About the author

Dr. Pat Ennis (Patricia A. Ennis) taught Home Economics for the San Diego Unified School District before developing and establishing the Home Economics Department at Christian Heritage College located in El Cajon, California at the request of Dr. Tim LaHaye. She moved to The Master’s College in 1987, at the invitation of Dr. John MacArthur, to establish the Home Economics-Family and Consumer Science Department. Relocation to the College at Southwestern Baptist Theological occurred in 2011. Currently she is the Director of Homemaking Programs and Distinguished Professor at Southwestern.

Pretty good and comprehensive. I didn’t love the layout or writing style, but I thought the author had a lot of good and practical things to say about Christian womanhood.

I'm almost surprised how much I loved this book. It was full of instructional wisdom for Christian women seeking the answer to the questions, "How do I live a Godly, Christ-centered life? What does a biblical lifestyle look like for women? How do I cultivate it?" Everytime I read this book, I gathered practical suggestions and Godly encouragement in my journey to become a Godly woman worth more than rubies (all with the Lord's help, of course). I can't wait to read their other book!

Wonderful book that contains a wealth of practical information. This book is a companion to 'Becoming a Woman Who Pleases God' and I preferred that book much more than this one.
