Marie's Tempting Reads Review:

This is the first book by AK Kinley I read so far, but I can assure you it will NOT be my last. This is a MM story that was incredibly sensual and sexy as all get out. I really enjoyed this short story and I am really excited about reading more MM stories by this talented author.

Inferno is about a older man falling in love with a younger man. Lucas took Dylan in after finding him living in his car after Dylan was kicked out by his grandmother for being gay. Lucas also happens to be Dylan's sports coach. Dylan is a sweet, strong, sexy man who straight after getting invited to stay with his coach, he confesses his feelings and throws his journal at Lucas to prove it. When Dylan stalks off, Lucas reads a page from his journal and he finally realizes he can now take all his fantasies about Dylan and make them true.

Just as things look up for both Dylan and Lucas, Lucas's twin brother, Mark, a hater of gays, kidnaps Dylan and another young gay man, Whisman. Things get dangerous fast after that, and intense as Dylan starts to fall for Whisman too. Soon Lucas comes to the rescue and then Dylan's and Lucas's two way, soon become a three-way Inferno.

This story was so scrumptious. The only thing that made me a little leery was the fact that Whisman seemed much more of a..well a baby then anything. It however, didn't take away fully from the story. Inferno was still a hot little number and that's why I give it a burning FOUR OUT OF FOUR STARS.

This story shows you just how haters can be. These three men will let nothing stand in their way to be together. Love can conquer all, and everyone involved comes out stronger in the end. I highly recommend this book.

Let me go in saying that I am NOT a huge fan of cutesy names that are repeated repetitively! (See, it is dang annoying!) But, I did like the rest of the story! I felt like the build up to the rescue scene was a bit vague and I am not sure that the punishment fit the crime... in that, even assholes deserve their day in court. That having been said, I can understand the need to protect the ones that you love, even if it is from someone that should love you. It is a crazy, mixed up world out there and there appears to be NO end to the hate.

I really liked Dylan and Whisman's characters... Lucas? He was a bit harder to warm up to, but I did feel that he was totally committed to the three of them being together... I just could have lived without all of the "gay baby" "boy toy" moments... my brain just isn't geared that way... although I am sure that many just loved every minute of it... so, it's all good! ;D

I didn't really like this book all that much. I couldn't get into the characters at all. It just felt too rushed and unbelievable. I didn't like the names they had for each other or the dialogue. I really hate rating a book that I didn't enjoy and don't like saying stuff bad. I just didn't find much about this book to be redeeming or that would lead me to try something else by the author.

The sad thing is that I was excited to read this book. It was a menage, which I love. It also sounded interesting by the blurb. It just didn't live up to the hype. It had a little bit of suspense to it with the brother, but the book just wasn't long enough to give a good background or explain anything. I really wish I could rate this better.

A Menage? A Erotic M/M/M book? Light Bondage? I'm THERE.. with the synopsis that is.

Lucas has only been with one man and that was many years ago. Then Dylan, who is on his one of his players, ends up at his house because he has no place else to go. Things quickly spin out of control and they end up in bed together and calling each other husband. Shortly there after, Mark, Lucas' twin brother, finds out that he is gay and Dylan is his partner. Mark is extremely upset since he is a gay hater. Mark kidnaps Dylan and another man, Whisman.

While the writing isn't bad, the story left much to be desired in my opinion. Things move VERY VERY rapidly. Like professing love even though they've only spent a handful of house (if that) together. This was the hardest thing for me to accept with the story. I tried not to let it bother me with Dylan and Lucas but then it again happened INSTANTLY with Whisman for both the men and it just didn't work for me. There was no room for character development or developing feelings, they were just instantly there. There was numerous missing or randomly place quotation marks as well.

While this wasn't my favorite book, I'd be willing to try another story by this author with the hopes that it was just this story that was so quickly paced.
