Now I see what the hype was about…
Fontaine put the “U” on unhinged but I’m here for it! He and Janelle’s chemistry was palpable from the moment they laid eyes on each other and I don’t think anyone or anything could have stopped Fontaine from claiming “what’s his.” I loved Monaye’s writing style & when she called Fontaine a “demon in a designer suit” that was the highlight of my day lol! Great spicy read that makes me want more from this author. And that Spotify playlist, my goodness 🥰. Monaye has a new fan!

The shenanigans were definitely doing their job in this book because my boy Fontaine was HOOKED AFTER ONE HIT! I absolutely loved how DOWN BAD he was after Janelle and how he wasn’t about to hesitate to wife her up—unfortunately, he heard some words he wasn’t expecting.
I won’t lie; Janelle was foul AF knowing her situation. She messed up big time because she didn’t realize Fontaine wasn’t playing with a full deck—because with one phone call, he had names and addresses. LOL! This was when things got crazy, and I couldn’t stop reading or laughing. 😂 This man is showing up at dates and sending flowers to this woman’s HOUSE! See what happens when you can’t keep the coochie to yourself? You end up meeting a man who isn’t wrapped tight. LOL! Now you have this guy out here dropping bodies and holding hostages. 😂😂😂
While this is an entertaining story, the grammatical errors were noticeable, and the editing could have been handled with more care. Additionally, it would have helped if we had some background on Janelle’s situation. It just comes off as if she is being foul for no reason because we never really got any information about what’s going on between her and Terrell. Did something happen on those work trips, and is she playing the “get you back” game only to get caught up? What’s the tea, sis? That would have provided a reason to “encourage” her actions. We don’t even know WHY she is moving the way she is.
The ending wasn’t what I expected— I thought his crazy self was going to paint the city red for her, but I guess he decided to be sane for once. LMBO! I would have liked some type of resolution with Terrell and an epilogue, but overall, it was an entertaining read. I hope there’s a part two coming soon!

Obsessed
Fontaine went out for a night of fun and instead fell into some p#$sy he refused to let go. When he found out Janelle was married that seemed to make him want her more, I mean the fool was obsessed. While there was no real story I enjoyed the shenanigans. Fontaine was a psychopathic 🥷🏾, but the way he was blowing Janelle's back out I gave him a pass 🤷🏾♀️ It's a short quick read.

The author warned us 🤭 Fontaine was everything she said he was. “A man who don’t just love hard—he love dangerous. But he crazy. Off. Unhinged.” He was every bit of crazy & I was still wishing I was Janelle 🤣 The chemistry she had with Fontaine was off the charts & I see why she did what she did 🤷🏽♀️

I don’t know what I just read but it was insane and filthy… that damn Fontaine was worst than obsessed he was a psychopath and I think me and Janelle liked it too much. i would love to see how much more crazy he can get and if the husband will resurface

My jaw is literally on the floor! I have read a lot of unhinged books, but this man is on Demon Time! This short story I wish could’ve been longer because OMG. I don’t know any other word to use for possessive or obsessive but if there is, that is exactly who this man is.

We mind as well put Mr. Wells as one of the faces for unhinged in the dictionary. He didn’t have to do them men like that 😂. Janelle and Fontaine were sprung off each other immediately. She was getting something from him her husband hasn’t been giving and baby girl jumped head first in his ocean. They both deserved each other with their freaky selves 😈. I love an unhinged man.

Whew okay I was about to say. I almost thought he had a few of those DSM-V diagnoses. This man had a “rendezvous “ in the club bathroom with that married woman who he didn’t know was married. And became 🐱 whipped after just one night. Had him doing the MOST! He didn’t have to kill Carlos tho. Anyways this was a short crazy quick read. 3/5 ⭐️

Baby this was a filthy, unhinged, soul snatching good time. It was just what I needed to get me out of my current slump.
Fontaine was obsessed after one hit and Janelle fed his obsession every time she was in his space.
He stalked, kidnapped, and killed for her. What should have made her run away kept her coming back!
The only thing missing for me is a little backstory on the marriage, why Janelle do her husband like this? Also, who was on that photo he kissed in that wallet? How was it that easy for him to walk away and give her everything? Felt to me like Fontaine set him free… 👀
This was my first read by this author and it won’t be my last!

⭐️⭐️… it was a quick read, but mostly smut. Not much plot. Would’ve liked to see more of the husband and the fmc’s relationship, at least a little more character development. But regardless, it was entertaining. Fontaine was crazy and lowkey so was the main character. By the end of the book she claims she’s in love with Fontaine…. 😐…. 😒….🌚….. uhhh, ohkaaaaay… 😂🤣
