BORN JUST outside of Gunnison, Colorado in a government research facility called Area 52.5, (truth be told, Mom, a government astrophysicist, was in her last trimester at Area 51 when she was abruptly transferred), Jax Spenser spent his early years wondering if Dad was the meek and mild-mannered man living at home or if he really existed in the distant twinkle of a far off alien’s gaze.

AFTER AN AWAKENING during his teen years (some would call it puberty packing a lead pipe), Jax spent the rest of his life filled with the absolute belief that not only was the truth out there but that his real father looked proudly down on him in hopes that his baby boy Jax would one day find his way back to whatever distant corner of the Universe Pops beamed in from. Love this first person sort of thang. I really feel I've got a seat on some roller coaster. First book was a slow burn (weird stranger in car) and good but now it's really rockin'.

Someone mentioned too short in their review. Uh, I think this is like short format, right? Didn't have a prob with it. Not for the price of a buck.

Highlights: creepy weird town were they're quoting musicals I think, mysteries a plenty-- what's in that drain?!, young love with Lizzy girl. Luv!

A really suspenseful series but would prefer it as one book as it stops the flow when each short novel ends.

This is another fun read. Hide 2 continues to set up the story while maintaining its' mystery. You find yourself connecting with our troubled hero, Keegan as he struggles with his own problems and realizes that his surroundings are somehow strange and certainly dangerous. There are many pieces to the puzzle that keep you on the edge of your seat and the story leaves you hoping Keegan can hold on until Hide 3 is released.

I enjoyed part 1 of this series in novella format, and part 2 is equally as intriguing, unsettling, and eerie. I really want to find out more about Keegan and his new environment, Sedonia Falls. In this installment he finds himself with a popular girl, a social status he didn’t expect, and a formidable enemy.

I really like the book so far but each episode leaves more questions and never answers any of the other ones. I'm going to read the next one because the writing is good and easy to follow. But if I don't get more of a grasp after that one I probably won't read anymore after that.

There's so much going on in the small town of Sedonia Falls. No one acts normal. Oh, we can only guess why! I can feel the tension as I read just waiting for an answer to the mystery. There's so much more I need to know. On to book 3!

An intriguing storyline but irritating to still have no idea what is going on at the end of book two. It's just a lure to keep you paying for episodes!
