Bodie I’ve surfed the world’s biggest, scariest waves. But I’ve never felt so afraid. I didn’t want to get involved. In fact, I pleaded with my Ex to keep me out of his dodgy dealings. But he didn’t, and now I’m paying the price. I’m broke, alone, and on the run. How can Henry expect me to trust him? He’s a stranger I met in a small-town bar – and I’m all done with men. But somehow Henry knows I need him. And he knows my biggest secret too…
Henry The most brutal Night Ops assignment of my life nearly finished me. Now it’s time for some rest and relaxation. But then I see him. The boy’s spooked, nervous, and keeps checking over his shoulder. I know the signs. He’s in trouble. Serious trouble. But he’s a lot more than that too. Bodie needs a Daddy. And I need to heal myself. The boy might not like me. In fact, I think he might even hate me right now. But I’m going to protect him whether he likes it or not. And when I’m done, I’ll retreat into the darkness just like I always do – with or without him.
I love to write sweet, sexy M/M Age Play Romance. Amazing characters, great settings, and exciting plots make my heart race! When I'm not crafting kinky tales in my rustic shack, I love to hit the gym, cuddle up with my cats, Mustache and Dojo, and cook deliciously large portions of yummy food!
Make me happy by chatting to me about coffee, cats, and Happy Ever Afters...
If you like your daddies big/bad/no nonsense with a touch of grump...then this romance is for you. Henry is all that and much more. When he sees Bodie and figured out instantly that he was in trouble with a capital T, his daddy instincts kicks in and full non stop, helps the surfer boy little. Bodie has sass but he's just a little looking to live his life free but could stand to have a daddy with guidance and rules. Their first meet was a bumpy but all was good when trust was hard earned and love prevail. Bad guys were neutralized and there was a lovely HEA. NICE...highly recommend!
I received a copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
Bodie is on the run from his ex when he realizes how bad of a guy he really is. Henry is on a much-needed break after his last mission with the Night Ops. When their paths cross in a bar, Henry's daddy instincts kick in to protect Bodie from who or what he's running from. Bodie isn't having it. The push and pull of these two was fun, yet I couldn't feel the spark of these men. The action was fun and kept you interested in more and yet again felt like it wasn't quite enough. This was my second book from this author and that seems to be an underlying problem in their writing at least for me.

So I love this series. This was a great second book in the Night Ops Daddies Series
Zach Wish is a new author to me. This is the 2nd book I've ever read. I really enjoy the writing style.
This starts out with Bodie, a sweet little who is also a surfer on the run from his ex. A very bad man out to get him.
“It’s such a small thing, but it feels huge, like he’s seeing my Little side and not just accepting it but wanting it.”
Bodie runs into Henry and Henry can tell he needs help. His daddy Night Ops instincts kicking in.
Naturally Bodie gives a little bratty sass and naturally Henry takes that brat lol. I love it.
Henry tries to resist his urges towards Bodie. But he just can't. Bodie is his perfect fit. His perfect little.
“Most Littles can’t handle my life. I don’t blame them— sometimes I don’t even think I can handle it.”
Henry carries some trauma from his past missions. Its hard for him to let go and move forward.
We also get some action and we get to see Cole and Richie from the first book Daddy Protector.
“I love you more than anything in this world. I’m proud to call you my Little, my Forever boy. I’ll always come back to you, no matter where the Guard takes me. Promise.”
I loved this A sweet, fun, banter filled, action packed Daddy finding his forever boy story.
Sigh! Gave book 2 a chance after not enjoying book 1. But the same issues (lack of depth, feelings of fetishization, unlikable characters) were present in this one. I think this author/style of writing is not for me.
Daddy Defender is the second book in the Night Ops Daddies series. This is the DD/B story. This is the story of Bodie and Henry. This is another cute story with two wonderful main characters. I loved watching these two figure things out especially since Bodie has such little trust. The plot was interesting with enough action and conflict to keep me turning the page. I can't wait for the next book in the series. I would definitely recommend this book and series. received a free review copy
Daddy Defender by Zack Wish is the second book in his Night Op Daddies series. It is the story of a Boy who is on the run from men who want to kill him and the soldier Daddy that finds and protects him and desperately want him for his forever Boy. Henry works for the Night Ops Guards who go on dangerous missions all over the world and often finds himself thinking about past missions, one in particular where a friend died. He is also a Daddy and wants to find a Boy of his own, just like his Night Ops friend, Cole has found. Unfortunately, most of the Boys he has met don’t stick around when they learn what his job is and that he goes into danger each time he leaves, not knowing if he’ll make it back. He is relaxing at home at his cottage on the beach in Sunny Ferns after a mission and is having a drink at the local bar when he notices a young man who seems to be very on edge. Bodie is a Boy who loves to surf and is doing well for himself. He left college and has traveled the coasts in his van, Shred, along with Poot, his walrus stuffie, looking for great waves so he can feel the freedom surfing gives him. But then he ran into Vince at a contest who took an interest in him and they became boyfriends. Things started changing when he realized Vince was deep into criminal activities and when he found a ledger in his desk with names, dates, and shipments he realized how bad it was. He wanted to leave but Vince had implicated him in some of what went down and he also said no one could escape him. But Bodie left anyway and was moving from place to place hoping that he wouldn’t be found. When he was in the bar in Sunny Ferns, he got a message that Vince knew where he was and he was coming for him. That is when Henry saw him and being a Night Ops Guard he knew the signs that something was wrong so he tried to see what was going on with him. Bodie talked to him but told him to leave him alone because he was spooked and didn’t trust anyone, especially a man he didn’t know. He left and found a place along the highway to sleep before moving on. Henry didn’t like what he heard and figured out where he was staying and followed him. When he found Shred, he also saw a black truck staking it out so he got Bodie and they left for a safe house. He called his other Night Ops Guard friends, Cole and Connor, and they were getting intel for him. Bodie was not having any of this and tried to do what he wanted, but Henry held firm and when he disregarded his rules, a few spankings took place, which Bodie secretly liked because no one had ever given him rules or protected him like that. They had to move to another safe house and as time went on Bodie was learning to trust Henry and find out what a good Daddy, protector, and caretaker he was. But Vince wasn’t giving up and had the cartel he worked for looking for Bodie and trying to kill him. Henry was doing everything he could to protect him and this finally led to a kiss and some hot love scenes as they were falling for each other. Things finally came to a head when Henry and the other guys decided that they needed to lure Vince out in the open so they could involve the police and arrest him and this led to a very epic and suspenseful scene as everything went down with lots of bullets, killing, and being outnumbered, but the Night Ops Guards came through. When it was over Henry found Bodie and the had a wonderful reunion and decided that they were going to be each other’s forever. Bodie also met and liked Cole’s Boy and they became good friends and when their Daddies went on missions they would be with each other and lend each other their support as they waited for them to come home. I enjoyed this story. It was action packed all the way through as you wondered how Bodie and Henry were going to get away from Vince. Bodie liked to cause mischief and do what he wanted to do, but Henry was able to finally convince him to follow his rules to stay safe, even if it involved some spankings. He also had to learn to trust Henry which took a while but once he did, he knew he made the right decision. Henry was a Daddy through and through and luckily had the training to keep Bodie safe, even though he sometimes had to fight with him to do what he said. There were some sweet scenes with Bodie being little and the stuffies were a big part of that. Henry’s fellow soldiers also helped to make sure everything went their way, especially when they were fighting the cartel. I recommend this book, especially if you like Daddy/Boy stories about a Boy who is running away from danger and the Daddy who saves him and makes him his.
Bodie is on the run from his ex boyfriend, Vince. He did not know what Vince was doing and once he figured it out he needed to figure out how to escape and fast. He is a simple surfer who loves the ocean, juice boxes and stuffies. When he heads away in the middle of the night he just needs his van "Shred" so hold together to get him to freedom. Once he gets a safe space away he stops for a drink at the local dive. But soon he gets a message from his ex stating he knows what town he is in. Scaring Bodie even more, Bodie decides to take his van to the beach and try to hide away from it all. What he does not know is that someone/s is watching him.
Henry is trying to get over one of his hardest jobs he has ever had to do. He escapes to the only place that felt like home to him. He has a small place and no one knows who he is. But at the bar he sees something that gets his attention. A young man who looks terrified. That only gets worse when he reads something on his phone. He believes he can help. but when the young man says no thank you and makes a run for it, Henry lets him go. Ordering another drink he decides to sit back, but he knows better and soon he heads out looking for the young man. When he finally finds him he quickly realizes he was correct. There is someone else watching him. Henry decides to find out who it is and is not surprised they take off. But it is bad enough for Henry to jump into "Shred" and try to get Bodie to safety. He does notice what Bodie is wearing, and who he has with him. He also hears the playing that soothes poor Bodie.
How long does it take for Henry to find out what trouble Bodie is in? Can Henry call in his friends for help? Does Bodie make a run for the water while Henry is occupied? Will Bodie end up being punished as only a little can? Does Henry and his friends take on Bodie's Ex? Do they have to use Bodie as bait?
I did like this book more than book 1 but I think there is so much more that can be written in these. With that said I will keep following to read the rest of the series.
4.5 stars This is the second book in the Night Ops Guard series, featuring Guardsman Henry and Bodie, a surfer little who is being targeted by his ex and the cartel. When Henry notices Bodie in a bar, picking up on the signs that he is frightened and a recent text has spooked him, Henry offers help, which Bodie initially ignores. When Henry interrupts an attempt on Bodie’s life, Bodie accepts Henry’s help, even though trust is hard to come by, and the chase is on. Eluding the ex, Vincent, and the cartel is not easy, and Henry and Bodie need to move around quite a bit. Luckily, Guardsmen Cole (from book 1) and Connor (book 3) are available to help Henry protect Bodie, leading up to the showdown. There is a lot of action in the book, and the story is more developed than some of Zack’s shorter ones. Lots of Daddy/little dynamic, but not as many of the hot spicy scenes as I’m used to with Zack’s books, but more emphasis on the emotional sides of trust and building that lasting connection to see them through after the crisis is over. Both characters are relatable and draw the reader into their relationship as Henry uses his Daddy vibes (and occasional “discipline”) to get Bodie to take the danger seriously, while Bodie has to balance his little side longing for protection and his big side wanting to be independent and prove he can take care of himself. The story develops naturally and does end in the HEA I expect from Zack. I do enjoy this series and look forward to Connor’s book. If you are a fan of Zack’s shorter books, I think this longer series would also appeal. I received an advance copy and this is my voluntary review.
Daddy Defender is the second book of the Night Ops Daddies series and I enjoyed it a lot! From start to finish, it kept me hooked because there were so many moments that pulled me in. Daddy Henry is just so hot, and honestly, I super love him every scene with him made me fall harder. Another thing I liked best was that he defended Bodie despite knowing him very well at all. It demonstrated that he is not only a powerful character, but a real protector whom you can respect and believe in.
Bodie himself is also quite endearing he has this childlike feel to his personality that gives so much appeal to the story. It was encouraging and thrilling to see the bond between him and Daddy Henry develop. And I must confess I truly liked his Walrus as well all the fun and light-heartedness it introduced to the story made it serious. Also, just to say, Vince, f** you hahah! He did annoy me alright, and that is a testament to the effectiveness of the characters.
In my case, Daddy Defender is the type of book you cannot put down as it is the ideal combination of passion, protection, and emotion. It really became one of my favorites now solid, heart-woven, with a little bit of humor in it, and a story that really made a impression on me. Highly recommended.
I received an Advanced Reader Copy and am voluntarily reviewing it. We are back with the Night Ops Guards. Henry notices Bodie right away. Bodie is running scared. His last boyfriend got him involved in some serious mess. Bodie is just trying to stay alive and surf which is what lead him to the small beach town. Somehow his ex, Vince Gray, knows where he is. Henry can see right away that Bodie is scared. Things get tense when they walk outside and someone starts shooting at them. Vince wants, no needs, Bodie gone and is working to make that happen as soon as possible. Henry's Night Ops training kicks in. He can't let this cute surfer boy fight this battle on his own.
This book takes readers on an adventure. Yes, we will see some characters we have met in previous books in this series. I always love seeing characters that I feel like I know. Of course, Henry enlists the help of other Night Ops Guards. Vince has one goal and Henry refuses to let that goal come to fruition. Though Bodie is a brat, Henry realizes he doesn't mind. In fact, he quite likes Bodie's sassy little side coming out to play. Bodie's little side was forced to be hidden while with his ex. Bodie refuses to hide that part of himself again. Henry has some serious guilt over some Night Ops missions. Can they get over their hurt to form a new bond? Before anything can happen they have to get rid of the looming threat of Vince. Will the Night Ops Guards come out on top this time?
This is the second book in the Night Ops Daddies series and it can be enjoyed as a standalone read. I enjoyed this book. This is the story of Henry and Bodie. Henry is back in Sunny Ferns trying to reset after an operation went south. He is a Night Op Guard and also a daddy. He hasn't found the perfect boy for himself yet. Bodie is a surfer and a little. He and his favourite stuffy Poot the walrus are on the run from his ex Vince. When Bodie found out about Vince's criminal activity and how he tried to implicate Bodie so that he could control him; Bodie is trying to escape. He and Poot are in his well used van "Shred" on the run. Stopping in Sunny Ferns, Henry sees Bodie and recognizes what Bodie is trying to hide. He is frightened and on the run. Bodie rejects his offer of help and protection. But being a Night Op, Henry checks up on Bodie just to make sure he is safe and ends up saving his life. The sassy little and the grumpy daddy are then on the run together. This is their story. The book is written well and is easy to read. I received a complementary copy of this book from GRR and I am voluntarily leaving a review. With plenty of action, this is a sweet and fun story. The sass makes it even better. I am looking forward to the next book in this series.
I did like this one, but I think I enjoyed the first book in the series more. Daddy Defender has all the right ingredients—hurt/comfort, protective Daddy, danger, and tension—but some of the execution pulled me out of the story.
Bodie’s backstory is heartbreaking, and I liked how vulnerable yet resilient he was. Henry is exactly the kind of steady, protective presence you expect in this kind of dynamic, and the chemistry between them worked. The Daddy/boy relationship had some sweet moments alongside the action and suspense.
That said, there were a few conflicting details that didn’t sit right—things that felt like such elite operatives wouldn’t have missed or would have been better prepared for. It made some of the plot points harder to buy into. Still, the pacing kept me turning the pages, and I’d definitely pick up the next book to see where Zack Wish takes the series.
Tropes: Daddy/boy · hurt/comfort · protector romance · ex-military hero · found family vibes Content Warnings: violence, on-page danger, past toxic relationship, trauma mentions
I received this book through GRR for my honest review.
Daddy Defender is book two in Zack Wish's Night Ops Daddies series. Brodie is on the run from his controlling ex. Henry is burnt out after a difficult mission. They meet in a seedy bar, Henry recognizes the look in Brodie's eyes, and it brings out all his alpha protector a-holeness. The story is dual point of view. We find out that Henry is conflicted. Protect the man. Or daddy his Little. We know he's conflicted because he mentions it. Several times, each chapter. He also blames himself for everything that ever went wrong mission-wise. When Brodie isn't worried about being killed by Vince, he's usually Little. No character I've ever read could drop into.... and out of Little space as fast. Or as often. There's some lite sizzle, a hot kiss or two. The book is 3/4ths done before any steamy action occurs. The action, a shootout, is fairly intense. Short, but gripping. It was a quick read. Fun. An improbable HEA. Yes, I think I will read Connor's story which will end this trio. I received an advanced copy from GRR and this is my review.
This is a Great Story to Read!! Bodie is a twenty-three year old Surfer and Little. Bodie travels to the Coast to Surf when ever he can. Bodie is trying to get to Sunny Ferns before he runs out of gas. Bodie hopes he can relax and surf some before he is found again. Vance Gray is a bad guy and has threatened Bodie several times and is now trying to find him and make him pay for leaving. Henry is part of the Night OPs Guard and a Daddy. He is back in Sunny Ferns to rest and recoup from the last mission he was on. Henry sees Bodie is spooked and tries to help but Bodie runs away. Henry goes after him and when he finds Bodie there is a big black truck watching Bodies van. Bodie is tight lipped about who is after him. After making it to a safehouse Bodie gives Henry a name. Will Henry be able to keep Bodie safe from Vance?? After getting the information he needs Henry calls in reinforcements and they will try and take care of the problem. Will Henry survive the trap????.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I loved this book. I am glad that it is part of the series and each book is by a different author and Zack nailed it with this book.
Henry runs into Bodie at a bar and he can tell that Bodie is running from something or someone as his daddy instincts kick in and he will do everything he can to protect Bodie even if he doesn't ask for it. Bodie isn't sure what to make of Henry and not sure why a stranger would want to help him but he starts to feel safe with Henry. The first time Henry rescues him, he knows that if he doesn't keep him, he will end up in a worse situation.
Henry has always been wanting a perfect little for himself however none of the ones he has found can handle what he does for a living. He really hopes that the little he sees inside Bodie is the one for him and that Bodie can handle what Henry does.
Such a great story and so loved how it all played out. I loved how these two came together and how they stuck with each other through everything.
I received an ARC through GRR and this is my honest review.
Review: Bodie is on the run form his ex and it takes him a while to get in how much trouble he is. At first he doesn't trust Henry, which I completly get, because Bodie just came out a bad relationship and at first glance Henry and his ex kinda seem the same type. Eventually Bodie starts to trust him and they go into hiding together, while Henry is protecting Bodie. I really liked the book and the story, but the constant use of the two sides of the main characters got kinda irritating at some point. It was always: my little side vs. my grown up side and my daddy side vs. my Guard side. I mean I kinda get you can have two sides, but you don't have to say it constantly. But I really liked the story so that's why I kept reading.
Tropes: 🧸Age play 🏄♂️Grumpy x sunshine 🧸Daddy x Little 🏄♂️Spanking 🧸Military romance
I recieved an ARC, but this is my honest opinion. Thank you to GRR and Zack Wish for the ARC. I enjoyed reading it.
'I let him go, but as he steps into the night, I’m already moving, my boots crunching on the gravel behind him. Not too close, not crowding, but there. He’s in trouble, and I’m not letting him face it alone. Not on my watch. That’s simply not how a Night Ops Guard Daddy goes about his business…'
I really enjoyed this book. It was a sweet fast-paced romance. I loved both Henry and Bodie. Bodie's horrible ex sabotaged him, and now he's running for his life, has his walls up, and is scared and unsure what to do. I don't blame him for not trusting Henry- of any man after what he's dealing with. But in his line of work, Henry recognized the signs, and followed his instincts, not giving up even as Bodie pushed him away and told him to leave him alone. I liked the pacing of this story- suspenseful, waiting for the something bad to finally happen while Henry tries to protect Bodie, who stubbornly pushes back. I really liked the flashbacks to give us some of their history. 4 stars
Amazing second book of the Night Ops Guard Daddies! At first Bodie struck me as an empathetic character - someone who got shoved into something he didn't choose. As he continued his bratty and belligerent behavior though, I SMH and gave props to Henry for his patience. They say some Daddies go for the brats... must be true. Anyway, while both determined to avoid personal involvement, the dangerousness of their situation continued to escalate, bringing in Henry's brothers. That's when the action really heats up. Oh yeah, there's plenty of action, suspence, drama, and of course steam (despite their stated 'attempts'). You'll be glued to your Kindle way past your bedtime wanting to find out how everything eventually lays out... I know I was. Enjoy!
I voluntarily reviewed a gift copy of this book. Happy Reading Y'all 📚
When I finished the first volume in the night ops daddies series, I think I had rose colored glasses on about the whole thing. That's the only thing that can make sense when it comes down to why I snagged the arc for the next book in the series. Perhaps also hoping that as the series developed more I would mesh better with it. All of that said, the book isn't bad really but I'll admit it feels like we never get far beyond surface level with the characters.
Bodie and Henry should stir some sort of emotion in you when you learn more about their stories, but I had a hard time with it. I wish I could say I enjoyed this one more, but it was mostly just determination and stubbornness that got me through the end of the story. Felt a bit like a rice cake level read- edible, satiating enough, but not particularly exciting.
Book 2 is Henry's turn to get a boy in Bodie, who is on the run from his drug dealer ex. The focus is more on the daddy/boy relationship building between the two than the danger/suspense element of the storyline. As with book 1 I do question how good the Nights Ops Daddies are at their elite contractor operatives role. I mean, a safehouse without basics like towels and emergency rations? Then a supply run that consists of buying food for exactly one meal, necessitating another food run the next day when they are supposed to be laying low? So it was ok. I would like it if these books showed a bit more of the boy's functioning adult personalities and skills as well, rather than keeping them as littles pretty much entirely.
This was a cute read! This is book2 in the series Night Ops Daddies, and I loved it quite a bit more than the first. We didn't go quite as heavily into the military backstories of the Night ops, and I felt the story was a bit easier to follow. I loved the instant connection I felt between characters when Henry went strait into protector mode of Bodie. I loved the camo appearance of Cole and Ritchie, and that Bodie got to have a bit of "friend stopped by" interaction. I loved that the little space was explained a bit more in normal tones for those of us new to the trope. For example, instead of coloring we are introduced by way of "sketch book and color pencils". I rated 4 starts as the book checked many boxes that my traditional romances check as well. I am quite a bit newer to the little space reads.
Bodie is on the run from a ex who is also a really bad guy. Being a little and a surfer boy is all he wants. Riding the waves and playing with Poot, his stuffy is what he loves, but he needs a Daddy who will put up with his sass.
Henry is a Daddy, but he’s also part of the Guard, special ops, protector… a Night Ops Daddy. Seeing Bodie in a bar, scared and looking over his shoulder, Henry sees he’s a little too.
After getting shot at, being chased by bad guys, and keeping his boy safe is now Henry’s responsibility. Getting help from his fellow Night Ops Daddies has Henry keeping Bodie safe!
Sexy times, play times, and surf times!.

A great book two to a great series. If you are looking for a book filled with action, intensity, romance, and emotions, this is the perfect book. Bodie, the young surfer, is on the run, scared and trying to outrun some things from his past. He meets Henry, Night Op Guard, in bar and the fun begins. Henry is a born protector in his job and his personal life. He fast sees that Bodie needs a Daddy and Henry is the perfect Daddy to protect and care for Bodie. I love that characters from book one show up so I would suggest reading the books in order, and be prepared for few things that might trigger you, ie. bad ex boyfriends, shooting but they do not frame the book--the relationship between this little and his daddy take center stage. I did receive an ARC and leave this honest review.
Daddy Defender by Zack Wish was such a fun, action-packed, and surprisingly sweet read! If you like your Daddies big, bad, and no-nonsense with just a touch of grump, Henry is your guy. When he crosses paths with Bodie, a sassy surfer boy on the run from a dangerous ex...his protective instincts kick in fast.
I loved watching these two find trust and build something real. Bodie’s sass meets Henry’s discipline in the best way, and their chemistry absolutely works. Between the danger, the sweet care, and the perfect dose of heat, this one kept me turning pages.
Action, age-play, spanking, and a solid grumpy/sunshine vibe...Daddy Defender has it all. A great follow-up in the Night Ops Daddies series and one I highly recommend!
Daddy Defender is about Bodie, who is running away from his ex-boyfriend and Henry who is in the Night Ops.
Bodie is running away from his ex-boyfriend who was dealing some dodgy things, he meets Henry at the bar when Bodie gets message from his ex, that says that he will find Bodie. Henry wants to protect Bodie, so when the bad guys finds Bodie, Henry and Bodie start their journey to different safe houses.
It was good but there was elements I didn't like. This is second book of the series but can read as a standalone.
------------------------------------------------- I received a copy of this book, and this is my honest review
Great adventure! Bodie, is a surfer extraordinaire. He is determined and brave. Then his latest boyfriend turned out to be not a nice guy. Bodie, goes on the run determined to handle his own drama. Henry, is off his latest Night Ops assignment, maybe suffering from a little PTSD. He notices Bodie and assesses him as a man in trouble needing protection. They connect by default and go on an adventure that has Bodie and Henry learning a lot about themselves and each other and redefining their roles in life. Good flow, exciting adventure, good challenges. It was great seeing Ritchie and Cole again. Nicely done. I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This book was definitely better than the first one in the series. The pacing was better, plot points not as repetitive and I enjoyed the daddy kink better 🙂↕️
The problem I had with the first book was that the characters (ahem, Richie) were stupid in trying to solve the problems by themselves, but here I appreciated Bodie realising he needed Henry's help.
Maybe the "final battle" could've been a bit more impactful, but I'm not gonna hold my pet peeves against the book.
All in all, nothing truly bad to say about the book! Will definitely read more from this author!
I loved Bodie and Henry's story, it had all of the ingredients to be a great Dd/lb story! You have a scared Bodie on the run from evil ex, and a special forces/mercenary come to save him and protect both the man and the little within. There are some little inconsistencies/plot holes but over all great story. I didn't realize this was a second book in a series when I started it. I liked it enough to want to go back to read the first, but this book can be read as a stand alone.
I was given an advanced copy for my honest review.
Bodie is on the run for his ex, he knows too much and could be dangerous if the feds find him. He comes across Henry, he does not trust himself to think that he can help, that is what got him in this mess.
Henry is Night Ops and has been looking for his forever baby boy, it never works out due to his job. When he sees Bodie, he knows he is running from someone and he just wants to help. The more time he spends with him, the more he is convinced that Bodie is for him.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is the second book in the “Night Ops” series. All about Daddies and their found boys. This time Brodie is in trouble from his EX that is a bit on the gray side. Henry meets Brodie and instantly can tell he needs Henry’s special skills for protection. Brodie hesitates to take Henry up on his offer until he is in some serious trouble. We get to see the guys from the previous book and it was nice to catch up with everyone. I highly recommend this book and series if you love protective daddies and their (sometimes) bratty boys. Enjoy!
