3 CLEARING THE AIR STARS

In tis installment, Lena tries to clear the air with the Finnegan boys and move on with the young architect student, Micah, she literally runs into. But something is going on with both Blake and Slade. I'm not sure either brother has gotten over Lena any more than she's gotten over them.

I liked it a lot, but there is still so much I'm not sure of. I understand that Blake may still think with a young brain. But I think he finally gets that what happened with Lena and Slade could have happened if it had been anyone other than Blake. She was so hurt and upset during that time, that she needed the comfort being with Slade gave her. Right or wrong, it would have happened with anyone she may have come across, if they took advantage of the situation... and Slade obviously did.

I'm sad for Lena that she's walked away from two things that meant so much to her, just to punish herself for what happened. I'm curious about Micah and his story. But most of all, this ended in a way that I'm craving for the next installment already.

Not as good as the first installment, yet I'm still ready for the next book. I also pray that the author does some major editing of the uncorrected proof in the grammar department before publishing.

Way to many typos and missing words and most of the characters aren't likeable at all.

Check out more of my reviews on my blog www.gemmareadstoomuchforittomenormal....

Deception is book #2 in the Finnegan Brothers Series. I loved book #1 Misconception and here's a link to my review.

Deception picks up straight where book #1 ends and I was immediately thrown back into the drama that is Lena, Blake and Slade’s world.

I said it after the first book but this book just confirmed for me that I am totally team Slade!!!

The sexual chemistry that buzzes between Lena and Slade is off the charts!!!

I'm honestly not really sure where Blake falls in this scenario as although Lena and he have a connection it just didn't feel as strong as Lena and Slade.

Lena is a dirty, dirty girl and even though she is playing with the Finnegan Brothers she also pulls a new boy Micah into the mix!!!

The sex scenes in this book are nice and dirty, I love that all of the men are a bit alpha which is seriously sexy!!

This is another novella and again just as it started to get good it finished!!!!

Arghhh I'm so frustrated I need the third book like NOW!!!!

This book ends on a cliff-hanger and again I honestly have no idea how this story is going to play out. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Lena, Blake and Slade just having one massive, dirty threesome and it just ended there lol!!

I loved this, it's a short, filthy, sexy story roll on book #3 this one gets 4 stars from me.

Starting straight up from the end of the first book Misconception, we actually catch up with a happy Lena. She has a new fella –Micah and has finally tried to put the who situation with Blake and Slade behind her.
Although I was left with the feeling that she was longing for something more.
Secrets and lies abound, she does what she can to move on but there is always someone who will be prepared to dish the dirt, so keeping her secret is impossible!
Lena really is a troubled soul and in this instalment, I didn’t find a resolution for that, and in a way that made me sad for her.
She has given up on what could have been potential happiness out of a misguided sense of doing the right thing, righting a wrong that she has no chance of ever getting over. She has to learn to forgive herself for her part and build on that forgiveness. I honestly feel that Slade has feelings for her that given the chance would lead to something more but then again, I may just be kidding myself and looking for a happy ending.
Micah was an interesting character and I was sure that there is much more to him that meets the eye I hope we get to find out more in the next instalment of the series.
Like book one this book also ends on a cliff-hanger and I am keeping my fingers crossed that the next book will put a few more of the questions I have running around in my head to rest.

Holy mother of all cliff hangers! I love this series! I am so very caught up in this and need part 3 now!!! I love Lena. She is just so confused and is trying to act like she is not feeling anything for the Finnegan Brothers. She is so very wrong. I like what I have seen of Micah so far but, I believe she is wrong getting involved when she still has mixed up feelings going on. I know she just wants to move on but, until she deals this will not happen. Clearly Micah knows that she is having issues and that she is lonely but, I do not think he will be prepared for the fall out of the Finnegan brothers that is inevitable. For this reason she is unfair to him. Other than that, he is one hot man and I like him so far. So excited for the next part and hoping that all is okay! The ending leaves you guessing and I am a little scared!

I bought book two as soon as finished book one because I just needed to know what happened between Slade and Lena, and Blake and Lena.

This book felt like a a tease the entire time. You see Lena meeting and possibly moving on with someone, but everyone knows that she's not over Blake. I couldn't make up my mind if I wanted her to get over him and move on especially because things ended because of her, or if I wanted Blake to still love her and want to be with her, even after 4 years.

There were some heard moments, but overall I can't help but to feel like this coils possibly be all talk and no delivery.

I can't believe the cliffhanger that happened here. It was like reading in the middle of a paragraph and then someone just closed the book.

I hope I can come to feel more for the story and the characters before the series is over.

Our heroine is so.stuck

It is never easy when characters are caught in a web of their own making. Lena is so stuck in the chaos is the consequences of her choices. And as I have often commented, serialized stories just don't give readers much for their money. On so many levels I regret getting started on this one. Also, not much movement for Lena as she needs to find a new direction for her life and love. Forth some pages doesn't seem provide much space to move her story along. There are times in the story that all the characters seem quite immature, especially the soon to be stepmother. Will I or will I not continue on?

Wow! Where do I even start? This was a very smooth quick read for me. I WANT MORE! Please? Now would be great! I loved the characters. Author Morgan Black did a great job of staying true to each character's unique personality. The book had an awesome story line and all I've got to say is - The ending?!!! I wasn't ready! I swear I wasn't ready for it to end. I can not wait to read the next book. I really want to know what happens next. Talk about a cliffhanger!! Great book. I would definitely recommend you check this one out :)

Gotta say that I wanted to get involved in another book series like I wanted to shove lit firecrackers in my eyes BUT...I couldn't resist once I got a taste of Misconception from the Seven Dirty Sins Box Set...those Finnegan hotties were just too much hotness...Deception was a keeper...was reading it while getting my nails done and totally ignored my nail guy because I wouldn't put it down...I just keep wanting more...wish I could have it now...I'm just an instant gratification kind of girl!!

**I received this book as an ARC, in exchange for an honest review**

Really liking this series, picks up right after the cliffy of book 1 and also ends with a cliffy but you know this going in so some readers just like to be complainers. Lena is a mess in my eyes and really makes things worse for herself and I am really sure Slade has liked/loved her from day one. Can't wait for book 3.

I received an ARC from Netgalley in exchange for a honest review.

This book leaves off from Misconception, and things do get a little bumpy for Lena. She meets someone new and she's happy for once. Then people find out about her little secret. I was mad when I got to the end because I want to know what happened.

I hope the next book will be longer because I need to know what is going on. The book was good, I just want it longer.

Oye, Serials will be the death of me one of these days with the cliff hangers and the waiting.

Lena's deception is out in the air now. She has come clean to Blake about what happened with Slade well sorta. She got busted. But now things are.......well different. Blake closed off and then played a it's okay card?

Slade seems to be the one taking it the hardest. Why well not sure. It was good and I did enjoy it.

Well... a lot has happened in this latest book. Lena meets Micah and there is another party on the beach. With that cliffhanger- one can only imagine what Slade has done now.

This was a cute little series. It was nice to see a young loves find their way back to each other. This was a great quick read. Not much story line to it but fun to read anyways.
