There are some people who have a healthy relationship with food. They eat reasonable portions and mainly eat things that are good for them. However, there are plenty of others who overeat, don’t eat enough, or can’t seem to stop eating unhealthy foods. They struggle in their relationship with food, and it makes them miserable.

This book is for that second category of people. It’s for individuals who would like to establish better eating habits and who want to stop focusing obsessively on this aspect of their lives. It was written by two people who have been exactly where you are, and they write in an approachable, simple way, giving you tips that are easy to follow. By implementing the plan they lay out, you should be able to soon have your problems with food under control.

I really liked this book.

I really liked this book. I don't suffer from an addiction, I consider it that way. Maybe I'm wrong. But I do love to eat, and I think this book has a special focus on sticking to our routines. I think it's geared more toward people with a food addiction or emotional eaters. Throughout the book, they take us on a path to nutrition, touching on points like sustainable weight loss, the importance of sleeping well, and even emotional well-being. Without a doubt, a book I highly recommend for anyone struggling with eating disorders or simply wanting to learn about the subject. Without a doubt, a book worth reading and understanding from beginning to end.

A necessary tool

With “Real food recovery”, you'll learn to eat, to exercise properly and to feel pleased with yourself.
Jamie Morgan has penned a useful book that helps people with binge eating problems, emotional eating and food obsession. Along the chapters, readers will learn about healthy dishes, healthy lifestyle and how to develop a healthy relationship with food.
It’s a really interesting book because it teaches how to relate with food and how to feed you with nutritious, fair dishes. It helps to control appetite and eat healthy items that are nutritious and give people satiety, and at the same time, enjoy life. I thoroughly recommend it to people who struggle with any kind of food disorder.

We don't always eat solely to satisfy physical hunger. Many of us also turn to food for comfort, stress relief, or reward, and when we do this, we're putting our health at risk. In Real Food Recovery, authors Alexander and Reno help readers navigate the path to healthy eating.

This book is especially intended for all readers who suffer from food addiction. What I liked most is that it's not just a book where these authors offer a diet; they go further and help readers on the path to healthy eating, which is very complex. Also the explanations from these authors are clear and concise.

I certainly recommend this interesting read.

This is such an interesting read. It is full of useful information that can help me work on my health just by knowing and eating the right food. This is how life should be, not buying supplements that may be fake. It is interesting to follow along the author’s journey to health. I am really interested in changing my life for the better and this is a great book to start with. I hope a lot of people read this book so that they can understand the real meaning of what you eat. This helps me convince my partner to exercise and eat healthy. The chapter about movement is important too, so do not skip that chapter.

This read feels very unique, the way it talks about food struggles is more a down to earth approach than rather easy solutions. The idea of trying to be conscious about food, sleep, spirituality, and more all as a whole is interesting. In a very holistic way, I really enjoy it. It is an honest read and very easy for those going through struggles with food.

The authors also share personal stories and that gives a plus.
Overall, it's a great read, it would have been nice to read more perspectives or stories, but it's very encouraging and I think it gives really good tools to reach recovery.
