This legal thriller series is very addicting!

Sasha McCandless and her new husband, Leo Connelly, face an old nemesis in this installment. When a woman in the Federal Witness Protection Program, Allison Bennett, is tracked and killed by her husband, she leaves behind 6 minor children. Issues about parental rights, custody, and a trust give Sasha plenty to do with her partner, Will, and helped by their legal associate, first year law student, Naya. Leo, currently unemployed after his short tenure in security at a pharmaceutical company, teams up with Hank to help locate their escaped prisoner, Jeffrey Bricker, before he can wreak more havoc.

Just keeps getting better -- the more I read, the more I like the characters and the flow of each story with all the legal details and the drama. So happy that I came upon this author and this series. The books are full of action and have a fast pace so are easy to read in a single sitting. I realized that I had missed two novellas that tie up some loose ends, so will return to those before moving on to #7.

wow nice series

I came across this author by accident or I guess the first book popped up a a free one on some book club thing. So I got it.. To my surprise this author is Amazing Melissa F. Miller has worked my Brian on so many law terminology that gave me a head ache, lol but in an awesome way her characters of Sasha the superb attorney who not only is short like me but could kick ass is flawless. I so want to be like Sasha...
My biggest joy for this book series is the lack of sex or may I say no sex at all. It's all about crimes and investigation, solving a well planned out crime, now that's so awesome to be in the receiving end of a great story..
So this series is hot and so perfect to read I read book 1-6 in about a week now waiting for the 7th one to hit Amazon ... They are truly great books to read God job Melissa.

Breathless

I could not wait for this book to come out. I have read everyone of the Sasha McCandless books, I can never put them down. They ALL are so riveting, exciting, thrillers. I've frequently read an entire book in one day. Melissa F. Miller is a very talented writer, her knowledge of law is outstanding. She truly loves her writing and we (her fan club) love to read her novels. I highly recommend this book and the entire series to everyone. True romance, excitement, thrilling and reading are what you find. Enjoy, I certainly did

Irrevocable Trust (A Sasha McCandless Legal Thriller Book 6)

Just when you think it can't get any better than the last book. Wrong!!! Becker escapes from prison, goes after his wife to kill her because of her betrayal. Sasha and Connelly along with Hank come head to head with Becker. Cole has to decide whether to shoot his dad, while Sasha is trying to save Cole from his father. This book is so full of action, so I'm not going to give away what takes place. But...... The ending was a shocker!!! I laughed, got mad and even cried. Must read!!

Not quite the complications and tension of some of the earlier books in the series, but a great read nonetheless.I like the way the characters connect to each other, with real relationships. The last scene in the judge's courtroom took me by surprise.

Exciting and compassionate

As good as expected with some interesting twists. I can hardly wait for the next book! I am jealous of those just starting the series, because they can go to the next novel. I have to wait!

Sasha and Leo are settling in to their marriage but the peace doesn't last for long.
Demented Prepper Jeffrey Bricker in not so much on the run as on the trail as he tracks and kills his wife and sets his sights on Sasha.
She and Leo take in the six Bricker children after WITSEC cuts them loose.
"Irrevocable Trust" is, for me, the weakest book in the series so far (not including the wedding novella which was dreadful). It's short on law and plot and generally drifts along until the inevitable showdown.
It just didn't work for me - maybe it's too many Sasha McCandless novels in too short a period of time, or it could be that this time author Melissa F. Miller hasn't put the effort in. Either way, I'm taking a rest from the series for now and won't be returning to it in any great hurry.

Good book.
Delighted that I got a glimpse of Hank’s personal history.
I’m also happy that Jeffery is where his supposed to be.
I hope Sasha is not going to turn into one of those characters that does stupid and reckless things just for the drama effect, for example going into that alley after the homeless guy in this book.
I can’t seem to stop reading this series. I’m reading the books one after the other and not getting pissed off by the same phrases again and again which I admit does happen to me.

Irrevocable Trust is another home run for Mellisa Miller. She has a handle on legal and courtroom issues. The Sasha McCandless series is exceptional: exciting plot-lines, well researched detail, a lively team of protagonist characters. I must say that having also read her companion novels, Bodhi King & Aroostine Higgins, I don’t find them of the consistently high standard the outstanding Sasha McCandless novels.

Excellent, But

Where's the wedding? Somehow we seem to have gone from a future destination wedding at the end of book 4 to 6 months later at the beginning of book 5 with only hints at all sorts of shenanigans that took place in between. Other than that, I am entirely pleased with this book and will definitely be reading book 6 and probably as many more as Ms. Miller chooses to write.

There were some interesting legal matters, an irrevocable testamentary trust, which might seem redundant, likened in the story to a belt and suspenders kind of guy. But, in this story the legal issues were mostly secondary. In the end Sasha and Leo got all they deserved, and maybe less than they volunteered for.

Great read and looking forward to reading the next in the series. It definitely is a real page turner and I can't see how anyone would not give it a five star rating.

Very well written and suspenseful and I would highly recommend this book to anyone. I have read allot of the Sasha series and this one has to rank near the top.

The Psychopath Returns

This book would have been interesting even if I had not read the other book. The story is suspenseful, and the characters very interesting. I only wish I knew how the villain escaped from prison.

I'm really enjoying this series! In this installment, Bricker the sociopath prepper is out for revenge, and Sasha and Leo need to think not only for their own safety, but how to protect his six kids. We also learn about trusts, witness programs, abd contesting wills.

An easy to read book, and I am definitely going to backtrack to the first book of the series.
It was an interesting read about the minors who have fallen through the cracks of the all-mighty criminal justice system.

There's just a little too much going on in this book, the latest in the Sasha McCandless series (which I really enjoy). Sasha and Leo got married, but their wedding was interrupted by Jeffrey Bricker, the crazy survivalist from Book 5. [By the way, it seems that wedding and interruption was covered in Book 5.5]

Bricker escaped and killed his wife, who was in Witness Protection and now called Alison Bennett.

So Sasha, Leo and Hank need to take care of the 6 Bricker/Bennett kids, deal with a legal battle to keep Jeffrey Bricker away from them, and hunt down Bricker. It seemed like all 3 stories were well integrated, but it also felt like none of them got enough attention. Most of all, the book just seemed a little short. There wasn't much legal wrangling, though there was still plenty of action. It was still an enjoyable book, it just felt a little rushed.

Sasha becomes embroiled in the case of a woman with 6 kids who was in the witness protection program after she testified against her husband, a domestic terrorist. He has escaped prison and is set on payback against those who sent him there. His wife is first on his list and he is able to find her despite her new identity and kill her. Unbeknownst to Sasha she has been named trustee and executer in the woman's new will which opens up a number of legal problems. Sasha and her new husband are also on the killers list. This is not my first by this author and I have some more waiting on my TBR pile. Good reads!!

My favorite Sasha and Leo book so far.

They are 6 months married and still recovering from a prepper murderer who hired South American mercenaries to invade their wedding and kidnap or kill them. Bricker, the prepper, breaks out of prison and seeks revenge against his wife, and Leo & Sasha. Bricker gets help from preppers and all types of anti-government groups for all kinds of assistance. The battle ensues while Sasha, Leo, and Hank provide protection for the Bricker family. Exciting and heartwarming page-turner.

I highly recommend this book.

The streak continues...

Another enjoyable read from Ms. Miller. The Sasha McCandless series has consistently delivered tension, leavened with warmth and humor. Disaster-prepper Jeffrey Bricker catches up to Sasha and Leo for revenge.
Along with the action, we continue to learn more about the characters; the glimpses across the several books stitch into rounded people we want to know better.
