This book is a great adventure, taking you back to 1930 Australia. A young girl called daisy is separated from her dad and sister, moved to an orphanage and then to a mansion. All she wants to do is find her family again but daisy learns there is a big secret lying in the mansion.

I was glued to this book and it is a great series.

My youngest son actually awards the book 4.5 stars.
We are really enjoying learning a bit more about what daily life was like in Australia during the Great Depression.

Daisy is randomly adopted by a rich family, to act as a companion for their daughter. Daisy decides that she needs to be sent back to the orphanage so she can escape again to find her father - this plan is SO not well thought out! - and that the best way to do this is to be really, really naughty. To the point of being a cruel little brat, I'm afraid.
