About the author

Cami Checketts is a USA Today Bestselling author of over a hundred clean romance novels. Her journey began on an Idaho dairy farm daydreaming book ideas on her bike or tractor and landing herself in the hospital numerous times for head wounds. She settled down after college (retired the bike at least) to raise four crazy boys and write down all those fabulous ideas. Cami's life is busy but she thoroughly enjoys rarely living in reality.

This story has an unusual plot. Parker, playboy extraordinary, falls not for the woman in danger but for Eva, one of the bodyguards, while in Switzerland. Eva and Parker have their reasons for not falling in love—Eva more than Parker. I enjoyed their prank wars. Great story.

Very emotional story but different than the others in this series. The danger here is emotional rather than physical. Parker and Eva deeply connect on first glance. Of course Parker makes a joke about this to save face. I love all the pranks and that both know to expect them. I despise them in real life as most are frightening or mean, not so here. Both Parker and Eva have a past that has hindered them greatly in their ability to love. Yes there is an HEA. Don’t be disappointed that Juliette Belle’s story isn’t told here as it is the next book.

We have another wonderful book in the European Romance series. This time we travel to Switzerland with Parker Warren, playboy extraordinaire. He falls hard, but not for the lady he is guarding. He falls for Lt. Evangeline Robertson who happens to be one of Aiden Porters bodyguards. It is love at first sight for Parker. He is willing to tear down his heart walls to love this woman. The problem is that Evangeline’s heart has a wall larger than Parker’s wall. Will these two be able to let go of their past to find a future together? I highly recommend you read the book to find the answer.

The Greatest Victory

Chapter one was epic. A stand-alone chapter, needing no other to complete it. And then the turmoil for the reader started. Yet, gently blanketing the scenery, the darkness, the fun, the confusion, the tension, the misunderstandings, the pranks, was a layer of zen wisdom and peace that encapsulated every scene and every individual not just the protagonists. Compelling and inspiring. And, yeah, I cried.

Beautiful!

This romance was a beautiful story of healing and forgiveness and the need for God. In the midst of being able to love another person. I love the beautiful settings as well as the fun that the characters had quoting as they flirted and bantered with another.

The first part was a little too over the top for me. I enjoyed the way it was written, but Eva annoyed me. Thankfully that changed towards the end of the book. I wish there had been more to the story than their pranks, but it was still enjoyable. Can't wait to continue the series!
