When her mother becomes engaged to the high school principal, Kayano's life gets even more complicated since the principal's son, Takeru, constantly bullies her.
Wow. We learn about Takeru’s past and how it’s obviously still affecting him to this day.
The story is still interesting and the pacing is good. When a new conflict arises, it isn’t dragged on for multiple volumes. It’s usually resolved within the same volume. My only gripe is that I want to see more of Takeru and Kayano!!!! Hey, I remember being in love at 16/17 and wanting to be around that person constantly… sneaking out and being teenagers lol. But these teenagers in manga are SO TAME!!! They don’t even try to kiss when they’re left alone !!! Maybe Japanese kids are better behaved lol
"Have you ever been hated by someone? You don't know why they really hate you . They just do. It's terrible. What's even worse... ...The only way to destroy their hatred is to oppose it with your own hatred. In the end, he blames himself." - Kayano
In this volume we learn more about Takeru and his past and discover his relationship with Yuzuru.
Hmm...I wouldn't exactly say this volume was bad. The majority of it was spent unraveling the connection between Yuzu and Takeru. It went in depth with both characters and you learned more about why Yuzu had been creeping around the high school and Kayano. The focus was more on Takeru's past than Takeru and Kayano romance, so that bummed me a little. However, it was nice to learn more about why Takeru is guarded and it will be interesting to see how Kayano can get him to open up.
I liked this volume, but it was a tad boring to me. That's probably on me though. I watched the drama first, so I knew everything that was going to happen and what the twists were. If I hadn't watched the drama, I'd probably be on the edge of my seat trying to figure out what Yuzu's intentions were.
Confessing to the person you like is never easy, having the attention seeking Edogawa Tekeru know who you like is even worse. Kayano thought high school was going to be hard enough but take on running errands for Takeru and it is almost unbearable especially when their parents are getting married and they have to move in with one another.
I loved the storyline development and growth of the characters. This is a series that I was really excited about reading. The romance does not start at the beginning but it grows stronger because of everything the couple has to overcome and go through. Kayano is a lovable personality and even though most people do not like Takeru in the beginning, he grows on you too.
Note: This review was completed after reading volumes 1-11.
Sinceramente el final de este arco argumental me pareció algo predecible... No me gusto mucho por algunas razones, aunque me igual me llego la historia... No me llego a agradar en su totalidad...
