Bright Lights
In a quiet Manhattan boarding house just out of reach of Broadway’s blaze, a cast of quietly striving young men and women live in close quarters. Some are chasing fame. Others are running from something. All are drawn by the seductive gleam of the city’s promise.

In the 1920s, Ostrander was notable enough that Agatha Christie parodied her in her Tommy and Tuppence anthology, Partners in Crime.
