For the Night #2

Virgin for the Night

Rate this book
Who do you want me to be?

My name is Logan Steele. I’m devilishly handsome, seriously ripped, well hung, charismatic and highly sexed. Women just can’t resist me. So when I lost my job in the construction industry and was struggling for cash, I decided to put my assets to good use.

By day I’m a private personal fitness trainer. By night I’m a high class escort, making women's utmost desires come to life.

My next client is aspiring actress Summer Beresford, whose brief for the evening is that she wants to be treated as if she’s a virgin, to be seduced and wooed. I’d already felt conflicted when I’d received her booking form detailing her scenario, as a rule I didn’t do tender gentle love making, women booked me because of my reputation for fucking, hard.

To compound my dilemma, I couldn’t stop looking at her damn photograph and had even used an image of her in my mind to get hard and come with another client. Not only was that highly unprofessional of me, it was potentially hazardous to my reputation in case I groaned the wrong woman’s name. I was already treading that very fine line between professional and personal. Before I’d even met the damn woman she had me breaking one of my cardinal rules, Never fall for one of your clients. The more I looked at her photo though, the more I wanted her.

Summer Beresford, I’m about to woo your arse off and have my own virginal experience, making love for the first time.

Virgin is book two in the For the Night series, which can all be read as standalone steamy reads. However if read in the following sequence, you get taken on Logan's journey of self-discovery, and the entire series becomes a romance novel:

1. Strangers for the Night
2. Virgin for the Night
3. Filthy for the Night
4. Ménage for the Night
5. Sophisticated for the Night
6. Biker for the Night
7. Dominant for the Night
8. Actor for the Night

Another fabulous installment to the -For the Night- series. The first book of the series got me so hyped up and excited to read this!! More Logan Steel *swoooon*

OOH-EMM-GEE! Where can I find myself a Logan Steele?! I'm in awe of CJ's ability to cram so much detail/sexxxiness into such a short read and leave you feeling as if you've read a 500pg novel. I hope Summer can find her way back into Logan's life... if only for another night xx

**I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review**

Let me say, first, that I love these covers. They're clean and simple, and the reflection of each different girl in his glasses is really fun! I could stare at this guy all day. OK, with that out of the way, I'll get on to my review!

I picked up Virgin for the Night immediately after finishing Strangers for the Night, as I couldn't wait to meet Summer and get started on this story! She's introduced to us in book one as Logan's next client. He's enamored by her photograph, and thoughts of her distract him constantly in the first book. I was excited to see how things played out between Summer and Logan, and especially to see how his character would continue to develop. I was hungry for much more insight into his life, his personality, and his history. And I'm happy to say we do find out a bit more about him! I had a few questions going in, about what his encounter with Summer would be like. For instance, would she be the one to break through and get him to show some emotion? I really hoped so. He mentioned in book one something about wanting to hear Summer call him by his real name. I wondered if that would be revealed as well.

His "assignment" with Summer is to pretend she's a virgin, and to seduce and make love to her accordingly. Gently. With tenderness. Something else I wondered before starting, was whether Summer actually was a virgin. We find out pretty quickly what her deal is. Summer is an up-and-coming actress, still living at home with her parents, who has just landed the role of a lifetime. She hears about Logan from her makeup artist, and uses a huge chunk of her signing bonus to splurge on one special night with him. This is clearly an uncharacteristically bold move for Summer, who is responsible, timid, and seems to be pretty thrifty. Logan can tell from the start that something was different about Summer. She immediately has him feeling unhinged. He's not supposed to have feelings for his clients, that's against his rules. This is all new and unnerving for him.

Seeing the care and preparation he takes in readying things for his clients shows how thorough he is. But he's just as nervous about this job as Summer, and that's very nice to see. She's the first woman in years that has caused this reaction in him. Summer, on the other hand, is nervous for different reasons. A past trauma has left her frightened of intimacy, and Logan is determined to help her put that fear behind her. And that's when the fun starts!

The night they share is so much more personal that that of Logan and Camilla in the first book of this series, and I loved every second of it. Logan's tender thoughts and actions in this book were authentic, despite the fact that he was paid to spend the evening with Summer, and I ate them up! He shows such an endearing vulnerability, that I fell for him completely. This was the Logan I was hoping for! As intrigued as he had me in book one, now I'm even more anxious to know more about him. He felt something special with Summer, and I'm both curious and nervous to see how things unfolded between the two of them as the series progresses. I'm fearful, though, that none of the other girls will measure up for me, as I really have come to like Summer, and I'm very much hoping that we will be seeing plenty of her in the future. The ending of Virgin for the Night didn't leave me too hopeful for this, but I will still keep my fingers crossed!

Virgin For The Night by CJ Fallowfield - Reviewed by Klaire Sutherland

"But I need more, tell me I can have it, tell me I can have you"
Straight off the back of Strangers we dive into Logan's next client (or rather he does) and as with all these kind of book series the reader needs a hook that is more than steamy scenes and hot sex in order to keep our interest. It's delivered in the dainty little package of Summer Beresford and her naiveity. She has no idea what so ever how she impacts upon Logan and his emotions. And he is just a tad bowled over by his little virginal client.
This one's a tugger (as I told CJ)! It's not a straight through smutty read, although there's plenty there to keep you squirming in your seat. But these scenes are laced with a little bit more than "I'm doing my job" and it really does pull at you. Emotions from both are bubbling to the surface, only to be pushed back down.
We see a different side to Logan here, a side we caught tiny glimpses of in Strangers. Again....not a hell of a lot but more than before. For once, he is nervous, not a trait he is used to. He senses her nerves too but rather than let her walk out the door he recoups the situation, not something he would normally do. He asks if he can have her "his" way, breaking his own rules again. "I could drown in those f**cking stunning Indian oceans of blue" He's so beautiful with her, giving her what she asks for, taking it easy, comforting her. Aww, I loved it! It seems he finds and loses himself a little with Summer, there's a deep rooted longing within him and for some reason Summer is the one to bring this right into his face, and.....he finally gets his tingles.
Summer, his client, is what I would say is on the cusp of her career and lacks a whole heap of self confidence needed in order to fulfill her role. She turns to Logan but inevitibly finds herself drawn to him. Her insecurities run deep, she doesn't believe a word Logan says to her, putting it down to it being his "job" but does take comfort in some of it. What she doesn't fully comprehend is that she so has Logan Steel by the balls (for that night at least) and it is not a position many women have been in with him. Throughout the night she slowly finds her confidence but reminds herself she paid him. They are quite simply drawn to each other, feel each other, understand each other. But I did ask myself - was it the girl he liked or the feelings she evoked in him? It's a sad moment when they part, knowing how they both feel in the morning. I do anticipate seeing Summer again at some point (hello....there's a reason he took her home)and I do see his next client not at all being plain sailing. Looking forward to that!
I have to say I am really glad that CJ has decided to write Logan's story this way, I think it works better as a series rather than a book. The anticipation of each client is heightened with the wait. So while waiting for the next one with baited breath, here's my favourite line from Summer - "I felt like chewing gum that had been left out in the heat of the sun, totally soft and pliable" Thank you CJ....time for Filthy :) 5 for definite!!

"Never develop any emotional attachment to a client."

Way to go Logan as you break your own rules! This second novella in the For the Night steamy series had me chuckling away as bad boy Lothario Logan introduced himself as a lean mean f**king machine in the first couple pages to then admit he was falling for a customer he had yet to meet.

This is a stand alone and can be read independently but to fully appreciate the irony of Logan's inner turmoil I recommend first experiencing his previous encounter in Strangers For the Night. This continues where we left off as Logan plans carefully to please his next client - Summer. An aspiring actress she has landed a make or break role in a movie where she is to play a sexually experienced temptress. To help prepare herself she hires Logan on the recommendation of her make-up artist to gain all the knowledge she needs.

Summer gets more than she bargained for as Logan pulls out all the stops to woo his lady. He puts his heart and soul into the details yet Summer wrongly believes he is just playing a part. I enjoyed every minute as I gained an insight into the true Logan...but don't worry he wielded his mighty man snake in some truly panty melting sexy scenes too! Logan breaks Summers reservations surrounding sex down and I for one wish he had been my first whether I paid for him or not! Summer revels in her newfound sensuality and enjoys every lesson he has to teach her.

Although he is one hot hunk of sex on legs and I need to read more of his exploits, I can't wait to find out if they do eventually meet again! He is hooked on her and I am looking forward to reading more. The ending suggests their story may not be conventional one but I have high hopes of a HEA for them.

"Yep, today just sums up the story of your life, well you made your damn bed, you'd better keep f**king in it, Logan Steele."

This short read had me laughing, squirming and wishing for my own Logan on speed dial. I thoroughly recommend this to anyone looking for a light hearted sexy read. Five smouldering stars!

Another amazing short read that gives us another glimpse of the life sexy Logan Steele leads. In this instalment of For The Night series, we get to see Logan meet up with the one client that he's been secretly having doubts about meeting, Summer Beresford. Ever since receiving her booking, Logan as been drawn to her picture like no one else before. There's just something about this English rose that he's unable to grasp the concept to the effects she as on him and how his entire body reacts to her. For Logan, clients are just that. He never crosses boundaries. He provides a service to what the individual desires, fulfils it, then moves on. But without even meeting Summer, for the first time ever Logan's beginning to doubt his own emotions when it comes to this woman. His mind is telling him to cancel their rendezvous, while his heart is telling him not to.

Summer's fantasy is to be treated like a virgin all over again. She wants to experience all her first with someone that will give her everything she's desired for how her first time should be, and there's no one better to take on this role than Logan Steele. With an hefty charge, he's simply the best in the business that money can buy when it comes to satisfying a woman and achieving their ultimate fantasy.

But what happens when a fantasy becomes a reality? How will Logan adapt to admissions that are made that night? Can Logan treat Summer Beresford like all his other clients then simply walk away? Even though he's aware that she's the one person that's stirs up emotions that he never even thought imaginable.

A short enjoyable read, where we discover another side to Logan that makes the reader fall for him even more. This instalment will keep you guessing with the revelations till the very end. I'm just hoping there's more to come from theses two lovable characters knowing their story could only just be beginning.

I swear I can not get enough of Logan Steele. This is the second book in this series of stories about his nights that he is out with clients. He is every woman’s dream and makes those come true; of course it all comes with a price. This was no except for Summer Beresford.

Summer wants to spend the evening with Logan so that she can get some sexual experience under her belt. She is very innocence. Once Logan realizes the truth, will he be able to show her how it feels to be made love too? Or will Summer’s nerves get the best of her?

Logan knows he can do his job. He has the ability to adapt to all his clients needs but when he realizes that he will be Summer’s first lover, can he keep his heart and personal thoughts of her away from the job at hand? Logan has been fascinated by Summer since he opened her email and saw her picture. She is even more beautiful in person. The electricity that seems to charge the room when they are together is beyond the norm. They both feel it.

But Logan is there to do his job and Summer paid well for a night with Logan Steele. He plans to deliver. As their night turns to a teacher student session, Logan shows sides of himself to Summer that he usually keeps hidden. Why does he feel more alive with her than ever? What is it about this woman that stirs something deep inside Logan’s chest? Will he be able to let her go when her night is over?

Virgin for the Night is the second installment of Logan Steele and his life as a male escort. In this installment he was hired to take the virginity of an innocent, 22 year old actress, Summer. He knew before even booking the date that this time would be different.

“This was torture. I wanted to rip her dress off and f*ck her up against the wall, on the floor, bent over the bedroom chair, on the bed, damn…everywhere, fast, hard, and raw. I wanted to bite her neck and mark her, show everyone that she was taken. She was going to be my biggest challenge yet.”

We got to see another side to Logan this time; a sweet, caring, sexy side. Don’t get me wrong, he was still hot as hell. But we get to see how lonely his life is and that he has wants and needs like the rest of us.

If you are looking for a short, steamy read, this series is perfect! I enjoyed this volume even more than the first and I can’t wait to read the next installment. I wonder if Logan continues with his clients or if he will end up back with Summer . ~ Tiffany, 4 stars

In the second book of this novella series we once again follow Logan; the hot, sexy, confident male escort but this time he has a night planned for Summer; the woman who already had him obsessed before he even met her. Will they both be able to keep it to just one night of sex or will they both start to feel something deeper?

“I couldn’t turn her away, I had to have her, to know if she tasted as sweet as she smelled, to know if she’d feel as good as I was imagining when I fucked her. It was only for the night.”

I enjoyed this story as I enjoyed the other one before it. It’s short but it’s hot, sexy and has a story line that keeps developing with each book. I was excited to meet Sunmer; the woman who has already captured Logan’s attention more than any other woman has and I loved getting back to Logan; he is beyond hot, he talks dirty perfectly and in this story we start to see a softer, kinder side of him.

“However hot Logan looked in his pictures, was nothing compared to the man in person. He just exuded confidence, masculinity and raw sex appeal, no wonder he came so highly recommended. When he smiled I almost felt as if I was going to faint and swayed on my feet. O shit Summer, he’s going to eat you alive.”

These books are really short so you can’t expect too much; the story is developing as you read each book but you still move forward in terms of getting to know Logan better and seeing the beginning of Logan and Summer’s relationship. The sex was once again off the charts, I love the dirty talk and how it seems each novella is going to look into different fantasises.

“I’d had so much sex over the years, especially the last four, some downright kinky, but nothing, nothing compared to the way my mind and body felt with Summer beneath me.”

My only worry is that this could get a little repetitive. If we keep following Logan as he attends different woman for their night of hot sex I can see myself maybe getting a little tired of the same thing? But I am hoping what we will see in the next few novellas is Logan and Summer’s relationship and how or even if they come together and the dramas that will unfold!

ARC copy provided for an honest review. Another short, steamy book by CJ Fallowfield! Logan Steele is a sexy hunk who has skills, skills with every part of his body! Book 2 is even hotter than book 1 in this series! Really loved Logan and Summer! Too bad he wasn't a gigolo because that would make a great couple for a book by itself! Summer is a quiet, kept to herself kind of girl. Still living with her parents, she hires Logan to take her virginity because she feels she needs to for a big role in a movie she was picked for where she has to fake sex scenes. When she meets Logan for their "appointment" she is attracted to him big time not knowing he has been fantasizing about her before actually meeting her. Logan knows this is a big no no but he just can't help it! The attraction is noticeable by both. He learns that he is truly taking her virginity and feels protective of her. He shows her exactly how sex should feel, not the experience she almost encountered at a young age that scared her to death of it! He makes her want it many of times actually. They are so good together. But all good things must come to an end and its an end that both do not want to encounter but must. Logan then wipes out her info so he is not tempted and won't accept another offer from her. He must move on and that he does with his next appointment soon to come. Logan, Logan, Logan (sigh), the sex goddess! Another book boyfriend material!

If there was man that for one night, just one night who could make your sexual fantasies come true would you pay him?
Logan Steele is just the man!

In this second book of the For One Night series Logan Steele finds himself in a rare situation that he is instantly attracted to his client by just seeing her picture.

Summer Beresford has requested Logan woo her, dine her, seduce her, treat her like a virgin teaching her how to please a man.

The night brings amazing surprises for both of them.

Virgin for the Night has erotic scenes that are so delicious, electric and intense that the reader may require a fan or cold shower, they are just too HOT!

C.J. Fallowfield seduces the reader with Logan’s “I’m devilish handsome, seriously ripped, well hung, charismatic and highly sexed.” statement, then makes the reader fall in love with “Last night had been the most Incredible night of my life….”.

I am not sure how C.J. Fallowfield does it yet each time I read ones of her books I find myself entertained on so many levels that I am still thinking about the story and characters days later.

Looking forward to learning more about Logan Steele in the next For the Night book, Filthy for the Night.

Honoured to read and review for my honest opinion.

I've been fortunate enough to be able to read the first two books in Ms. Fallowfield's "For the Night" series early, and just as Strangers for the Night, this book is all kinds of great and funny with plenty of hot sexy times.

Logan isn't a man who does the romantic side of hot sexy times; he's more raw and hard about it. But there's just something about Summer that brings out his previously untapped gentle side when it comes down to getting it in. Don't get me wrong, he still wants to ride the Pound Town Express with Summer, but he realizes that there is a possibility there could be more than just one night with Summer. Not only that, Summer doesn't even realize that he's sharing his genuine feelings for her, she thinks it's all just part of his assignment.

I was surprised by Logan's decision at the end of the book, and I hope before the end of the series Logan ends up on a new path where he needs to be.

ARC Copy for an honest review. Logan Steele is a smooth operator, but I think that he has found a crack in his armor with Summer Beresford. Logan is a professional gigolo that is hired to spend one night with Summer...a virgin who wants to learn all there is about sex for a new role she is playing on a tv show. Logan knows there is something different about Summer the moment he looked at her picture. Summer feels a connection to Logan even though she knows he is just "doing his job". They spend one beautiful night together and develop feelings that neither of them saw coming.

This book left me wanting more of Logan Steele. Being a lover of happy endings I was hoping for a different ending...but one never knows:) Summer Beresford could be the one to make Logan Steele want to retire;)! Great read!!!!

Virgin for the Night was just a spectacular as the first book in this series, Strangers. I'm seriously getting hooked on Logan and his magnetic personality. No wonder all of his clients are completely satisfied;) Where can a woman find his digits;)

Summers is an actress who hired Logan to teach her how to 'act' bedroom scenes. Logan does more than fulfills her needs. He takes her virginity and gives her the best night of her entire life. After being with a man like him, she'll never be able to find another in comparison. Even though Logan decided to take the next job, I believe things aren't over between them. I'm anxious to read the entire series to see if Logan will finally end up with the woman of his dreams.

Great job author CJ Fallowfield.

Now that's what I'm talking about!

What a fantastic story. I'm such a romantic at heart and I loved how nervous Logan Steele was in the beginning of this book. This man pleases women for money - he is paid outrageous fees to pleasure them - and he is as nervous as a schoolboy about to kiss his first date. I loved it.

His client, Summer Beresford, grabs your heart from the beginning. She still lives at home with her mum and dad. Everything about her screams innocence and inner beauty. You can't help but cheer Logan on in his perfectly laid out seduction.

My heart just ached for poor Logan at the end of this book. I wanted to shake these two characters and force them to see what was right before their eyes, but alas, then there would be no more books to read in the series. But it's going to kill me to read about Logan with anyone else after this.

Grrrr.....

SWOON!!! I just flat out wanted a night (or more) *wink* with Logan after reading “Strangers for the Night”, but now I absolutely LOVE him. We get to see some of his sweet and gentle side in “Virgin for the Night”, and all I can say is SWOON! Summer wants to be treated like a “Virgin for the Night”, she wants the sweet and perfect first time experience. This may be a first for Logan in many ways, but he is more than willing to fulfill this fantasy. He may even get a few surprises of his own.

Again CJ has given us an awesome book that is hot, steamy, and extremely sexy. Oh I can’t wait for more Logan Steele and the fantasies he can fulfill. I defiantly need to make a couple of bookings with him.

I was gifted this arc by the author in return for an honest review. My description of this book is hot, hot, hot. Logan Steele is sizzling in book one but in this second book, he is off the Richter scale. Logan faces his toughest client yet and it's all because he feels a connection to her, which is something he swore he would never do. But Logan cannot stay away from temptation and vows to give Summer a night she will never get. But Logan underestimates the sweet, innocent, intoxicating charms of Summer and the connection feels even deeper in the moment. Can Logan remain professional or will he take the leap and give into his emotions. You need sunglasses and factor 100 to read this book as it is seriously hot. CJ has created one hot, sexy book boyfriend.

In Strangers for the Night it took in a little bit to like Logan. In Virgin for the Night, I not only like Logan but now I absolutely love Logan. Logan is cocky and great at what he does. She has just been cast in a role in a movie as a young submissive and she needs help getting into character so she requests Logan's services. Summer requests for Logan is to “makes love to her like it is her first time". Logan usually doesn't do sweet and tender but he's drawn to Summer. Logan find out pretty quick the Summer is actually a virgin.

I love Logan and Summer together. Summer and Logan definitely have crossed Logan's rules and emotions were involved. I hope Summer pops up in Logan's life again. I can't wait to read the next one Filthy.

I didn’t think I could fall in love with Logan Steele any more than I had already but dammit I have! I loved this book as I got to see a sweeter side to Logan. The way he was with Summer was just adorable. He treated her like a princess and I really enjoyed reading about it. He was the complete opposite to how he was in the first book. Summer was sweet and innocent compared to Logan but they fitted together like a jigsaw puzzle. They were absolutely perfect. This is another amazing instalment in the ‘For The Night’ series and I can’t wait to devour the next one. I hope we see more of Summer as I think her and Logan are completely perfect for each other. I adore C.J.’s writing! 5 hard as Steele stars!

In the previous novella in this series (Strangers for the Night), this booking with Summer Beresford was mentioned and was clearly already on Logan's mind.

This book had a very different feel to that one. The author has skillfully introduced another side to Logan - a teeny tiny bit of insecurity. And I like Logan a whole lot more as a result.

I engaged with the entire story in a different way too - mainly because the female protagonist wasn't a spoilt brat!

Once again, this was consumed in one sitting. A deliciously tasty morsel.

Amazingly Beautiful...Sweet and Tender

This is a hard review for me to write cause I'm so emotional right now. I love Logan Steele but I really want to know the man behind him. I loved Summer and really think he should of gave in and kept her. He should of let her in. They had this insanely sweet chemistry that I know Logan craves in his personal life. Man he needs Summer in his life. Ok bring on book number 3.

Logan Steele is a personal trainer by day and by night a high priced escort. He is super excited about his next client - Summer Beresford, an aspiring actress.

Yet when he meets Summer he knows that he wants more than he can give her. Can he make her fantasies come true without falling for her in the process?

This was a super interesting and of course incredibly hot!

I really wondered how Logan was going to handle Summer since he kept thinking about her from the moment he saw her file. I was not disappointed at all with how he treated her during their date and he was so amazingly patient with her!

I was so mad at him at the end though as I knew she got under his skin but I can't believe what he did what he did!

I'm curious to see what happens next and whether or not he can forget about her!!

This is a good book, one thing wrong with it though, it didn't end the way I wanted it to.

A MUST READ---Another HOT and SEXY READ by C.J. Fallowfield!!

****ARC provided for an honest review****

I'd have to honestly say this book was better than the first. You REALLY need to read the first book in the series to follow Logan's character development.

Virgin For The Night shows us a complete different side of Logan I wasn't expecting after his night with Camilla Domville. Logan shows his sensitive side he hides from us and himself.

When we last left him in "Strangers For The Night", he was reluctantly and nervously preparing for his night with Summer Beresford. He knows going in that this is going to be difficult because somehow, deep in his stomach and heart he is starting to feel things he shouldn't for a "client".

In four years he's never been nervous to meet a client. He longs to be himself, be called by his real name, and to just be in a normal relationship.

When they first come face to face, SPARKS FLY!!!!
The electricity between the two can't be denied when their breaths hitch and they go lightheaded after their first kiss.

Summer is an up in coming actress who is down to earth, has a sense of humor, sweet, and very self-conscious of herself and her body. Her past has tainted her view on sex that makes this story all too sweet when Logan handles her with the care she needs. She is so nervous and Logan senses her uneasiness. He tries to ease her discomfort but it backfires and she suddenly gets up to walk out. This reaction knocks him off his game.
He states it best:
"No one had ever left, no one."

I won't give away why she wanted to leave but it makes the fantasy she requested from him all too real for her. This is a complete game changer because this is when all the feelings he had been hiding surface with a vengeance.

"Summer had cast some spell over me, not since I'd split up with my ex four years ago had I needed someone so badly."

"To have someone who wanted the real me, not Logan the seductor, but me.Occasionally for someone to ask how I was feeling,to show the sort of care and concern for me that I did for them. I wanted to be someone's everything".

Throughout this story, Logan becomes aware of his feelings and as their night goes on so does their connection to each other. He teaches her about sex and she unearths his heart.

Their goodbye was not how I would've liked because I love HEA's (I'm a romantic at heart) but I hope our talented Author C.J. Fallowfield isn't done with Logan and Summer just yet.

I leave you with the word DELETE!

You will have to read this second installment of the "For The Night Series" to uncover the impact this one word has on Logan and Summer.

Another 5 stars for C.J. Fallowfield!!! Keep up the great work :)

I didn’t think things could get any hotter than the first volume in this series, Stranger For the Night, but wow did Logan Steele up his game! In the last book, we are introduced, albeit briefly, to Logan’s next client, a young up and coming actress named Summer Beresford. She has just been cast in a role in a movie as a young submissive. She has requested Logan’s services for the night requesting that he “makes love to her like it is her first time”. What Logan doesn’t know is, it really is Summer’s first time.

If it weren’t bad enough that Logan had been taken with Summer before they even met, to know that she was a virgin on top of it all only fueled the passion he felt for her. Needless to say, by the end of the night, Summer was no longer a virgin and the two each felt feelings that neither of them were prepared to deal with. Would Logan be willing to give it all up to be with the only woman whom has ever made him feel? Can Summer get over the feeling of loss knowing that she was only a client of his and she could have been just anyone to him?

It will be interesting to see how Logan evolves over the course of the remaining books, I get the feeling we may not have seen the last of Summer, or at least I hope not!

While this is the second book in the series it can be read as a standalone. I highly suggest reading the first one though as it sets up the beginning of the “relationship” between Logan and Summer, and the difference in how Logan handles his other clients. Each client has different fantasies and Logan must prepare for them, however kinky or different they might be.

I was already a fan of Ms. Fallowfield’s after reading the first book in the Austin series, but this series has only confirmed her brilliance as a writer. The sex scenes are hot, the characters are well developed, and unlike a lot of erotica, there is an actual plot, not just a one hundred-page sexfest. This is easily a short, steamy, five star read.

The next book, Filthy For the Night, scheduled for release in December, sounds like it is going to be AMAZING. Logan is a master of dirty talk and seduction and throw some filthy requests in there and the story is going to be downright molten.

Fallowfield - Virgin for the Night

I've been very lucky that CJ Fallowfield has graciously gifted me a number of her books for review. So I've read quite a few. Let me say this: Virgin for the Night is my favorite!

Overall Rating: 4.5 stars- Kept telling myself “just one more chapter.”

Okay, so Logan is a male escort. A very well-paid, in-demand male escort. In the previous book - Strangers for the Night - we get to see Logan being aggressive, dominant and even underhanded. But in this book we get to see him sweet. Holy crap, sweet Logan is a sight to behold?

The interactions between Logan and Summer are super hot, but also surprisingly emotional. It would be easy not to like Logan, or for Summer to seem pathetic, but they just felt good together.

I'm actually a little nervous to read the remaining books because I know Logan's going to have other clients before he ends up back with Summer (and he damn well better end up back with Summer!) and it's going to hurt me. But I'm going to have to get through it, because I can't wait to see Logan in love.
"I'm being serious, Summer. I'll be fucking furious if I see you on the red carpet looking like some famine victim."

This whole For a Night series is full of erotic tales, so if you're looking for something to spice up your night, they're great. But this little tidbit was also sweetly romantic and a nice addition to the more salacious installments of the series.
"But I need more, tell me I can have it, tell me I can have you."

Smut Factor: 5 stars- Had to wake my husband at 2am to quench my “need.”
Character likability: 4 stars- I wish we were friends.
Storytelling: 4 stars- Totally bought it.
Writing and editing quality: 3 stars - A few errors, but nothing that took away from the story.

WOW! I think I have been rocked to my very foundation! Virgin for the Night has literally put me on my arse and I want to crawl under my comforter and not leave it for a month!
I know that is such a loaded statement, but in all honestly it really doesn’t do justice to this book! But before I launch into the story, I just want to say that C.J. Fallowfield has completely knocked it out of the park with this book. The writing is flawless, the characters are whole, not one dimensional, but alive. I literally got sucked into this book and became a part of it and so very few authors manage to do that, but C.J. Fallowfield has managed to do it with every one of her books, but this one more than most.
So on with the story, we caught a glimpse of Summer in a file Logan was reading in Stranger for the night, but she is even more sweet and innocent in real life. She has managed to summon her courage to contact Logan. She is a virgin and has a lower self-esteem than she should have, but she was trust from working in bar to having her life changed overnight. But the night actually comes where she is actually going to meet Logan and now she is nervous.
Logan seems (to me at least) also a little nervous, he doesn’t understand these feeling that Summer has inspired in him, and every moment she is in his presence, she is effecting him more and more. I am actually, going to stop my retelling of the story there, because I would be giving away the entire story.
My recommendation for this book is read it when you have a day after you finished, so you have a day over it. This book seriously gave me a book hangover, so much so that I couldn’t read another book for 3 days, which led my husband to ask me if I was sick.
Virgin for the night is simply a masterpiece that moved me so much that I don’t have words. So now it comes down to the scoring, and without trying to make a mockery of my whole scoring system, I give Virgin for the Night 10+ out of 10.
