I write spicy romance books that end in an HEA. Contemporary romance, historical romance, paranormal romance…I write it all. The two things my books all have in common is lots of emotion and spice. Last year, I fell in love with a new subgenre: mafia romance. Since I write what I love to read, I started a new standalone series, Syndicate Rules where you’ll meet over the top alpha heroes in the Italian and Greek mafias as well as the Irish mob. There are arranged marriages, forced marriages, enemies to lovers, stalkers, forced proximity and lots of mafia intrigue. Morally gray is my new favorite color.

I’ve been published a while and most of my 90+ books have hit the Nielson Bookscan bestseller list, a few ended up on the USA Today bestseller list and some even hit national bestseller lists in the UK and Australia. My books have been translated into numerous languages and are for sale in dozens of countries around the world. I’ve won awards and been published with most of the big houses in New York, but my greatest achievement is touching readers’ hearts. When I hear from a reader who got caught up in one of my books, I know I’m doing what I’m meant to do.

I love writing emotionally deep stories with snappy dialogue and solid plots. I’m more grateful than I’ll ever be able to express that so many readers have taken my stories into their hearts and put my books on their reread and keeper shelves.

Fabulous bundle, proceeds to PTSD Vets

I have only read one book in this bundle so far, but it is so good that I would have paid the price for this book alone. Sabrina York's book Heartbreak on a Stick is absolutely fantastic! Gina and Jason were high school sweethearts, deeply in love. She was from a well off family but he grew up on the poor side of town. They planned to elope after school ended, but something happened to make each think the other stood them up. Jason left for Hollywood and became a mega star. Gina stayed and eventually opened a small eatery specializing in crepes. Many years later Jason and entourage return home for a publicity stunt. But Jason has an ulterior motive. He wants revenge for his broken heart. Gina wants to avoid Jason, for she has secrets she does not want Jason to discover. The book was so good I could not put it down. Two people who love each other but are pretending otherwise. Love that re-blooms but so many things, and people, get in the way! Misunderstanding continue and secrets are uncovered. And the supporting characters are wonderful! I hope the author plans other books because I would love to read more about this small town and its inhabitants!

I read HEARTBREAK ON A STICK by sabrina york. I loved this story. Gina and Jasons story was very well written. The secondary characters were well written as well. 10yrs that they were a part was heartbreaking but they found away to work it out. Wish the story was longer to play out when the ending fit. I recvd an ARC for an honest review. cant wait for the box set to come out

Hometown Heroes is a boxed set of 14 full length novels. The proceeds of this boxed set is being donated to the Pets for Vets Charity. I absolutely love the idea of this charity and will be buying my copy as soon as it's released. I was given an advanced copy of Heartbreak on a Stick by Sabrina York to review for this release.

Heartbreak On a Stick by Sabrina York

Hotness Rating 3 out of 5

I couldn't pass up the opportunity to review this book if I wanted to. Sabrina York is the master of witty banter and dialogue, a great story, and even hotter characters. I swear every time I start another book written by this super entertaining, slightly sarcastic author I remember again why I love her so much!

Heartbreak On a Stick tells the story of how life can take you in directions you never saw coming, but somehow lead you right back to where you started and where you need to be.

Jason Sherwood thought he was loved once. Turned out he was wrong and he got his heart broken in a big way because of it. Because of this he left the small town of Ames Lake and the one that broke his heart behind. It was easy enough leaving Ames Lake. As the son of a trash collector Jason was insulted or worse on an almost daily basis. Leaving Gina was harder. Even though she broke his heart and turned out to be the same as everyone else he's never been able to stop thinking about her. It's not like life hasn't worked out for him. I mean he's the most sought after actor in the country. He's famous for his talents in and out of movies and everyone knows his name. It just so happens that his career is exactly what is forcing him back to the same town that he swore he would never return to. If an upside to any of it is to be found he knows she won't be there. Gina left town a long time ago and had no problems with never looking back.

Gina Fox is beside herself with worry. Sure the whole town is over the moon excited for the return of their hometown hero. How quickly one forgets how they treated their hero all of those years before. But, who is she to judge when she wants nothing more than to avoid the jerk at all costs. She's still smarting over the fact that he left her when she needed him most. She thought he loved her. Boy was she wrong. To make it through those hard times Gina did what she had to and has more than a couple bumps and bruises to show for it, but her life is good and she can't allow Jason to pop in and take it all away from her.

I loved Jason! Seeing as how most of the town treated him growing up Jason could've returned to town in his limo and shoved his success and life right in their faces, but he didn't. Even when he tried to be mean he couldn't do it. I loved his sense of humor and his acceptance of life and the curves it threw his way. The way he talked to Kiki and treated her was adorable and a joy to read. Gina was too accepting of the crap that people shoveled at her at times. I was just waiting for the moment when she let her sister and father have it. Turning the other cheek and being the bigger person worked for her, though. She was a good, hard-working woman and refused to let anyone else's actions change her.

Jason and Gina had a ton of obstacles to overcome, but when they got in a room together there was no doubt that they would do just that. Not only was their sizzle and attraction, but they had a true friendship that you could feel. If any of the other books in this set are even half as good as Heartbreak On a Stick I will consider it the cherry on an already perfect sundae. You'll love this book!

Review for Sabrina York's "Heartbreak on a Stick":

When was the last time you read a good romance? A make you feel all warm inside and the characters felt like long lost friends? Sabrina has a way of writing that makes you feel as if you are right inside the story, and you become swept up in the love story she is telling. Gina & Jason's romance is a smexxy tale you must read! Highly recommend this one!

My fav quote: "But that's the thing about life, Kiki. If we're lucky, and patient and hold onto hope, someday, another chance will come along."

A LITTLE HARMLESS SEX - Melissa Schroeder—Two best friends who have always been attracted to each other but never acted on it suddenly find themselves having a few drinks after Anna dumped her boyfriend and Max’s fiancé dumps him (who he really wasn’t in love with) and before they know it the clothes are off and they are having the hottest sex either has had. Even though they have both known each other since they were kids there are still a few issues and bumps in the road these two have to conquer before the get their happy ever after.

CHANGE THE GAME - Lucy Monroe – I liked this one. It has what used to be one of my favorite romance tropes in it. Man is out for revenge and he doesn’t care about what or who gets in his way but yet he finds himself attracted to the daughter of the man he hates and convinces her to marry him. This isn’t dark in anyway – there is plenty of humor when they meet because Isabel isn’t a pushover and she fights for her beliefs. Alex was basically a good guy torn between a revenge he’s wanted for years and about wanting to have Isabel also. He makes quite a few mistakes and I have to say Isabel is more of a forgiving person than I would ever be but deep down you knew he did care for her and had hopes he would make the right decision in the end. This also had the bonus of another romance – Alex’s partner and secretary – but their romance didn’t end well and it’s the set up for the book in the series.

WILD RIDE - Nancy Warren I liked this author’s voice. None of the main characters were conventional. Duncan Forbes has come to a small town in Oregon trying to find a painting that was stolen during WWII. He’s a art history professor who writes books and is known as the Indiana Jones of the stolen art world. When he gets to town and find out that the man that may know where the painting is dead he sets his eyes on his granddaughter, Alexandra Forrest, who is the town librarian but dresses naughty. Soon they find themselves dealing with a dead body and attempts on their lives all while starting a smoking fling. There is also a side romance with the Sheriff who is trying to figure out what is going on in his town and Gillian who is Alex’s cousin who first looks to be lying drug addict but we soon find out all is not how is seems.

HEARTBREAK ON A STICK - Sabrina York Two young lovers who were torn apart by her father 10 years ago reunite and find that nothing about their feelings have changed in that time. But that doesn’t mean its smooth sailing. Jason is how a huge movie star that cannot go anywhere without the paparazzi hounding him and Gina has a huge secret from all those years ago. Yes you can probably guess what it is but this was an entertaining read that even with what happened to them as kids is was pretty angst free as these two were like soul mates that just took a 10 year hiatus.

MADRONA SUNSET - Jami Davenport Very likable cast of characters in this touching book that’s the first in a new series. The two main leads are connected by a great loss but only one knows how they are connected. Mandy lost her husband to war 4 years ago. She’s never gotten over his death and decided to move to Madrona Island to escape from the world and run a B&B. Things didn’t go as planned and now she is supplementing her income by being a bartender at the local bar. Brody was the man her husband saved but in the process got himself killed. Brody has lived with the guilt of that ever since along with having to deal with injuries that will never heal. His buddy made him promise that he would look after Mandy and make sure she moved on. Its taken him all this time to finally get the nerve to do that and is surprised to find himself attracted to her but refuses to give in as one is wrong and two he doesn’t plan to stick around. There is a tad bit of other worldly influence in this one along with some really good secondary characters whom I assume will be the basis of future books. This didn’t get to tear jerker status but it was still a heartbreaking read watching these two finally have to deal with their grief and learn to both move on.

BRACE FOR IMPACT - Allie K. Adams The name of this one says it all as the opening scene is a plane crashing. Things don’t slow down from there either. This was a fast paced romantic suspense with a pilot with a huge chip on his shoulder against Doctors and a doctor with amnesia who is being accused of murder. These two have to rely on each other after the crash and even once they may it back to town because little by little clues as to what really happened to Dr. Kaycee Addison reveal there is still someone out there that wants her dead. I enjoyed this one and look forward to reading more from this author.

GRAVE DANGER - Rachel Grant- In this archaeological thriller our heroine, Libby Maitland has been hired to excavate a site so a large corporation can get the permits they need to build a Cultural Center. But things aren’t going smoothly. First unexplained things start happening around her which makes her think her ex who she has had a restraining order against is back stalking her. The local Police Chief, Mark Colby isn’t all that helpful at first. But it’s not long before he realizes that maybe she’s not crazy and there is some substance to her claims. When the local Kalahwamish tribal chairman request that Libby’s report to the Corps of Engineers show how the tribe was treated by the Thorpe family over the years things go from bad to worse. From here Libby starts following treads that she thinks has to do with the wrongful treatment of the tribe but it ends up leading to old murders which puts Libby in the crossfire of someone who doesn’t want past secrets uncovered.

Hope to be able to come back and finish the rest. Every book I've read so far in the series has been good.

HONORABLE SACRIFICE - Destiny Blaine

SHE'S WORTH IT ALL - Cathryn Cade

DECEIVING DANTE - Kate Davies

ROCK, RATTLE AND ROLL - Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott

TURNING THIRTY-TWELVE - Sandy James

HIS ONLY DESIRE - Adrianne Lee

EVEN HEROES CRY - Hildie McQueen

THE VIXEN & THE VET - Katy Regnery

Average - 4 stars - 3 flames

Box sets are wonderful for readers: you get a taste of authors you may not be familiar with, and get to check back in with favorites you already know. And this set is chock-full of wonderful reads, with sixteen (yes 16) full-length novels. Sadly all of that makes a huge problem for me as a reviewer. Sixteen full-length books (whether stand-alone titles or part of a series) really is a TON of reading for a post/spotlight. But, I have read many in this series, and skimmed others – and here is what I come up with.

Most of these titles range from 3 – 5 stars, with some super sexy and others focusing on the romance and the connection. Both styles of story focus are good: it really comes down to a personal choice.

A Little Harmless Sex: Harmless # 1 by Melissa Schroeder 4 stars/4 flames
Anna and Max have been friends for years, but he’s always only thought of her as a ‘little sister”. Dumped by his fiancé with the lithe and sexy Anna to offer a shoulder to cry on, they soon realize that the “friends with benefits’ works for them, but the benefit is Love and a HEA. Anna is clever, totally commitment phobic, and utterly adorable. Max is a little controlling but this hides a deep streak of romanticism and heart.

Heartbreak on a Stick by Sabrina York 5 Stars/3 Flames
There’s no secret that I love Ms. York’s writing, her trademark humor and snark come through every heroine making them near and dear to my heart. In this story, local poor boy makes good, Hollywood A-List good and returns to the not-so-beloved hometown to get some answers. But Jason has more than just Gina to deal with, there is an adorable 9 going on 40 little girl who brings the sass and a tiara to every party. And who doesn’t love a reconnection between lovers with crossed communication? The heart and the town are all you could hope for in this story.

She’s Worth It All by Cathryn Cade 5 stars / 4 flames
My first encounter with this author and I found it quite interesting, working well as a stand-alone and praising her ability to create such broken characters and give them heart and hope. Yes, Mase and Natalie both have TONS of baggage, and there is the addition of some immature behaviors from secondary characters that just added to the angst. I was having a bit of trouble with all of the “I’m so unworthy” moments, but the reasons were clear and they did find their way to break up that monotony with some growth and some serious steam.

Madrona Sunset: Madrona Island #1 by Jami Davenport 5 stars/ 3 Flames
Another new-to-me author, this is a small-town (or in this case, Island) story, where everyone knows the residents and is inserting themselves, to one degree or another, into their business. That would be all well and good for Mandy – retreating after the death of the love of her life. People are trying to support her, and help her through, but until his friend and fellow soldier Brody appears, the keys don’t start to fall into place. Beautifully capturing the loss, guilt and hopefulness in the journey of these two, Jami Davenport has managed to create a couple that finds strength in their bond, even though their circumstances are brought about by tragedy.

Brace For Impact by Allie K. Adams 3 Stars / 3 flames
Starting with a plane crash in the Cascades, there is tension, worry, and some definite danger to contend with in this the first I’ve read from this author. Pilot Reid is frustrated by the passenger, a Doctor on the run from false charges, and with a case of amnesia. A little much to pile on at the beginning of the story, for me, the crash alone was enough to start the story off without the amnesia or a dangerous killer lurking to end Kaycee before she discovers the truth. So, not my favorite because of all of the seeming unnecessary obstacles at the beginning, it does manage to redeem itself somewhat in the character development and growth as they both learn to trust in someone.

This is an interesting mix of stories, giving you plenty to think about and enjoy. Mixing in some romance and romantic suspense, each hero has plenty to recommend him, and there is enough variety to please fans of every romance genre. With sixteen stories and proceeds all going to Pets for Vets, this is a must grab for readers.

I received an eBook copy of the title from the authors for purpose of honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own responsibility.

80 Stars. 5 for each story

This is a super fantastic box set for a great cause.
There are 16 stories in this set and I devoured them all. These are not short little 3 chapter stories they are full tales with a beginning, middle and end.
A LITTLE HARMLESS SEX by Melissa Schroeder – This is the first in the fabulous A Little Harmless series and the tamest one of the bunch but still a fun read.
CHANGE THE GAME by Lucy Monroe – This is a short fun romantic suspense but the wonderful Lucy Monroe.
WILD RIDE (Changing Gears, Book 1) by Nancy Warren – Nancy Warren is a new to me author but not for long. I will be looking for her work now. The characters in this one will keep you smiling and there is a really good mystery too.
HEARTBREAK ON A STICK by Sabrina York – I got a kick out of watching Gina grow and Mr. Fox is sex on a stick.
MADRONA SUNSET by Jami Davenport – Break out the tissues this one will tear you apart.
BRACE FOR IMPACT by Allie K. Adams – Action adventure and some really scary moments.
HONORABLE SACRIFICE by Destiny Blaine – This one reads like the start of a new series and like any Destiny Blaine story this one is sizzling hot.
SHE'S WORTH IT ALL by Cathryn Cade – This was a pleasant surprise. I’ve read the first three books in the Club 3 series and hadn’t expected any new additions. I hope this story is the beginning of a new arc. Mase is a cop who goes to Club 3 (a fet club) which allows him to indulge in a safe and legal environment. Natalie was screwed over by her ex but now he is dead and she is trying to reclaim her life. But trying to re-open her bar with the locals against her may need police intervention. This is a sweet sexy addition to an already terrific series.
DECEIVING DANTE by Kate Davies – This is a fun one. This cop is hot for teacher.
ROCK, RATTLE AND ROLL by Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott – What is more heroic than helping out a loved one in the middle of a crisis? This story takes place after Rocked (Lost in Oblivion #1) but does just fine as a standalone.
GRAVE DANGER by Rachel Grant – Great mystery with a bit of romance. Although there were times I really wanted to Gibbs slap the hero Mark Colby.
TURNING THIRTY-TWELVE by Sandy James – This was one of my favorites as the hero (cop) and heroine (teacher) are both in their 40’s. Proving that love is lovelier the second time around.
HIS ONLY DESIRE by Adrianne Lee – Another great mystery with a hot cop and sexy smart Deputy District Attorney.
EVEN HEROES CRY by Hildie McQueen – A woman starting over after losing her husband to war and her new neighbor who suffers from PTSD. Maybe they can heal each other. Warning keep the tissues handy.
THE VIXEN & THE VET by Katy Regnery – Another favorite in this set and by a new to me author. Veteran hero Asher Lee has been hiding out at home hiding the wounds he received . Savannah his home licking her wounds after losing her job on a NY newspaper. Maybe they can help each other out and start anew.
TROUBLE WITH A COWBOY by Sandy Sullivan – Sometimes being a hero is helping another out and allowing them to be themselves.

HEARTBREAK ON A STICK by USA Today and New York Times author Sabrina York
Total 5 stars!
OMG! Just how lucky can one be to have the opportunity to read an advanced copy of this amazing story? I have to tell you, the Hometown Hero Collection is worth getting just for this story! It kept me up all night because I HAD to finish it. It was just supposed to be something to help me sleep. I should know better! I never dose on a Sabrina York story! *sigh* But it was so worth the lost sleep. This couple was dynamite!

There really isn’t a lot I can say about this story without giving away spoilers. That being said, for those of you who are Sabrina York fans, there is bacon, a tiara, enough snark to satisfy us all, and a HOT highlander. “I’ve been wondering what exactly a Highlander wears under his kilt.” For those you have not yet had the opportunity to read a Sabrina York story, get this collection! You won’t be sorry! Not only do you get at least one amazing read, (will let you know about the others as I can.) but you also help contribute to a wonderful charity. (I yes I plan to actually pay for a copy when it comes out.) A twofer! Don't pass it up!

SHE'S WORTH IT ALL by bestselling author Cathryn Cade
Total 5 Stars!
Cathryn Cade has been on my must buy list for some time now. In spite of that, although they are all on my to be read list, I have not had the opportunity to read any of the Club 3 series. When I was offered this to review, I wasn’t aware it was part of that series, just that it was Cathryn Cade. Do not worry. This can be read as a stand-alone story. As usual, I am sure the experience would be much richer and fuller if the other books in the series are read first, but not at all necessary. I was never lost or wondering, uh?

*shakes head* Mase and Natalie were sure made for each other. Amazing that they managed to put aside their insecurities and feelings of unworthiness long enough to start a relationship. I mean, when both have the same kind of baggage, it is really hard to climb out of that pile. But that is what makes a fun and interesting story, don’t you think? These two sure were fun. And HOT! OMG did they burn up the sheets, well when they actually made it to the sheets, in between their feeling of unworthiness. *fanning self*

I must admit, they each did have excellent reasons for their insecurities. I wanted to straggle a few characters myself! What immature asses! Oh yes. Cahtryn Cade did a wonderful job of pulling me into the story and making me feel part of it. I wanted to slap a few people, hug some others, jump on a couple of the hot guys, and my voyeur’s glasses were definitely polished up for better viewing.

Another fine addition to this wonderful collection, and all the author’s proceeds will benefit Vets and Pets. Just how cool is that? If I didn’t already have this collection on pre-order, I would now. So far two fantastic books for the cost of only one. If this is a sample of what is coming, I don’t want to miss it.

I have only had the pleasure of reading Heartbreak on a Stick by Sabrina York from this collection. If the rest of the stories in this collection are even half as good as Heartbreak on a Stick, then this is going to be an awesome collection to read!

I am a huge fan of Sabrina York. She has a way of writing fun but touching characters that have a way of finding their way into my heart. This talented lady also has a masterful way of writing steamy scenes that may almost melt your Kindle. So for goodness sake grab a COLD drink, find a comfy chair and settle in for some awesome reading time.

Heartbreak on a Stick is a great reunion story. Gina and Jason were high school sweethearts and then torn apart by situations that neither was in control of. When Jason returns to town the sparks are still there between these and they turn flammable quite quickly. However there is many things that they both need to know before they are able to make a relationship between them work for the second time.

I love reunion romances because they already share a past together and it is so much fun watching them get to know each other and how much they have changed.

This really is an awesome story. I had a horrible time setting this down. I loved the Characters of Gina and Jason, and Lucy, Kiki, Marie, Brace, & Candy. Kiki is just beyond adorable and I loved how Gina and Jason as well as the rest of the charters interacted with her. This little girl is not only adorable but has the cutest personality.

The one thing I found interesting is that all the people that wanted nothing to do with Jason before he left town, now can't get close enough to him. I think this is probably true of lot of stars returning to their hometowns. It's was nice to see Jason remember who his friends really were though.

I don't want to tell you too much about this story. I will tell you that there is plenty of drama, suspense, romance, ooo lots of steam, great family interaction, and over all just one really awesome story. Of course this story was written by the fabulous Sabrina York so of course I loved it and found it to be an entertaining read. I just adore this talented author and can't get enough of her work.

If you are already a Sabrina York fan then you need to grab this collection for this story if nothing else. However I see a lot of talented authors names on this box set so I have a feeling there are a LOT of awesome stories included in here.

I was given the opportunity to read this great story so that I may share my thoughts with you. As always it has been my pleasure to share my thoughts with you on HeartBreak on a Stick.

I only read Heartbreak On A Stick in the bundle at this time. Though Sabrina York once again show cased her readers with her amazing talent. Here is a true romance that takes you back to that high school first love. Though with the outcast from the wrong side of the tracks and the girl who coudl have it all. Gina and Jason were destined to be together. Though through many decits, lies, secrets and interfrence, maybe not. Years later, secrets still out. Jason the once loser, now a big time Movie Star and Gina who disappeared has been back to their small town and has created a life for herself have now cross paths once again. Yet this time, Jason and Gina think of how each can play a little revenge on each other and try to give what they believe each of the other deserves. Though can these two really pull it off or can they really discover the missing true love for each other they once had. There are secrets to be uncovered, that could make it or break it. Then living in a small town where everyone knows everyone and talbots are everywhere, can a relationship withhold it all. I was so intrigued by Heartbreak on A Stick. This is a "Just One More Chapter" kind of night. Until that chapter reaches the end of the book! Don't miss your chance on this amazing book. Find out if Jason the Hot Movie Star and Gina the amazing small town business owner of the cafe can see through all the once damage that set them apart, now pull them back together. Sabrina York, is a very talented, gifted author who gives you the sense you are inside the book, in the town. Looking forward to Sabrina's next release.

My first review is for EVEN HEROES CRY by Hildie McQueen. I look forward to reading many more stories in this set and will update my review as I complete each story

Tesha Washington has purchased herself an old Victorian to fix up in Lovely, Tennessee. Trying to move on after the loss of her husband 3 years ago in Iraq Tesha decides she needs to move away and start to rebuild.

Adam Ford is a recluse after his return from service. Moving to Lovely, Tennessee into the house left to him by his best friend and lost comrade he finds himself still gripped in the torment he left behind.

When Tesha moves in next door to Adam she has been told he is a recluse but when they finally meet he is nothing to what she imagined. Adam is reluctant to let Tesha in but as they spend time together and their attraction to each other grows Adam knows he must tell Tesha his secret. But can Adam tell Tesha and then let her in and will Tesha be willing to accept Adam with all he is facing.

I really enjoyed reading Even Heroes Cry and look forward to seeing what Hildie does with the other characters especially the remaining Ford Brothers.

WOW! This is one of the very BEST box sets I have read. These 16 different stories have some of the hottest heroes you will come across. EMT's, firemen, vets, and cops OH MY!!!!! There is a story for every taste in this set and you will probably fall in love with more than just a few.

One of my favorites was Honorable Sacrifice by Destiny Blaine. She does not disappoint and I hope that she continues on with this story. It was nice to see a strong woman in a position of power but still being 100% female.

If you like rock stars, got it. Like alphas, got it. Like hot cops who are romantic, got it. Single dads more to your liking, got it. In other words any style of hero you like, this set has it! Then you add the price in and how could you possibly say no? $1.99 and 16 stories which are full of hot men and even hotter relationships is something no one should pass up.

This is a box set that will take you quite a long time to read and is worth every single penny!!!!!!!

I received this set free for my honest review. Here it is. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS SET! I feel that it is worth the pennies and more. And it is for such a wonderful and worthy cause, Pets for Vets. Such wonderful authors with such wonderful and HOT stories in this set. Some a little steamier than others. I recommend that everyone get this set, you will not be disappointed with this set. I have also been able to find some more new to me authors and look forward to reading more of their books, especially the ones that continue the series from the books in this set. Thank you to all of you ladies for putting this box set together and for supporting our Vets and such a worthy cause, you are even more wonderful for doing this. And a final thank you to ALL of our Vets, past, present and future, for what you sacrifice for me and our country, I salute you and send you lots of hugs and love. May God bless you and protect you through all of your days and nights.

I received this book for an honest review. I like reading anthologies and was pleasantly surprised by this one. I was expecting a collection of short stories and it was anything but. Anytime you get a collection of stories you know you're not going to like everyone of them and for me this was the case. Happy to report it was only one I really didnt like and one I had a problem with. The one I had a problem with was about two friends who didnt talk to each other once they became romantic! Really couldnt get passed that. I would have paid for this collection and been very happy with the results. The stories were believable and gave background on the characters. None of them felt rushed. I liked how at the end of each story lists of other works by the author was included. Definitely worth the time.

Fantastic anthology!!! There's a wide variety of romance themed books (Romance suspense, reunited love, war heroes and so on) most are part of a series, but with the exception of one, they are all standalones in a series (Rock Rattle and Roll by Taryn Elliot was very hard to follow. I am thinking if I had read the first in this series I wouldn't have been lost). All of the books ranged from 3-5 stars, with both of the wounded warriors being my favorites. All proceeds from this anthology are being donated to Pets for Vets, whose goal is to help heal the emotional wounds of military veterans by pairing them with a shelter animal that is specially selected to match his or her personality. I highly suggest this book to anyone who loves romance novels and anyone who would love to give back to the real heroes out there :)

This is a book that has romance with a lil bit of everything. There were so many great reads included in this bundle. There was sweet romance, romance suspense, military romance, 2nd chances, and the list goes one. There is something for every romance book lover.

Thanks to this anthology, I have found many more authors that I am now looking forward to reading more of their work. Most of the books can be read as stand alones.

All proceeds are being donated to Pets for Vets, a great organization. This is so worth the money for a great cause. I highly recommend this book and I am looking forward to reading more from the great authors that donated their great talent to such a great cause!

I received an ARC of Heartbreak On A Stick bt Sabrina York for an honest review and I have to say that although I always like Sabrina's books she outdid herself on this one. All of the Characters were so well described that I felt like they were people I knew and I was experiencing there problems with them. They start out misunderstanding what happened years before and finding a way to get over the hurt and make a happy life for themselves. If all the stories in this group are as good as this one it will be well worth reading them.

This bundle is a treasure hunt and the treasure goes for an awsome cause. Some stories are better than some and there are others that are gems that I had to go and buy every book from that author. That is why I love bundles in general. You find new authors to love that you might have never given a chance otherwise. But the best thing about this Bundle is that it is raising to an amazing charity. My dad was in the Navy and my husband is a police officer. They are my heroes.

Wonderful cause and a great bunch of boots

This group of stories help our service members obtain pets. They give so much to our country defending us, I'm glad these authors took the time to write this group of stories to honor our veterans. My favorites were: Brave for Impact by Allie K. Adams, Even Heroes cry by Hildebrand McQueen and The Vixen and the Vet by Katy Regnery.

LM's Change the Game was interesting. Liked how the hero caught info from quietly sneaking up on private conversations & promptly acted!
Alex (CIS CEO) & Isabel Harrison
Marcus & Veronica left as a cliffhanger....

A collection of full length books, this was well worth the purchase price. Several of these stories have become new favorites and I can't wait to see what else the authors have available.
