Rate this book
“Franken Bitch” is a horrifying tale about two psychopaths and what they consider love. Jeremiah is a taxidermist who is trying to get in on the dating game. His cousin Johnny Angel is a stalker, obsessed with a high school girl he once followed home from a Publix. While both are odd on an individual basis, when they get together and collaborate, their thoughts turn deadly.

Eventually, a girl dies and she’s brought back to life and a battle between the two for her love ensues.

Jimmy James "M.F." Pudge was born into this world on 6-9-1979 in a truck stop toilet at a TA Travel Center in the backwoods of South Georgia. An honest and conscientious man, Jimmy served several prison sentences because he refused to give in to the federal laws that impose independent spirits' rights to be entrepreneurs. An expert in the art of pruno, shank construction, and paper dart blow guns, Jimmy briefly served as a leader in his dorm room before being released early for good behavior.

Been a tough week st the Topside compound. Our oldest kitty is not doing well. So I needed something fun and mindless to bring my spirits up. Enter Jimmy Pudge. The opening of this book had me laughing. Really let us get a crash course in knowing our one lead, Jeremiah. His awkwardness and odd interests and…well…his terrible date etiquette. But he tried and even used the word ‘kaka,’ which had me laughing. And the same went for our other lead, Johnny, whose introduction was equally as ugly and satisfying. And the story just quickly devolved as we were treated to one inadvertently hilarious and grotesque occurrence between out bumbling lead characters as they averted the law and sanity. It was nasty and uncomfortable and basically everything that I hoped it would be. Not sure why this isn’t rated higher, as I had a pretty damn good time here. The pacing was a little too quick, but otherwise everything was on point. Enjoy, you horror nuts!

When you need some sweet and beautiful to talk to... Why not cut out the pieces you want and reanimate them from an entirely different brain.
And the word “Bitch” may just bark at the next full moon. Wait the moon doesn’t have to be full.

Clever and different

Jimmy Pudge is an author who writes b-movie goodness filled with violence, sharp wit, and stories so indie there should be another category just for him. Franken Bitch is a story about two serial killers who make their ideal woman out of the parts of their victims. I laughed out loud once while reading this novel - which is very rare for me. There are some types that do not distract from the story, but they are there. This type of story is, of course, uncomfortable and mysoginistoc - but serial killers who prey on women aren't normally woke individuals. The only issue I had with the book is that almost every character had a first or last name that starts with J, which can be confusing at times. I would recommend this book and also Bad Billy by this author.

Jimmy is back with all the horror and humor that has become a hallmark of his style and a flavor that is uniquely his and his alone. The writing is crisp and hard hitting, almost an assault to the senses, and the pages, or the kindle, rather is swathed in blood. Never a dull moment, the story grabs you, takes hold, and rides you hard until the very end. Grab this one.
