished she had nutted Miles a few scenes sooner! Which reminds me of a scene that had me laughing out loud. Not saying but boy it was funny. ☺ I loved Alison, I wished she has starred a bit more in this, her character was the needed ooooh I want to strangle her character, I just wanted to feel the need to throat punch her too ☺ What's going on between Tristan and Emily eh? And that opening night and his paintings? Ye gads I want to know more of this chap - I bet he's wicked between the sheets, on top, outside and even upside down! Hope Tristan gets his own book! (Beggin' here - big wink.)

So to sum up Bound to You this isn't something that hasn't already been done before, scorned girl gets new job, boss is the man she's had a little action with or wants to have a little action with, but Vanessa has brought in her own words this story to the table and in all honesty a read I really did enjoy and would probably re-visit again but sure-fire would want to find out about the 'other' characters.

I received a copy of Bound to You in return for an honest review, my reviews are my own and are 100% honest.

I must admit to having book 1 on my kindle, unread, for ages because I wanted to wait until all the parts are out before I got involved with this story.

Anyway, this is the box set of all 3 parts and is about the length of a novel, so I’m glad I waited. I think it would have driven me mad waiting for each part!

I instantly liked Nicholas. He was your typical arrogant, man-whory playboy who seemed to care only about where he was getting his balls emptied next. But once I got to know him, I realised he was actually very passionate about the business even though he was a bit lackadaisical about turning up on time for meetings etc. His father is trying to keep the company afloat by merging with another company and it seems that Nicholas marrying the daughter of that company is part of the deal! Nicholas is not the marrying kind, never had been and he certainly didn’t want to marry Allison!

Rebecca was quite a strong character. She thumped a girl in the face when she found her in bed with her fiancé, then walked away from him to start a new life in a new city. She wanted this new start and she was determined that nothing was going to get in her way of succeeding in her new job….nothing, including the amorous advances of Nicholas!

I enjoyed watching Nicholas toying with her, playing with her. I enjoyed watching Rebecca trying to convince herself that he would be very, very bad for her as he epitomised everything in a man she vowed to stay away from.

Ms Booke has produced a very readable book. I like the cover, it’s simple and understated and looks classy. I enjoyed the voice she gave each character and I could picture them quite clearly in my head. She got straight to the point with things and didn’t waffle on and on describing inane things so every word was needed to progress the story. I thought the story flowed nicely through this set and it read like a complete novel.

This is the first thing I’ve read by Ms Booke and I hope to read much more from her in the future. However, I will always wait until all the parts of her next serial are out, if not combined in one book, before I start to read them.

LOVED IT LOVED IT LOVED IT !!

I admit I had the first two books on my kindle and not a chance to read them so when I saw the tour I had to jump on it so I could make the time and finally dive in !! I was in love with Rebecca right away , YAY for CURVY girls !! I felt her pain and despair when her man tried to pull one on her and I was so thankful she was strong enough to ditch Miles and go for her dreams and start over in NY. Of course I knew she was going to have a run in with a super hot wealthy guy , I mean this is NY and she is suffering from a broken heart !! Not only does she have this run in right away on the plane , this guy ends up being none other than the man she will be working for !! It is ironic and funny and yes something I totally daydream about !! LOL

Immediately Nicholas is smitten , he wants this fiery redhead from the plane under him and out of his system. That is who he is , no attachments just fun. Of course his father has other plans and has been planning a marriage of benefit for the company. Nicholas wants no part of this and of course once Rebecca hears of it she tries her best to stay away. Throughout the story they are forced into situations alone and together that in the end force their hands and honest feelings out. They are HOT AS SIN together and I was drooling A LOT !! I love Nicholas , he is all alpha male and bad A$$ but he is not the typical jerk that screws everyone and expects Rebecca to wait for him. He does struggle with his engagement and how to get out of it. He wants to admit his feelings but fears rejection. I love his POV and although he does do a few dumb things he really is AWESOME !! I loved how it played out , loved the ending and look so forward to reading more by this author !! That little sneak peek at the end , HOT WOW !!

*This Review is for the entire novel (all 3 volumes) and will be posted with the novel as well as the individual volumes*

This book was sexy, funny, feisty, and has plenty of drama. I devoured this book in just a couple of hours. I really enjoyed the characters (both the main ones and the support ones). I found myself thinking about it afterwards. I think that is a mark of a great book. I was thinking about how great it would be to have a volume 4 to read about what would happen next. So when I logged into Goodreads in preparation to do this post I let out a little squeak of excitement when I saw that yes indeed there would be a volume 4!

Nicholas is a playboy who has been thrust into responsibility in the family publishing business and an unwanted engagement with a woman he can’t stand (all by his father). Rebecca is getting away from a cheating ex-fiancé and trying to pursue her dream career in book publicity. They actually meet twice, by chance, before they figure out they are going to be working together. Rebecca is driven, sweet, and determined to make a career for herself and not get involved with Nicholas. Nicholas is sexy, a total alpha male, and determined to make Rebecca his. I loved both of these characters. They had a lot of development and personal growth over the course of the story.

I loved the story line in this one. The drama kept me on my toes and the passion between Rebecca and Nicholas had me in search of a good fan. The characters had great chemistry with not only each other, but also their friends. This was a fantastic book and I can’t wait to read that volume 4 to get that little bit of extra I’m dying for and also to read Tristan’s story. 5 out of 5 stars!

Once bitten twice shy, that is the lesson that Rebecca Gellar has learned.
Finally, all three books have been combined together as one. No stopping the story and having to wait to see what will happen next. Bound to You was provided to me in exchange for an honest review.
After having read the books in each installment, I have to admit that combining them together is a stroke of genius on Ms. Brooke’s part. The three volumes are meant to be together like chocolate and peanut butter, they just go together so well. Rebecca and Nicholas’s story is one that keeps you reading making you put all other things off while you race to devour the story. Rebecca is so relatable, she has the scumbag of a cheating fiancée that seems to have conveniently forgotten that he is the reason she left him. While being drawn to the sexy, brooding, engaged to another woman Nicholas Stonehaven. Nicholas has his own issues to deal with. His father pushed his engagement on him, and now he is engaged to a woman he doesn't want while the woman of his dreams is right in front of him. But in order to have her he faces having to give everything up. He has to decide if love is worth losing everything or if being miserable is worth keeping everything.
Ms. Brooke has written this book so that it is fast paced and hard to put down. While you are left turning the page wonder if Nicholas will give in to his feelings and if Rebecca can trust what she feels and take a chance on another heartbreak coming her way. I strongly recommend this book to any and everyone. It is worth the read, the reread and even the reread after that.

5 Stars!

Oh how I loved this book! This is a new author for me and definitely won't be my last book by her. This book was sweet, sexy, naughty, delicious, and totally sinful. I got sucked into this book from page one and devoured it in one sitting. Get ready for a crazy, sexy ride with a few twists and turns along the way.

This is Rebecca and Nicholas's story. After a nasty break up with her ex, Rebecca is looking for change. She finds that in a new job and life. What she doesn't expect is the domineering, aggravating but oh so delicious Nicholas. She is to be his personal assistant for six months. If she doesn't strangle him or poison him along the way, that will be a good thing. Nicholas is everything Rebecca doesn't want in a man. Living a lie and forced into what he doesn't want, Nicholas is determined to get Rebecca under him permanently. And the crazy banter they have? It is just foreplay for him. Rebecca shouldn't want him so why does she crave him like he is the last piece of cheesecake on earth? Get ready for a fun, sexy, sizzling ride as these two find out that love is not always easy and definitely not predicable.

Rebecca and Nicholas were too funny. The banter between them was nothing but foreplay for these two. They ran so hot and cold with each other at times but honestly it made their times in between the sheets that much hotter and wilder. I loved Rebecca. Her sass and feistiness was a force to be reckoned with. I was rooting for these two the whole way.

I highly recommend this book!

I enjoyed this book and will be keeping this author on my radar for sure. Her writing style was appealing to me.

I thought that the dialog, heated scenes (WOW steamy), and feisty humor sprinkled throughout were written very well. The character development was very good for both the main characters as well as the supporting ones. I would have loved to have had more as it related to the budding relationship. It was clear what the initial attraction was and that never ceased but not nearly as clear when it came to understanding the thing or things that made the relationship more than that initial attraction. For me that was missing and dammit I still want to know.

There were elements of the story that rubbed me the wrong way. Perhaps the author’s intent was angst but the result for me was that it tarnished the likability of the characters. Let me just say that the hypocrisy on the heroine’s part didn’t leave me warm and fuzzy. But it didn’t stop me from continuing. There was always that need to know how things were going to turn out and I was pleased with the outcome.

Part one of the book was pretty flawless. Parts two and three had some moments where the flow was interrupted due to some common pesky errors.

All in all a good read that will keep your attention throughout and leave yourself wanting to read more from the author.

I received a generous complementary copy of this book in return for an honest review.

VOL 1- This book had my attention right from the beginning. Rebecca Gellar moves to NY for a new job. She happens to meet Nicholas StoneHaven. They make an immediate connection, but with her past she doesn't trust him. He is use to being a playboy, but now all he can think of is her. They are thrown together and it's just hot. The story is told from both the main characters point of view. I love being able to see what the character is thinking and feeling. I can't wait for Vol. 2 and find out what Nicholas is going to do to break through Rebecca's walls.

VOL 2- I am just loving this series. Nicholas is so all consuming. I just loved this character. He has to do what's expected of him, but he just can't help himself. Rebecca is having a hard time keeping Nicholas at arms length. I for one think she's crazy for trying!! She gets an unexpected surprise at the end and it could change everything for her. I can't wait to read the 3rd book!!

VOL 3
This was my favorite volume of the series! I got to know Nicolas so much more than the previous books. I got a much better sense of who and why Nicolas reacted the way he did. I just love this couple and honestly didn't expect that ending! It was great and can't wait to read more from Booke.

This was my first read of Vanessa Brooke and man am I glad I didn't have to wait for all the parts to come out.

Rebecca is every woman, she's curvy and spunky and everything we want to be in our heads. It was amazing to read her character and watch her grow. From the time we are introduced to her and she is punching someone who deserves it to the very end where I held my breath to see how it was going to end I loved her, I wanted to be her.
Nicholas is everything she is supposed to stay away from, he's everything on her list of don'ts in a man.
"The Run-Like-Hell List: I, Rebecca Gellar, vow that under no circumstances will I fuck sleep with any man especially Nicholas who falls under these:
1. Arrogant.
2. Dangerously handsome.
3. Brooding.
4. Domineering.
5. Possessive.
6. Playboy."

Nick is everything she wants and everything she can't have, from their chance meetings to her new job as the assistant of the owners son she has no room for wanting him. But like a moth to a flame she can't help it.

This story had me not wanting to put it down, I read the set in a day and was left still wanting to know more about them!
Go get this series you'll love it!

Good series

I was shocked that I really liked this series. I was glad that I got it in a box set. There was a good balance of drama and romance. At points I even wanted to yell at the characters.
Overview. Rebecca just finds her fiance in bed with his co star. So she decides to leave LA and go stay with a friend in New York. On the plane ride she accidentally meets Nick. She doesn't know who he is but her body is buzzing. Nick comes back from meeting in LA to find that his dad has arranged for him to marry Alison one of the companies biggest clients daughter. He hates her. At a grand opening of a bar, he meets his best friend Tristan and his PR person. Rebecca and Carol meet Tristan and soon Nick and Rebecca are face to face again. Than she finds out that Nick is engaged and she assumes he is like her ex. When she shows up to meet her new employees, she is shocked to see that she will be Nicks new assistant. They are drawn to each other non stop. Both pushing each other away and trying to fight the attraction. But soon they can't fight it any long. Several problem arise and test if they can make it work. This review is for the audio version of the book.

Nicholas and Rebecca meet on a cross country flight and there is instant chemistry. Rebecca is moving to New York to escape an embarrassing public break up and to start a new career. Nicholas is the son of a powerful businessman and returns home to New York to find that his father has arranged an engagement between Nicholas and the daughter of an important investor.

They end up in an awkward position because Rebecca’s new job is working as Nicholas’ assistant, and Nicholas tries to fight his attraction to Rebecca while trying to appease his father. I enjoyed the constant pushing and pulling each other closer and then away again. It was an entertaining story told from dual POV’s.

This was my first time listening to a book narrated by Gary Furlong but I don’t think it’ll be my last. His voice is sexy and he does a hot alpha male. He also manages a decent feminine voice so he handles the dual POV’s well. His performance was an easy 4 stars, maybe even 4.5.

I received this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

I was honored to receive this series of books in exchange of an honest review. I enjoyed reading this series very much. It is a very romantic story and the story-line is strong and it flows well. It is your classic story of a woman who has had her heart broken then falls in love with who she thinks is once again the wrong man. The characters are very well told and were very easy to relate to. I felt like I knew the H and h very well by the time I was through the first book. Even the secondary characters in the book, I felt were very easy to relate to. I feel there was just the right amount of romance, sex, and intrigue in the story to carry the readers through all three books. I love that the h was an every day average woman. She was not a size 0 with fake boobs and a fake tan. She was an average sized curvy girl that loved passionately and fully. Great story and great job writing it Ms. Booke. I look forward to the next "chapter" of this story with Emily and Tristan!

These 3 volumes will leave you breathless first with laughter then with with the amount of heat between these two. I loved the play and dialogue between them throughout these volumes and was so glad to have them all together in one place. This is a set I will be reading again it was so enjoyable. Great writing and story line that kept me entertained. Nicholas is every woman's wet dream and Rebecca is a strong woman that I would love to be one day! This was my first time reading this author and now I will have to see what else she has going. I loved her style and wit. Romances don't always have to be drama and suspense (not that I turn my nose up at those), I love to laugh like I did in this one. Well done.

I really liked these books. I love the tension between Nicholas and Rebecca. Nicholas is everything Rebecca is trying to avoid but she can't deny the strong pull that she feels when he's near. Rebecca is trying to start over and moving cross country to avoid her ex fiance. She gets her dream job and is excited but doesn't realize the dreamy blue eyed man she met on the plane is also her new boss. Nicholas is drawn to her from the minute they meet. He soon finds out that he can't do anything due to his dad. He is forced into an engagement but soon realizes he has feelings for Rebecca. Every time they get together is explosive and Rebecca soon finds herself falling for him. I love Emily, Tristan and Rebecca's friend but I would really love more from Nicholas and Rebecca cause I feel like there's more to their story than what we got. I'd love to know more.

~~I received this in exchange for my honest opinion~~

This book (box set) is amazing. I couldn't get enough of this series. Once I started reading this, I couldn't stop reading it!! It only left me wanting more!! The chemistry between Becca and Nick is like no other. Once they see one another for the first time, they can't seem to stop thinking about each other. Once they have each other, can they stay away from one another?

The is the first series that I have read by Vanessa. I can guarantee that I will read more by her. She writes stories that leave you wanting more. The characters are really developed and come off as how Vanessa wants them too. You love Becca and have a love/hate feeling for Nicholas. If you haven't read anything by Vanessa, then you are really missing out! I need to read more by her!!
