If you're just starting out to run and need few guidelines to move forward and get some motivation,this book does the job well.The training plans are laid out well,but not in detail.would have liked some details on exercises in Strength training,core etc
I have been running for a few years and have been forced to take a year off due to injury. I'm starting back and wanted to try a new training plan. I should have known better than to try to find one in a book. This basically tells you the simple dos and don't s of running and how to train for a race. Not a bad read if you have never run before. Not good for for runners with experience.
