Excuse me!! This is a book I did not even plan on reading, decided to and could not put it down. Ophelia and Jarrett are exceptional bad*sses!! Holy cow!! I love an independent woman who can hold her own and a dominant man who isn’t intimidated by her. Whew! Yeah, go ahead and read it!!!
This book was very, very spicy. A lot of spice and a great story to go with it. Ophelia and Jarrett were an unlikely pairing after you know their backgrounds but it works. If you like a lot of spice, this one is for you! Did I mention that Jarrett is British and has an accent?
Hawt Damn! I want a Jarrett!! Ophelia and Jarret are relationship goals. They bring out the best in each other and that’s what everyone in life needs…permission to be themselves. Ophelia is funny - her inner commentary made me laugh out loud. I love that she is a strong confident woman and has instilled that in her friends. I hope the girls both get their stories told too (hint hint).
In true author fashion, these ladies have given us another great story - fabulous characters - hot spicy time - lots of references to past books/characters and juicy nuggets for the future.
Interesting plot to have a female sniper go after a huge human trafficking group. Finding the person you thought was behind the captures only to fall. Beware of daddy dearest & the part he plays. (Reviewed by Lin)
This story was not what I expected in the best most amazing way! It starts off in full NO One style (if you’ve read them before you know exactly what I’m talking about), and the steam just doesn’t stop! I love Ophelia’s Batman vibe - and how unapologetically herself she is. The spark with Jarrett that would burn down an entire forest! Gah!! And the Easter eggs and bread crumbs, cameos - absolutely love seeing the story cross over into that world! Most auction books start with the girl paying off a debt or needing money, which is what makes this story unique. I don’t think I’ve ever read this particular trope in such an extraordinary way. When I say the steam is hot, that’s such a gross understatement it is shameful but I just don’t have the words to properly articulate how freaking flaming hot this book is. To be honest I’m half afraid if I owned a paper copy it would self combust - that’s how hot the steam is. The dynamic between Ophelia and Jarrett has banter and lots of push and pull, the chemistry is just off the charts. I can’t wait to see what happens later in this world and with the bread crumbs that have been laid out. Be prepared to read this in one sitting - you won’t want to think of anything else until you’ve hit the end and even then you’ll want to reason your way into a second read immediately after because the story is just that good. If you like mafia, bdsm, enemies to lovers, sold to the highest bidder, burn the world down for his girl, morally grey, steam that burns the pages - this is the story for you!
Ophelia and jarrett are total badasses and deserve each other. They went from hunting eachother down to being stuck in a cabin together - jarrett knowing who he was stuck with but Ophelia not! And boy when she found out!.
“But they hit the nail on the head. James smith, Is me, Jarrett vale”
Jarrett and Ophelia deserve each other and their happiness, however there was times when I felt bad for Logan…
“I don’t care how, what, where or why we are together now, but I fucking love you Ophelia warren” “Your the most infuriating man I’ve ever known, Jarrett whatever your last fucking name is”
This book was an unexpected 5 ⭐️, and will be a reread at some point!.

I loved this story, Ophelia and Jarrett have so much spicy chemistry. This story is filled with excitement, steam, and angst. This is everything I look for in a dark romance standalone. It is spicy, it is dark, and it is the perfect length for a standalone. I felt like I got a full story without it being too long. I also loved seeing the pop ups of characters from the authors other series. 10/10 recommend.
Fatal is a dark romance with all the intensity you’d expect from an enemies-to-lovers trope. Ophelia and Jarrett’s chemistry is absolutely electric. Every scene between them drips with tension and heat. Their steamy reactions and push-and-pull dynamic kept me hooked from start to finish.
This story was pure spice, and I fully enjoyed every sinful moment of it. The pacing, the dark undertones, the passion, it was all delicious. That said, while I loved the ride, I felt the ending didn’t quite deliver the strong, lasting impact I was hoping for. It wrapped up a little too softly for such a fiery story.
Still, if you’re here for angst, heat, and dark desire, Fatal will definitely satisfy.
Ok we need more this cannot be a standalone! Please make it into a series so we can have more of Ophelia and Jarrett! We also need spin offs for Opi and tab so we can get their stories.
The entire plot of the ‘firm’ had me hooked in SOK so I knew this one would have me hooked and it didn’t disappoint. Plus the whole club lust set up 🥵🥵💦 damn that was hot and if any woman gets a man as a hot as jarrett in real life damn you lady I’m jealous as hell because that man knows how to rock your world
I ate this book up in a single sitting, i just couldn’t put it down! I have no idea how I’ve gone so long without reading this😩
One thing about me, i love a dom & bratty sub and Jarrett & Ophelia are officially in my top 10 favourite book couples 🙂↕️
Ophelia is an absolute badass & Jarrett, there would be absolutely no hesitation in getting on my knees for you, you sexy, SEXY MAN 🤪
I’m really sad there is only gonna be one book for these two but what a book it was! I couldn’t put it down once i started and I loved seeing how these two worked together! Also, the little appearances from other characters???!! Love love love love!!
The spice in this one too…😮💨😮💨😮💨 5000/10 absolutely immaculate 🤌🏻
This book is super spicy, a quick read and one that you can’t put down!
Ophelia and Jarrett are absolutely amazing, I loved their story. Ophelia is sassy and has the best witty comebacks. And Jarrett is a bossy alpha dom and I LOVED him. The character development in this book was top notch. I couldn’t put this one down!
Every book they write has you wiggling in your seats, and this one does too. The roller-coaster is real!! Get ready. This is not your wooden roller-coaster. This is the batman roller-coaster. This book is spicey and hot. Get ready to binge read it cause you will not be able to put it down.
The double duo have done it again! The Queens of starting a book with a bang (literally) and this one is no different. Fast paced, gripping and a strong willed FMC, this book is everything you need!
As always, these two women deliver a book you won't soon forget. Read the whole series. Great writers, sex, adventurous and down right from scary at times.edge of your seat drama
KU 3.5⭐️ Well, this story starts with a bang, literally! Great story, quick pace, gripping, great chemistry between the characters & decent amout of spice that fits with the plot. My first read by the authors, won't be my last.
The mmc saying that the slaves for the most part were better off as slaves. Wtf. I get that the mmc is meant to be morally grey but the fact that he is written in a way that makes you feel like he is basically ‘saving’ these women is disgusting. Added to this the fmc who is supposed to be anti-trafficking , just accepts what he tells her and justifies it to herself is mind blowing. I’ve read captive/trafficking romances before and understand the wobbly line of morality in fiction but you can’t write a despicable mmc in a fluffy way without it being a reflection on the author

This book is pure fire—and that’s exactly why I picked it up. But once I started reading, I couldn’t put it down. The action, the intensity, the pace, the romance, the emotional depth—it all had me hooked. Ophelia and Jarret’s chemistry is off the charts. Seriously, wow. I’m still buzzing from it, lets face it, Daddy is wrapped around Mumma. And the way these badass women own their roles? Hats off.
I am going to be reading all books written by the authors, so so so amazing.
The nickname ‘Kitten’ has been used 76 times in this book. 76 times too many to my liking. 🥰 - He’s also a Brit-word arse used 34 times! 🥰 - Here are some quotes that had me physically cringing:
‘“The next time I talk to you about filling you with my babies, you say yes, Sir. How many, Sir. And when, Sir.” Mentally.’
I can't lie, I feel like I’m being nice with my rating. Like what even happened here? Like, how do you go from vigilante justice to “he’s different” vibes overnight? The FMC goes from literally taking down s*x traffickers to dating one...confusing plot twist.
The banter between the characters was definitely solid, and the FMC's friend group dynamic was actually fun to read. Love a good dark romance but this just wasn't for me.
