The next book in the Winnie and Crela series, this book switches POVs and lets us find out a bit more about Winnie and how she feels about her ghoulfriend. While still very short, I really enjoyed that this story reveals more about the world Winnie and Crela live in and what Winnie's life looks like outside the cemetery. I also liked that we got to know more about Winnie's scientific background, which was fascinating. Their relationship is also slowly growing more intimate, which I enjoyed and I'm excited to read the next short in this story. As before, this is a very sweet romance, with two very sweet main characters and I enjoyed reading it a lot.
TW: some descriptions of an autopsy and viscera, mention of potential sexual assault (very minor detail)

Weeping Willow focuses a bit more on Winnie and her feelings than Book 1 did and I enjoyed that immensely. Winnie comes across as very confident in herself in book one whereas in this one we get to see her insecurities in terms of how Crela sees her and her fears in terms of the relationship she has found herself in.
We also see her absolutely admit that she isn't just attracted to Crela she *wants* Crela in a way that Winnie didn't even believe she was capable of. And with Crela being undead one would think there would be some fear attached to this but there's not, it's joy. It's like she's figured out that just because she isn't attracted to men it doesn't mean she's incapable of lust. And I love that for her.
Off to read book three and then probably four since I believe it's for free on Itch right now! Of course, I have no idea what I'll do with/ my life I am caught up in this series!

4 stars. This was even better than the first one. Crela and Winnie are just so great together. I love them and this one even had a sex scene. I honestly had no idea how that was going to work but Finn pulled it off. Loving this series so far.
