Blood was spilled. A sacrifice was made. And now, Hell is the only place she belongs.
Evelyn never believed in fate—until a drop of her blood awakened an ancient sacrifice stone, marking her as a prize for the creatures of Hell. Hunted by half-lings and demons, she is thrust into a world of darkness, danger, and forbidden power.
She’s his sister’s best friend. She’s off-limits. He’s breaking every rule to keep her.
Remington has spent years resisting the pull of his monstrous nature. But when Evelyn is dragged into his world, the darkness inside him awakens. The prince of Hell is no savior—but he will spill blood to protect what is his.
Blood calls to blood. Power demands a price. And in Hell, nothing is ever freely given.
The Night is Endless is a dark fantasy romance perfect for readers who crave blood-stained love, forbidden temptation, and dangerously seductive monsters who refuse to let go.

I hadn't read the other series which is interconnected to this one (The Sky is Starless) and to be honest I think I would have understood more if I had, however I finished the book and it was a good story regardless.
It was a little too YA for me I think and the story just didn't keep me as hooked as I would have liked.
I did like the characters and the found family that is really well written.
There's so much - heaven, hell, runes, action, adventure and romance.
I would recommend reading the other series first but it was a nice introduction to this authors work for me!
Thank you to Book Sirens and the author for the arc. This my own honest review of the book.
I received an ARC a few months ago but didn't manage to complete the book until now - my apologies to the author and Book Sirens and thank you for the opportunity. I did finally finish it so I can share my thoughts. I did not read the first book (The Sky is Starless) and while having a little extra background context would have been nice, I don't think it was necessary for this story, you can understand and follow along pretty well. I really enjoyed the fantasy world this author has written and how Heaven, Hell and the Earthen plane were woven together, with ancient texts, runes and secret rituals that have been lost to time but are being studied through archaeology.
I loved the main characters Remington and Evelyn, and the tension between them. There was a good balance of softness, strength and stubbornness in the both of them. The side characters are interesting too and I'm looking forward to reading about their stories in future books as the last few chapters set up the next novel. The storyline was slow in places, and too fast in others but overall I enjoyed this book. This book is pretty low spice (1 or 1.5 chili peppers) if that is important to other readers. I expected a bit more from a Prince of Hell ;)
There were some issues with the writing; repeated use certain descriptors or phrases. Don't get me wrong, I love me some smirking and growling but I noticed the repetition every other sentence sometimes. There was also repetition in some character conversations where they literally asked/said the exact same thing a few paragraphs later. Also not quite sure how SUVs in Hell make sense as a transport vehicle but we'll skip that as something to just accept in an urban fantasy novel.
The Night is Endless by M. R. Pritchard captures my love of all things paranormal romantasy mixed and archeological mysteries. This connected standalone was a satisying addition to it's sister story of The Sky is Starless. I read The Sky is Starless and found that it helped me connect to the characters in this story better; however, readers would still be able to enjoy this novel without reading the first book.
During The Night is Endless, Evelyn is just a normal mortal who was unexpectedly thrown into a world where demons, The Prince of Darkness (Remington), shadows, and monsters are the norm. Evelyn is a sassy human that enjoys a little fun, mystery, history, and doesn't pull any punches when she wants to be part of the action.
Heaven, hell, portals, and familiar paranormal creatures create a world that is easy to understand and captivating throughout. I enjoyed seeing "Hell" as a parallel universe vs. the typical view told in the bible. It allows the reader to still care about the main characters without being limited by a spiritual view of the place. I also enjoyed the twist on what we might view as "typical" vampires, to a more complex and sexy version.
I loved the relationship between Evelyn and her chosen main male character in the story. They complimented each other without overshadowing their own personal wants and needs.
The romance in this book is nice without being taking over the storyline. This book is appropriate for YA and adult readers.
I almost accidentally started with this one - but it should definitely be read after The Sky is Starless to avoid spoilers and experience the story from the right angle. At this point, we already know Evelyn - the perfect friend: funny, reliable, beautiful, loud, and brave enough to push you out of your comfort zone. Actually, she sets the humor rhythm for the whole story. But behind the laughs, she’s lonely and ill - and this book dives deeper into her struggles, with Rue (and her loyal bodyguard) standing by her side. And then there’s Remington - the forbidden, handsome fruit. And well, even in Hell, the sweetest fruits can sometimes become yours. 😈 It’s strange how an awful place can start to feel more like home than your real home or family... It was fascinating to watch the worldbuilding develop - step by step, adding more history and revealing how this universe breathes. But somehow, the plot felt like it kept circling around the same points again and again - and by the middle, I started wishing for a bigger push forward. And then... it finally did. The ending? Oh yes, there’s still plenty left to explore. The last page? I saw it coming - but still, it left me excited for what’s next! I got this ARC via @booksyrens for free in exchange for my honest review, and I’m super excited to see what comes next! 🖤✨
Genres: Dark Fantasy Romance, Paranormal Romance Tropes: Sister’s Best Friend, Pining, Close Proximity, Forbidden Romance, Touch Her and Die, Slow Burn MC: Evelyn (FMC), Remington (MMC) Setting: Hell, Earth Triggers: assault, health scare (brain tumor) Epilogue: Yes
Synopsis: Evelyn is working at a remote archaeological dig site with her best friend Rue when she uncovers a mysterious rune that sets off a series of unsettling events. As paranormal incidents escalate and a demonic stranger begins to follow them, Evelyn finds herself drawn further into a dangerous world far beyond her mortal understanding. With the unexpected arrival of Rue’s twin brother, Remington, Evelyn begins to learn about the dark truths and forces surrounding her. She requires time to heal from her health scares, though the threats against her continue to worsen, leading her to rely on Remington. While in his care, their attraction deepens further and affection grows between the two. What originally began as an ancient discovery quickly becomes an immortal battle, resulting in choices that will alter the course of Evelyn’s life.
Thoughts: I really enjoyed this story and how it incorporated different paranormal/mythical elements from Heaven and Hell to runes, and vampire-like blood bonds. I also thought the history of Hell, including the different battles and interpersonal relationships was interesting. Remington and his family are never truly safe from conflict, and coming out on top through all these power struggles just shows their real strength. I felt bad for Evelyn and Remington being warned to stay away from each other, when they clearly felt something immediately for one another. The pining and slow burn was intense, but I think it made their connection that much deeper when finally getting together. I’m glad they found a solution to Evelyn being able to stay in Hell with Remington, and getting the family she deserves. They were clearly always meant to be together.
I really enjoyed this book. I was given an ARC and I thought this was the first book in the series. It is not. This is the second book and it’s an interconnected standalone series. This is also a spinoff from the Veil of Shadows series. I have not read any of the other books in this world. But it did not matter. The world building was easy to follow. I never once had to question what was going on or how something worked and that speaks to M. R. Pritchards good writing. This story was engaging and fun. I find a lot of times when you write a standalone the ending feels rushed but it was not the case with this book it was paced so well. I loved the characters and world so much that I am going to go back and read the Veil of Shadows series and the first book in this one. If I could give half stars to reviews I would give this book 4 1/2 stars. It was fun and the perfect book to read to get you out of a book slump or hangover. I adored book one & now I am obsessed with book two and the series so far! I have a thing for heaven/hell: angel/demon stories and this one is just top tier.
I loved Evelyn in the first book! She was fiery & funny and fiercely loyal to Rue. This book focused mostly on her and Rue’s brother Remington. They met in book one and had an instant connection. Because of Evelyn being human, they were somewhat forbidden from being anything to one another.
Finally, in this book, Evelyn accidentally placed herself directly in the middle of a bidding war with Hellions. What did they want? Her. In comes Remington to eventually save the day and maybe.. get the girl? You’ll have to read it & find out!
Having mash ups with Rue & Dacre (and little Lucipur!) made me love this addition to the Veil of Shadows world even more. They remained swoon worthy and I was here for it! But that wasn’t the only swooning I was doing, if you catch my drift😉
Thank you Meredith & BookSirens for this ARC! I cannot wait for the next book!
The Night is Endless is a seductive dark fantasy of forbidden love and temptation that unfolds against a backdrop of hell when human MFC Evelyn unknowingly awakes something ancient after a drop of her blood from a nosebleed is absorbed by the stone relic she is examining on an archaeological dig. Now she has become a prize sought after by the creatures of Hell as strange things begin to happen around her.
MMC Remington is the brother of her best friend Rue who she is on the dig with and he just happens to be a prince of Hell which will come in handy for Evelyn when her situation begins to spiral, and he arrives to investigate.
This was a wonderfully written and entertaining read with lots of danger, action, intrigue, spice, romance, tension, and thrills coursing through a fast paced narrative that guaranteed an immersive adventure in this newest standalone story that follows the next generation in the Veil of Shadows.

Yet again - this book was sooo freaking good - LOVE getting to see more of Rue with her best friend Evelyn, even as the book takes us into Evelyn's and Remmington's tale, and their wild clash between the mortal human woman that is Evelyn and the Prince of Hell, Shadow Heir, son of one of the 7 King's of Heaven, former Hellion. Also jfc - f****** Alastor...... can't believe Meg and/or Sparrow hadn't already hunted him down and dealt with him, permanently, after what he'd done to Meg's wings, much less everything else - way to freaking go, Remm! CAANNOT wait to see what all else Rue and Evelyn uncover and discover and all, and Thrush - I knew that was coming - but glad to see that Evelyn somehow was able to reach him. Can't wait to see how that pile of chaos is going to play out and to find out what Rue saw in her vision. LOVING getting to see the kids from the first generation series finding themselves and their own partners and lives and all - can't wait for more :D
All the stars once again that are missing from Hellsky's starless sky/5 once more :D
‘the Night is Endless’ is a brilliantly written love story that grabs you by your collar and yanks you through the window, from page one. I woke up at 3am this morning, couldn’t fall back to sleep, so I opened this book thinking it would relax me enough to fall back to sleep. Instead, I found myself reading the final pages, wondering how the time slipped by me unaware. That is until I reflected back on Remington and Evelyn’s journey—Drama, Pain, Comfort, Curses, Secrets revealed, Spice, and Love.
Looking forward to Book 2

"The scent of her blood was still thick in the air, but beneath it, he swore he could still catch the faintest trace of her—something sweet, something alive. Something like sunshine."
⭐⭐⭐⭐
Okay I'm obsessed with these characters and this world.
I haven't read any previous M.R Pritchard works, and so didn't have any world building from previous stories. Yet, I don't think I suffered without previous knowledge. Things were explained as they happened, and I got to understand the dynamics between characters pretty easily.
I adore Remm and I love that he's a big softy for Evelyn, and that he's still learning how to properly care for the woman he's infatuated with.
Chel is my homeboy and I love him. He keeps Remm grounded, and isn't afraid to call him out for his shit.
I enjoyed the plot of this one, and felt the pacing was smooth.
Thank you, M.R Pritchard, and BookSirens, for the opportunity to read this eARC!
I already loved the main characters from their appearance on The Sky is Starless, which I absolutely adored btw, and with this book I fell head over heels for both.
Evelyn is determined, fun and caring, I loved being inside her head. And Remington? He's such a contradiction, I LOVE HIM. He tries to fill the shoes of what (he thinks) is expected of his position, which being his parents' kid surely isn't easy.. but he's so much more, we see him being a great brother, friend and a protective alphahole, so you know, exactly my type haha
The plot? Amazing, very high on the fantasy, a well fleshed out storyline, easy enough to follow even if you didn't read the interconnected books. I highly recommend this author and book, and will keep an eye out for her other books.

I was really hoping that this book was just as good as the sky is starless and it was 🫶🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🩷 I’ve had the pleasure of receiving The night is endless as an ARC from BookSirens and can’t thank them and M.R Pritchard enough for the joy it’s brought :) This story follows Remington (Rues brother) and Evelyn (Rues best friend) , they had a brief connection in The Sky is Starless but were told to stay away from each other with Evelyn being human & Rem a Prince of darkness. Events take place where they’re thrown together then pulled apart , wil they have their h.e.a??? Well that’s for you to find out 😉 I love the all the characters and how their personalities are portrayed. I can’t wait for the next instalment ☺️
This is definitely a more true YA novel than a “YA” novel with spice and hardcore romance. I was a bit lost as I had not read the prior series (The sky is starless.) If I could go back I would recommend reading that prior to enjoy this book better.
The book itself was an easy read, but a nice fantasy with romance mixed in. It had demons, shadows, and monsters, plus throw in a mortal and we have this story. The writing is simpler, but wonderful for when you need to take a break from heavier fantasy reads.
Overall, it’s a good read for YA readers and adults wanting an intro into fantasy romances with less spice.

This book was an interesting read! It started out really strong and I enjoyed all of the characters. The plot was different from what I usually read in fantasy book so that was a nice creative change. Towards the middle of the book, the pacing slowed and there were some inconsistencies and repetitive paragraphs which was a bit confusing. Remington’s mother seems like a fun character, and I’d like to have read more of her interactions with the other characters. The most interesting character was Thrush, and I’d probably read a book about him if it was available. I liked the friendship he seemed to be developing with Evelyn but perhaps that’s for a future story.
*I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book. This review is voluntary and all opinions are my own.
This was a pretty good book. There are a few inconsistencies I picked up on and some things seemed redundant. It was not anything major just things I noticed. I would consider this a slow burn romance. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. I have not read any of the previous books in this series. They are standalone books but I think it would have helped me with getting to know the characters. I am looking forward to the next book. I really like Thrush’s character so far.
Meredith has outdone herself once again. Just when I think he books can't get any better she shows me that they can. This book was superb and over the top. Non stop action and twists and turns. Brace yourself for a trip back to Hell with Remington put in a position he's never been in before. Saving Evelyn and protecting her. I will read anything by Meredith. And you should as well. You'll love them all.
Evelyn accidentally becomes a hot commodity in Hell when she activates a sacrifice stone. While his parents are away, Remington is ruling in their stead and has to race against time to save Ev, as everything escalates. Fantastic world-building and character development. M.R. Pritchard weaves a gripping dark fantasy full of wonderful world-building and fantastic characters. I received an advanced copy from the author
Evelyn & Remington I Love this world, Heaven, Hell, Angels and Demons. This is another outstanding story, that I could not put down! It is engaging and has you on the edge of your seat from start to finish! I have read every ting in this world and I Highly Recommend this a great paranormal story! I Loved It!!! No Spoilers! I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
This is the second book in the next generation Veil of Shadows series. We follow the story of Evelyn, an archeology assistant and Remington. They’ve been secretly crushing on each other for a year and something that Evelyn discovers brings them together. Will they listen? I LOVED this book. I would have given it more than five stars if I could have. I can’t wait until the next book.
⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 for The Night is Endless by M.R. Pritchard 👑✨ Spice: very mild If you love dark princes, forced proximity, and a possessive monster MMC… this one’s for you!! Angels, demons, and vampires all wrapped into one addictive read. 🖤
I found this book auiet the unusual of my general reading path but it was still an enjoyable quick read. As the author suggest it has a prestory of the two main characters in a previous book but still can be read as standalone. So I read without having the previous book. Had no issues with timeline so you can get the hang of it. The characters were okey, Hell’s prince and his sister’s human BFF’s romance and adventure.
I really enjoyed the multiple scene with the basilisk while it was pretty short and found the prine’s cousin the most interesting character.
I may get the next book if its about him :)
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Great read! I have a lot of fun reading this authors books! This one is the second in the series but a interconnected standalone that had very fun characters and interesting plot.
Amazing writing and amazing work. I really enjoyed reading her books. I will not read any of her work. Getting lost in this world of Hell and Heaven is so amazing
I have not read the other books but as a stand alone, I felt like this was great and didn’t get confused. It did feel like it was a fast read but enjoyable!

The Night is Endless is the second book in an interconnected series that began with The Sky is Starless, and both are also tied to The Veil of Shadows series. I actually enjoyed this one more than The Sky is Starless, but maybe that’s because I’ve started to really connect with the characters as the series unfolds. The Night is Endless is a fantastic continuation of Rue and Evelyn’s world.
Rue, Evelyn’s friend from book one, is literally caught between Heaven and Hell. She is the daughter of parents from both worlds. Hell is not the typical biblical version. Evelyn, a human accidentally linked to demons, darkness, sacrifice, and Hell. She was a great character in The Sky is Starless and now we can see her story develop in this book. I love her spunk! She’s feisty, independent, and completely unphased by being thrust into a world she’s never seen before. Her relationship with her shadowy, broody MC is 🌶️ yet clean—and I loved watching them fall for each other and fight to stay together. I also love the twist on vampires. I’m a vampire fan and this was fun!
M.R. Pritchard does a great job building immersive, visual worlds without overwhelming the reader. I’m definitely planning to read more of her work.
I’d give this book 4.5 stars. It’s a great fit for both YA and adult readers. The book has a bit of spice, but it’s tasteful and not overly descriptive.
