If you think Priest is bad, you are in for a rude awakening with this book.
This book would make a lot of people mad and I'm here for it. A priest goes to a exorcism and ends up sleeping with the demon? Yeah it's that book. But man it was everything.
I was hooked on this book from page 1. Father aka Levi believed God was there for him and always protecting him. I love how Killian opened his eyes, even if it took him a while to get there. This book was so well done and showed how Levi didn't give up on God easily. Like I said this book would make a lot of people mad.

This is my first book by this author and it definitely won't be my last. This was filled with kinky spice, but the plot was also fantastic. I love how we got a great dark romance and some feels as well. If you're religious, then this book will not be for you 🤣🤣. Crosses, confessionals, and holy spicy verses, oh my 😅. This book had me hooked from the very beginning until the last page. This is also probably one of the best written stories about a demon and a priest falling in love as well.
This story follows Father Levi and Killian. Father Levi is called to perform an exorcism on Killian. He just turned 26 and weird demonic things have been happening. As soon as he enters the room, something feels different. He is attracted to Killian and can't keep his body or thoughts in check. None of the usual holy relics quite work on Killian either. This leads to spicy times 🥵. The cross ✝️ 🫣😏. Father Levi is disgusted with himself then leaves to cleanse himself. Of course Killian follows him. Levi tries to kill Killian but fails. This leads to some spicy bible verses, a sexy debauched baptism, and some truths that Levi can't accept. Killian ends up going on a quest for the other half of his soul to be good enough for Levi. Will Levi be able to accept his feelings for Killian? Will Killian come back to claim his priest? Can these two create their own Heaven in each other?
I loved these two men together so much. The chemistry and tension was so damn sexy 🥵🥵. The spice was top notch and so kinky 🔥🔥🔥🔥. The confessional and church scenes 😏😈. The cross and Bible verse talking while sexy time happened 🥵😈. I also loved seeing the vulnerable moments. Even when Killian didn't have his half of a soul, he still felt something for Levi. Everything he went through to get that half of his soul so he could be better for Levi had me 🥹🥹. I really liked how the author portrayed the struggle for Levi and his faith. Their banter was hilarious at times as well. The pull between these two was everything. I really loved the twist of who Killian really was as well. I was so happy to see them both come to terms and get their HEA!

This book was filthy, toxic, dark, twisted, and absolutely unhinged… and I ate up every single second of it. If you’re looking for a soft wholesome romance, turn around immediately because Unholy does not care about your feelings.
The vibes were pure obsession, manipulation, sin, and destruction wrapped up in tension so thick I could practically taste it. The characters were messed up in the best possible way and the chemistry felt dangerous from the start. It’s one of those books where you know everything is wrong… but you physically cannot stop turning the pages.
Was it chaotic? Yes. Was it evil? Also yes. Did I love every filthy second of it? Absolutely.
If dark romance with morally black characters, toxic obsession, and “this should not be hot but somehow it is” energy is your thing… welcome to your next addiction.

I was a little skeptical the first few pages of this book if I was going to like it. Spoiler I ended up loving it. It tackles some heavy emotions and topics surrounded around religion which can be hard for some people to read. I enjoyed all of the emotions and trials and angst this book had. I felt like both sides were represented well and definitely give’s you some things to think about and ponder.

Absolutely obsessed with this book it’s sexy, smart, and surprisingly emotional in all the best ways.
Levi’s mission is to cast out the demon possessing Killian, but nothing goes according to plan… unless the plan is to fall under a demon’s spell, because wow. The heat between them is off the charts. Think: sinful, forbidden, deliciously dangerous.
But what really got me was how much heart this story had. Killian’s demon side falling in love? Yes, please. The layers of redemption, internal struggle, and learning to let go of prejudice hit so hard. Both MMCs had such powerful moments of self-reflection, and I found myself rooting for them beyond the spicy scenes (which, by the way, sizzle).
Also, the way the Easter themes were woven in? Subtle, meaningful, and perfect for the timing of the release.
Honestly, it was one of those books where I finished and immediately wanted to start over. A fiery, emotional ride from start to finish.

If you are religious and do not like reading anything with sacrilege/ blasphemy. Turn around, walk away, and do not look back. This is not the book for you.. However, if you are like me with zero triggers and love Taboo procede forward because holy hot hell 🔥 literally, there is a demon ( Killian.) you start routing for pretty early on in the story. And a priest (Levi) who begins questioning everything. Levi and Killian have some hot and dirty scenes that will leave you thinking about taking yourself to confession and maybe saying a few roasarys, and it's completely worth it..

Levi is called in to perform an exorcism on Killian. However it turns out that Killian isn't just possessed but is actually half demon. The exorcism fails but the 2 have a sexual interlude for a day or so. 3 months pass and Killian finds Levi in his church and again engage on a sexual interlude.

okay so I could understand why some people would hate it... I mean come on its literally the most rebellious book I've ever read. I've never read something that has been so against religion until now.
I am personally not religious myself to reading this book really shined some light on that.
Reading about how Levi was so obsessed with the thought of a god made me cry BUCKETS.
There were a significant amount of times where I had to just put my phone down and just stare at my walls.
The only complete reason why I gave it a 4 star and not a 5 star was because I wasn't too fond of the smut. There were too many prayers and although I know that was the whole point, I still couldn't rock with it.
If you are a really religious person, do not read this book but overall this book was phenomenal, I still find myself flipping back to my favorite pages.

This is an easy, short and enjoyable, spicy mm romance between a priest and a demon with a HEA.
The story has a lot of typical Catholic blasphemous imagery, including several reworded prayers, so if that's not your jam ... :) I found it fascinating and creative.
The spice is nice, mostly consensual and medium graphic.
The story can also be interpreted as a showdown and reconning with the Catholic church's prejudice and discrimination towards LHBTQA, and even the "birth" of an atheist.
The characters could have had more depths and the story been more elaborate, but my preferred romances are usually at least 500 pages :D I totally get that a lot of people prefer shorter stories and I like this one. It "lingers" nicely in my brain.
I received this book for free as an ARC so the few misspellings and some "clumsy" sentences will probably be fixed by the publication date.
I think I will go and see if I can find more of this author, I like the style ...

The book was truly interesting, but many aspects were rushed.
Killian became obsessed with Levi in 0.3 seconds, which doesn't really make sense. He insinuated that he knew Levi, but that was never clearly explained.
Levi was clinging to his faith for most of the book, so it felt weird that he suddenly decided to forsake God. I wish there had been hints of it, that we'd seen him starting to have an increasing amount of doubt. I know that he'd been in complete denial, but it didn't seem realistic.
There's a lot of telling instead of showing in the last part, and that was also a shame.

The beginning packed more of a punch for me than the ending, but I loved this. I had the best time reading it.

Lev and Killian. I was intrigued at the idea of reading a story about a priest and a demon after seeing this book recommendation pop up on my social media. While the book did deliver a very unholy experience it could have benefited from better character development and a longer timeline. There were also several typos/editing errors in the book.

Okay so.... Priest and a demon... Yea, I'm all about that! This was great! The spice was hot! And kinda fucked up at time 😂 also if you are religious this book might not be for you! I loved the end and redemption for Killian! Love is love! So worth the quick (slightly WTF) read!
