That’s what Simon and Cherish signed up for. Having come from the high of their first year together with newborns, dirty diapers, leaning on each other, and falling in love, they built a deep foundation for their unique little family. The kids were sleeping through the night, growing bigger every day, and their parents were comfortable in a set routine. All was perfect. Then…walking was thrown in the mix, a troublesome phone call from Simon’s job, and outsiders with scattered opinions on their relationship came to the light. With neither one willing to deter from standing with the other, this only invites secrets long buried to the light. While wading through the waters of life together, Simon and Cherish must stand tall for their beliefs, their love, and ultimately, their family.
Eva Morian, one half of the newly established Morian & Watson partnership, was born, raised, and currently lives in Florida with her husband, their daughter, and the abandoned cat. Together, she and Madeline write graphic, Indie stories of all walks. Never one to stay in a single genre and write the hell out of it, Eva will always push the boundaries to bring the intricate worlds and storylines she's created to life.
I love this book series. I really enjoyed how the authors paced Cherish and Simon’s relationship development. I’m bummed that the next one won’t be released until the fall. Their relationship is simple but engaging.
The author is a wickedly good storyteller. Her continuation of this surreal tale hit it on all cylinders.
There were more dramatic, more suspense and more chaos in the second installment and enjoy reading every minute of it.
The young couple must learn to Maneuver and face the challenges coming their way.
Simon is more stress than ever and Cherish is on the edge.
The duo fought hard to keep everything together and in the process solidify their relationship.
Again the author did an excellent job of penning a story that is relatable. She made them raw and strip them naked of their identity molding them into who they were starting to be. Their emotions were felt thru the Kindle screen. I enjoy them, it was real. The grief they suffered I felt it deep in my soul.
Once more, great job by this amazing author and her out of this world penmanship. I’m looking forward to reading more of her glorious work.
Yes, another recommendation that will leave you breathless and emotional wreck.
The story continues. Cherish and Simon's relationship has grown leaps and bounds. They're no longer just co-parenting. They decide to move forward with becoming an official family by co-adoption. They're on a loving supportive relationship and she's loved and accepted part of the family. Everything's great The End right? Nope t this book introduces a lot of outside influences and not all of the positive. First is Susan introduced in book one. Not only is she scheming for Simon. But I get the feeling that she's behind all of the trouble at his job. Then there's Jim who was his first wife Emily's brother. He is also secretly in love with Simon. But no one know he's gay but Simon. He's trying to turn the whole family against the couple. DAMN Simon you got it like that?
But Cherish also has an admirer. Adam from Simon's job likes her.
Away from all of that the couple continue to grow. Cherish finally realizes that she doesn't want to work dead end jobs just to pull her own weight. She decides to go back to school. I love Simon's support throughout. And that's what I love about this story. They support each other day ONE.
I'm officially addicted. And as the pressure builds I can't wait for the next book.

I absolutely love this family! Everyone is hilarious even the babies. The flow of the couple's lives is believable as in they could be people you actually know. Cherish's maturity is refreshing because her age & unbringing would have said it would be otherwise. Finding out about how deep James & Susan's obsessions were with Simon was a shock especially to the extent Susan went. I can't believe I have to wait close to a year for the next installment of the series but I am beyond ready.
I was so happy to be able to read books one and two back to back. Now I’m going to have to wait to read about Cherish and Simon and their next adventures. This lovely couple had more than their share of trials and tribulations, however, they were able to overcome and adapt and move on. One of the things, I like most about them is that they did not let things fester. Whenever there was a problem or misunderstanding they took care of it almost immediately. I tried to guess what Jim’s problem was but I really had no idea that he was in love with Simon. I even speculated that somehow he was Junior‘s father but I was so wrong. And the grandparents are the nicest ever created. The last scene was truly Chilling..... I knew that Susan was a fool and that she was needy I had no idea she would turn out to be this crazy. To have stalked him for YEARS. Please don’t let her hurt them too badly. AND PLEASE, PLEASE LET THEM KNOW THE DEVIL SHE IS... This was a free book with kindle unlimited....like the first one I am now going to add it to my library....at 2.99 it is a bargain.
I really enjoyed this series. Can't wait for the next book just hope Marie and Susan don't win! I loved the chemistry between Simon and Cherish! They really finally needs to have a happy ending without more sadness! Susan ska Catherine needs to get hers and I don't mean flowers or a reward! I highly recommend this series these are good books. This is my first book by this author and I really like her books.
Good Lord, talk about a great continuation of the first book. When I read in the summary that a secret would be revealed, I was certain that the secret was Jim being in love with Emily. Good Lord.....I was wrong...so very wrong. The true secret had my jaw in my lap! And we still have to deal with Susan/Catherine's crazy self. Eva, I beg of you....be gentle with my heart in the next book...please!!!
This has to be ONE of the best books I have ever read including the first book. I Loved the pace and how the story unraveled, it was so Natural. All the characters were Fabulous...I'm so excited that there will be a book 3 coming, hopefully the wait won't be long. The writer(s) are very TALENTED!!
Something told me not to reas this book until the near one was out in the series. But no I just couldn’t wait. Lol. Jokes on me I have no choice but to wait now. What a cliff hanger this book left off on. Normally I don’t like cliff hangers but this one...... I’m in tears with anticipation.
Well written would love to see more awesome writing. The story was so compelling totally so into the lifestyle of the characters and the challenges they faced.
Oh my gosh, the plot got so much thicker and I loved every minute of it.
Now that they got out of the grieving stage as they both were going through and settled on their feelings. I love their dynamic.
I also feel that Simon cannot pick up social cues, but I’m loving the consequences of that. Susan is getting on my nerves and I’m loving the attention. She’s bringing even win the person that is supposed to know or have an inkling has no idea just very clueless.
I love the plot at the end because I had no idea that person is crazy like I thought they were just desperate, but this is on a whole level. I mean a new level of desperation and I’m trying to figure out what they have in store in the next book.
This book was just as good as the first one. While the first book was filled with grief, abandonment, and eventually new beginnings. This second book was filled more with scandal, insecurities, and even more new beginnings. This book was also a little more faster paced than the previous one, but not in a way that the story felt rushed. Ms. Morian and Ms. Watson are great at pacing their story.
As I stated in my previous review of the first book, Ms. Morian and Ms. Watson do a good job of making the story feel realistic as opposed to being fictional. I enjoy that the story doesn't have one sole antagonist, because it adds layers to the story.
I enjoyed getting to know more of Simon's extended family. It was interesting to learn more about Simon and Jim's history, how it affected Simon and Emily's relationship, and ultimately how it is currently affecting his and Cherish's relationship. I'm glad to see that Simon is starting to realize how much stress Susan was putting on his relationship with Cherish and that he is going to be more cautious around her.
However, I'm concerned about the new information we received about "Susan". What type of trouble is she about to stir up? Why has she been hiding her true identity? Has she been stalking him for five years, and underwent three surgeries to look like Emily? Why did you have to end the story there Ms. Morian and Ms. Watson? Why must you torture me so? 😭🤣
I can't wait for the next book to come out. Do I really have to wait until May 1, 2021? 😑😟
This was another momentous year for the Simon and Cherish!
This was another year of learning to fully love and grow together to make a happy family unit. Cherish tried so hard to spread her wings and show all that she could be the independent grown up woman, but love would not let her move too far away! Simon was still his constant, predictable and totally naive self! If he could stop wanting to believe the best of everyone, he could have saved himself some hurt, present and future. But, I really enjoyed this word pictorial of them becoming a couple and with both kids, a family! Waiting with anticipation for the next year for all the family dynamics with Simon, Cherish, the kids, the parents and the in-laws! ☺️
The characters are well drawn. The humor moves the saga along. I enjoyed the stories without being too cynical of the theme of young female being rescued by the older wealthy man. Add the race, cultural, and educational differences and it is a bit much. There were two bits when the author & editor had the another name and the narrative got stalled. Here)# to HEA.
I liked that Cherish seemed to become more comfortable speaking up about things that were bothering her. I was really mad at Simon because I feel like he could have been a better partner to Cherish but at the nd of the day, they grew together despite all of the trials and tribulations they went thru during the second year. I highly recommend the series and can't wait for year 3. Fingers crossed that Simon, Cherish and the twins get their happy ending and the psycho gets what she deserve.
You need an editor or in the least a couple proofreader friends. There were some hiccups here and there but I love this couple and the story. But I am getting tired of Susan’s behind. I hope in the next 2 books she doesn’t make it a total catastrophe. I like drama to a degree but I love healthy relationships even more.
I would like to say that the cover of the book is misleading and the story was actually pretty good for adults I thought that the story was sweet and emotional and seem to flow well was not happy multiple cliffhangers but the happy for now and days happy for now ending gives us a small bit of reading resolution as we wait for the next installment in the series
The writing in this book is better than the first (no more blowing it, breathing out, huffing out); however they still need a better editor. The plot is interesting but a little bit disjointed. Simon and Cherish's story has kept me captivated and I will definitely be reading book 3.
This is my absolute favorite of the series! I choose this one because you get more of Simon & Cherish, but you also get to see the babies personalities shining through as well. A lot more happened in this one as well. LOVED IT! 10/10. 5 stars. I reread it often!
