22 books27 followersI Grew up in the south side of Chicago,IL. I was born to a teenage mother who by the time she was 18 already had two kids. My Mother wasn't the best mother when it came to showing affection. I guess when you have four kids before your 30 life takes on a whole different meaning. I would say that she sort of blamed me for how things turned out because I was first to be born. And its sad to say in our culture that if your a teenage mother of one you will be a young mother of many. My mother probably had all sorts of goals and dreams but they didnt turn out the way she thought they should and in return for her failed dreams she resented me. But I managed to make it from under the shadows and stigma of her. I didnt, however do so easy. My life has been a upheel battle that I explain in grimy details in my book. I have been knocked down hard in my short 28 years of life but I managed to pick myself up and dust myself off. Im currently in the days leading up to the release of my First novel "Memoirs of a Trapstars Wife" and Attending the The Art Institute of Houston

This book is so good. I feel like im in bella shoes but. I understand that age is just a number and they were so in love but i still think thats kinda weird i guess.

Youngins
Even though I enjoyed parts of the books it had a ton of errors and some parts were not believable. I couldn’t get over the main character going to jail to talk about drugs to his brothers that wasn’t the smartest drug dealer move but Samir character is very interesting so I’ll continue the series

Great Read
This book was exciting from beginning to end. I've already purchased part two and can't wait to get started. I love Samir's character and of course hate Ces' character but I know he's crucial to the beginning of what I hope to be a long saga

The main character is calculated and level headed Samir Kendall, the youngest son of a major drug distributor, and despite his mothers hopes for him to stay and graduate from school he is destined to follow in his father and older brothers footsteps. Being in his brothers shadow has taught him many tricks to their trade, and watching Italian gangster films fuelled his ambition to take what his father has built to another level. When the opportunity presents it's self; when Samir's brother's, Ace and Sin are sent to prison, he rises to the occasion to take over Sins set.
First he must pass his fathers test, then find a crew and most importantly get the blessing from his brothers. He finally has the chance to be his own man, and not just the son of Carlyle Kendall and the little brother of Ace and Sin. Samir puts on his boys; Meko, Cesar, Chase and Seven and The Black Corleones are born. For a little over a year the Black Corleones have the drug game on lock- and they are still only 16-17 year old young men- until a devious character tries their hand and they must prove their ability in the game to remain on top.
This is our first time reading a Bella Jones book and we can hands down say that we are a fan. For several months our timeline has been filled with posts about The Black Corleones and now we know why.
We rated Bella Jones' 'The Black Corleones' a 5 star read because the storyline is epic, fast paced and gripping and we are hearing rumours of there being talk of a film, which would be fantastic. Bella's writing style is a pleasure to read and we look forward to reading more books by this talented female author.

Let me get this out, "I HATE SEQUELS!" I'll come back to this point later.
The Black Corleones centers around five childhood friends, Samir, Ceasar, Meko, Seven, and Chase. Samir has watched his father and brothers take over the drug game for fifteen years. He also has seen his friends and their families struggle. So, when a chance comes that will make not only him rich, but his friends, he takes it.
The group, at the tender age of fifteen, form the Black Corleones. Samir rules with a firm, but friendly manner and all is well for a year. But then, greed and jealousy makes one of the Corleones deal with the devil and something devastating happens. With his father and brothers watching, how will Samir handle this situation? Will he and his group stand strong together or will the pressure cause them to fail apart.
Even though the story is based on a true account, it was hard to imagine a fifteen year old being taken seriously as a major contender in the drug game. Also, no need for a sequel. The first one hundred or more pages of this book describes how Samir and the Black Corleones came to be. Just when the book got interesting and some action started to happen, it was over. Ugh. Not sure what's in book two, but I'm sure it could've been in book one.
I would've given this book a higher rating if it was a complete story.

This is definitely a 5-star banger! I absolutely loved this story! Reading the beginning tales of Samir and his crew was truly refreshing! These youngsters have all the qualities needed for a very good saga. I would be very interested in reading more about the Black Corleones; I have already downloaded my copy of the sequel and would highly recommend the author to continue with her tales of these five young teens taking on the role of grown men! I salute you Author Bella Jones, you did an amazing job!

The Black Corleones is a great intro to the boys from The Chi who became bigger than they thought. The show of unity in the beginning is almost undeniable until greed and envy come into play. During all of the chaos, the makings of a love connection is made. To say that the author Bella Jones had put forth another great book is an understatement in her skills as a writer and storyteller. Looking forward to Part 2 of The Black Corleones.

The gripping tale of 5 young boys from Chicago who came up over night!
From the jump I was totally engulfed in this read. From Bella's previous work I was interested in seeing how it all started out. The characters were well developed and the story line flowed effortlessly.
I'm looking forward to reading more about their journey. Great read and I would definitely recommend it.

My, oh my!!! I loved this book!!! To be so young, Sam showed he is a true hustle!!! I looked everyone in the crew but Caesar!!! I hope Sam begins paying more attention to Caesar and not give him too many passes since he's a childhood friend. I can't wait to see what's in store for Kyle and his betrayal.

This is off the beaten path of my normal reading literature. Enjoyed the author's descriptive writing though at times it was predictable. This reminds me a bit of The Coldest Winter ever which I really liked. Was a bit too short for me and so I'm looking forward to a much longer novel.

I loovveedd this book. Bella Jones great job. The Black Corleones are no joke. I love stories about true gangstas and that is what this was. It was so good I read it in a day. I would highly recommend this book.

Ok read
I like the flow of the book but it was moving slow took a while for it to pick up and when it start to pick up it was over threw writer have to give me if u want readers to buy part 2.

Ok
From reading the beginning & then going to chapter one I was confused as hell. I'm thinking the book is about Kevin. After the first few chapters i just rolled with it. Some parts where unrealistic. But all in all it was a good book. Reading pt 2 now.

Great Read
Just loved this book from the start . Samir is all about the money. I love these kind of stories right here, very good story line great charters love the whole set up. So let's see what happens next. Great job my first read with Bella Jones.

I have read a few books like this and this was one of the better books. good story plot, easy to keep up with the characters. Looking forward to book 2.

This is a great story

Real Good Read
