I'm so happy to announce this installment was everything I was hoping for!!
DeVon and Krissy's story continues right where it left off in book 2.
This installment had the "meat" I was hoping for, we finally got to see these guys accept their feelings and follow them.
Moral of this story? COMMUNICATION is key.
But, it was awful comical to watch this lesson play out ;)
Explosive chemistry, sweet romance, humorous moments, and seriously HOT erotica all came together to make the conclusion to this series everything I had hoped it would be.

I'll definitely read more by M.S. Parker!

I loved this book, finally after all the tension and chemistry it made me smile that I saw Devon in a new light. 

This book picks straight up from where it left off in Volume 2. Throughout Devon has been this macho ass and I knew there was a reason behind it, he had been hurt in a past relationship. I love Krissy's character, she takes no crap and I love that about her. 

I'm glad that after all the bickering and love/hate between them both that they finally found a way to be civil and stop the bull crap and give in.

Out of all three this was my favourite. I will continue to read all books by this author, considering these are quite short volumes it doesn't feel like it when reading them.

After the cliffhanger of an ending on volume 2, we finally get to see what happens! Whew! As usual between this dynamic couple they still have their ups and downs and each are so stubborn. However, the book was just as good as the other two and such a good read. I love this couple and I really wish there was just one more installment, I hate to see it end.

Characters: Some of the issues each character dealt with, jealousy, trust, etc., are what we all deal with in real life so some aspects of this story and the characters were really easy to relate to.

Sex: oh yeah and H.O.T.

Imagine my delight late last night when this arrived on my Kindle. Thank you so much Ms Parker for giving me the perfect ending to my weekend - even if I am going to be tired all week!

After the misunderstandings of book 2, it was time for some issues to be tied up, for two people to come to terms with their new reality, and for us to get the outcome we want. Does it happen? Well, you will have to wait until it is released to find out - but I can tell you that it is a good read... and there is more promised from the group of characters that we have grown to love through Club Prive and beyond!

Vol III gives us a better perspective as to what these characters are all about. Devon has proven he is a domineering, total alpha, confusing man. Can he get past what Krissy has done? Krissy is a strong female that knows what she wants. Does that still include Devon?

The drama between the two continues with the questions answered from Vol II. This was a great read. I loved the characters and how it was all brought together in the end.

A-MAZ-ING!!!

This is the third and final installment of Chasing Perfection!!! I am in L-O-V-E with DeVon & Krissy and also M.S. Parker!!! Krissy & DeVon, both self titled no commitment types, are drawn to each other even after they hook-up. It is so not like them to be interested for very long in a monogamous relationship but they can't seem to get enough of one another, there's only one problem they're either perfect for one another or they're going to kill one another. Thankfully DeVon & Krissy manage to make it through with a HEA!!!

And thankfully in November 2014 M.S. Parker revealed more to DeVon & Krissy's story is going to be released. We did get an HEA but M.S. Parker sure knows how to build up and always seems to leave you wanting more, in a very delicious way!!!

I wasn’t sure if I was going to enjoy this series after reading the first installment, as I thought the main character was a sadistic prick. But I am glad I hung in there as he began to show different facets and I saw a glimmer of hope. While he is still pretty much a bastard to most by the end of the tale, he is somewhat lovable, and actually has a beating heart some redeeming qualities. The book is easy to read and easy to follow. The erotic fantasy and musings are edgier than the sensual scenes, and may be disturbing to some. M.S. Parker always brings the steam.

The drama continues and truths are revealed between DeVon and Krissy .. the character development by MS Parker is deeper so that you get a better glance at who this characters really are .. DeVon - more than the arrogant prick we were first introduced to; Krissy - a strong woman who's discovering what she wants out of life. As previous twists and turns are straightened out, other ones are thrown at them, but MS Parker manages to bring it all home with a HEA!

In this Volume DeVon realizes that he should have never encouraged Krissy to flirt and ultimately suggest that she go to Carter’s house to “discuss” casting some of their clients. He rushed to stop her but she has already left her office. When he gets to Carter’s house there she is in a robe. Of course he assumes the worst thing happened, which isn’t the case. She lets him think this because 1. If that’s who he thinks she is than he isn’t worth correcting and 2. She kinda likes that is mad that she slept with someone else so easily, it means he might care. That is until he practically calls her a whore. He of course has to get back at her somehow. How dare she one up him like that. Only when he sets about doing it he can’t follow through. Every time he thinks about sex he can only get it up when he thinks of Krissy, but then he imagines her having sex with Carter and gets pissed and can’t get it up. He decides that he can’t keep doing this back and forth thing. He can’t get her out of his head and is realizing he really likes her and he has only ever liked on other person like this and that ended in heartache he doesn’t want that again. He must decide is Krissy is worth taking a chance at heartache again. He begins showing Krissy a different side of himself not so much to get her back but to be atleast a friend and coworkers. Will it work? Will she want to be with him again or will he get his heart broke again?
I love this series. DeVon goes through a major change through this series. At first he this love and leave them type. Until he meets Krissy, something about her is different and he wants to be different for her. He feels this overwhelming need to protect her in all ways. He wants to shake off the feeling at first but he can’t seem to do that. She also feels something more for him. Krissy also doesn’t have a problem just sleeping with someone. They are a lot alike. This is what DeVon needs. Someone who will not just blindly go along with whatever he says. I really loved reading how their story unfolds and how they come together. I look forward to reading more about them.

4.5 Star Review Chasing Perfection Part 3 by MS Parker

I received this ARC for an honest review.

Chasing Perfection is a spin off series from Club Prive. This is the third and final instalment to Krissy Jensen and DeVon Ricci’s story. This is not a book to be read as a standalone but must be read in order to follow the development of all characters.

DeVon is the owner of Mirage Talent where Krissy works. He is a dominant alpha and I have to admit in book one I did not like him at all. By book three, I am happy to admit I totally love DeVon. I am not sure of the last book I read where the two main characters were so good at communicating with everyone except each other. So much so that I wanted to actually yell at them.

As with the other two instalments, you can almost feel the heat scorching you as you read this book. It is obvious that DeVon is ruled by his past and the fact that he doesn’t want to love Krissy (and doesn’t believe any woman can be trusted) is what he struggles with. Krissy on the other hand wants DeVon and has no qualms in reaching for the stars. Her biggest issue is that DeVon keeps changing the rules and she cannot understand how the game is supposed to be played.

After many false starts, DeVon and Krissy finally get on the same page and what follows was exactly what I expected from an M S Parker book. Hot, sizzling, over the top orgasms so mush sex, sex and more sex. With a couple of surprising twists, DeVon and Krissy eventually get their hard fought and hard won HEA. They are so well suited for each other.

I was also very excited to learn that DeVon and Krissy will be returning in a new series towards the end of the year and I cannot wait to see what new mischief and adventure these two get up to.

Devon’s last serious relationship ended because she was cheating. Although Devon and Krissy aren’t technically in a relationship, Devon sees red when he finds Krissy only dressed in a robe answering the door at another man’s house. Words in anger were spoken and Krissy was too angry to tell Devon the truth of why he found her there and in dressed in that state. Devon felt regret for the words he spoke to Krissy out of anger and also felt responsible for the assumption that Krissy had slept with Carter. He did nothing to dissuade the flirtations between the two. Despite the feelings, he could not apologize when all he could imagine is Krissy in bed with Carter.

Back at work, Devon is not going to make life easy for Krissy. He set it up for her to walk in on him spanking another woman. He wanted her to know that he had moved on and she had not hurt him. Devon was however unable to simply move on as he had done in the past.

Krissy was ready to quit but was determined not to let Devon win. She went out for a night on the town and tried to move on herself, but found that she too was unable to just simply move on to the next lover.

Devon still felt regret for how he treated Krissy. He hatched a new plan. Since he couldn’t have her as a lover, he would make it up to her and at least keep her as an agent and possible friend if not ally. He had just landed a big client in a big role. To celebrate, Devon planned a weekend trip to Vegas for himself, the client (Landon) and Krissy.

This trip shows Krissy a different side of Devon. Will it be enough to fix their relationship? Will she be able to forgive him for the things he said to her? Will Devon learn the truth that Krissy didn’t sleep with Carter? What does the future hold for these two? Read! This was the perfect conclusion to this series. I loved every moment of the ride and would happily do it all over again. The books are well written and you easily immerse into the story. If you have not read this series yet, go 1-click today!

YAY! I was seriously beginning to wonder if these two were ever going to get their act together. I suppose that in a town where everything is “spin,” it’s hard to have open communication. But the way Krissy and DeVon nearly destroyed everything with their inability to ask questions of one another definitely kept me on the edge of my seat as I dove into Volume III.

As the previous two volumes provided insight into Krissy and DeVon as individuals, Chasing Perfection: Vol. III was all about whether or not they would work as a couple, especially when they both were used to being the one in control. While there was tons of DRAMA along the way and new characters to love (Landon and Franco) and hate (Krissy’s mom), this was definitely the romance part of the series. Witnessing DeVon realize exactly how much he had messed up and wondering whether or not he could fix it was great. Even better was Krissy acknowledging the mistakes she had made along the way and her willingness to meet him halfway.

Chasing Perfection: Vol. III is an excellent end to the series. The relationship development, the drama, and the sex (oh so freaking hot) all worked together beautifully. I thoroughly enjoyed the author’s writing style and the characters she creates. I’m looking forward to reading Ms. Parker’s next series, Sinful Desires, as well as going back and reading her Club Privé series.

I have read and reviewed the previous two books in this series and both received 5 stars. And once again M. S. Parker has done it again! I loved this story as much as the others and am actually sad that this novella series has finished…although this isn’t the last we have seen of DeVon and Krissy.

This book has all the elements which made me love the first two. It’s so hot and sexy, entertaining, it flows great, I adore the characters and did I mention how sexy it is. In this one DeVon and Krissy’s relationship definitely develops more than it has in the other two and we see a sweeter side to DeVon, although he is still the sexy as hell dominant we know and love.

“It wasn’t about fucking her hard and fast, about how deep I went. I was inside her as she rotated her hips, as her muscles flexed around me, and it wasn’t just enough. It was more. It was everything.”

DeVon and Krissy are brilliant characters. Krissy is strong, clever, funny, honest and confident. A woman I would want to know and be friends with. She stands up for herself and is striving in a very much male dominated job. DeVon is sexy, clever but also we see a sweeter side to him which just made him even more irresistible.

“And that was always what I was looking for, what I was chasing: perfection.”

The plot at always was funny, fast paced, full on hot sex scenes, drama and this time watching more of a relationship grow. I fully recommend this series and will be very impatiently waiting for the next series where we will continue to follow DeVon and Krissy.

This is the 3rd volume in the Chasing Perfection series and should be read in order.
Volume two left us with Krissy getting in a car accident on her way to visit Carter, meanwhile DeVon was on his way to Carter’s to talk to Krissy. She will not apologize for what DeVon thinks has happened and DeVon can’t forget what he saw. After a series of misunderstanding and a visit from DeVon’s brother, which helps both of them, see they need each other more than they could know. If only they could get past everything life could be perfection.
I was given this book in exchange for an honest review. I love how M. S. Parker completed DeVon and Krissy story. Keeping with both POV kept us readers knowing what both were thinking. With all the misunderstandings and obstacles being put in their way I was beginning to think these two would never smarten up and get past their issues to see their way back to each other. Krissy stayed true to herself, a strong, smart woman who doesn’t need a man to complete her. Through the series she struggled with the actions of DeVon and was ready to move on until she realize that won’t fix the problem. DeVon remained a pigheaded alpha male until his brother pointed out that he will never get Krissy if he didn’t finally get over what happened to make him closed off to everyone and everything including love. M. S. Parker wrote another awesome book and completed this hit series perfectly! I’ll be watching out for her next book as she has become one of my must read authors!!!

This was a wonderful ending to a very good series. The story picks up where Volume II left off or maybe a few seconds before. Devon can’t believe what’s in front of him. But he does and says some things that he can’t take back. Throughout the book he struggles with what he feel and tries to live with what he believes happened. He doesn't do a very good job.

In this book we see a more human side to Devon, he isn’t the arrogant prick we met in Volume I. Spending time with Chrissy ruined Devon for all other women. But how does he forgive her for doing exactly what he told her to do? That's what we discover in this final installment of Chasing Perfection. It’s again 4 easy stars for Chasing Perfection III and I can't wait to see what else M. S. Parker has for us.

5 SIZZLING STARS!

And we get the epic conclusion to Krissy and DeVon's story! The ending of book two was a massive cliffhanger that left me with my mouth open. And this installment did not disappoint one bit.

Krissy will not apologize and DeVon realizes he has made a crap load of mistakes and assumptions that Krissy didn't deserve. As these two go head to head, only one will come out on top. Will DeVon and Krissy be able to move past all of the secrets and lies and open their hearts to love?

I fell in love with DeVon in this book. While I always thought he was kind of an ass (and he did hit the all time high for that in this book in a particular scene), he did prove himself in this book. I also loved Krissy. I loved her no taking shit from DeVon attitude. I also loved how she finally stood up to her mother.

I will have to say that I was shocked to find out this is the last installment in this series. However, I am happy we will be getting more of these two in a future series (per the author at the end of this book) because I honestly wouldn't have minded another installment in this series. I felt it was not left open but the storyline could continue a bit more!

M.S. Parker did an excellent job of wrapping up the Chasing Perfection series. The emotions run deep and the sexual tension is palpable. When I started this series I measured it against the Club Prive series and was a little disappointed. However, volumes two and three amped up the storyline. There were several unexpected twists from DeVon that blew me away. For a man that doesn't do emotional ties, he really surprised me. Could a man in lust really be headed toward love? As unlikely as that seems for DeVon; it just might be the case.

The book picks up immediately after the abrupt ending of book two. Krissy has been in an accident and DeVon finds her in a situation that he totally misunderstands. Roadblocks are thrown in the couple's way, by people with their own agendas. Walls, that were coming down, are hastily built back up and reinforced. Everything that happens in Vegas doesn't always stay there.The scenes with Landon, one of Devon's clients are more than entertaining. There are a couple of wonderful scenes in Vegas and a family twist that could blow the couple out of the water. The question for both parties becomes; do they tell the truth or try to hide behind their secrets? I am sad to see the series end, but I almost think that there will be more to the story in the future. At least, I hope that is the case.

I must say that I am disappointed that this has come to an end because I was loving me some DeVon and Krissy. I loved the fact that DeVon jumped to conclusions and that no matter what he did he could never get over the fact of Krissy, although he was a prick to Krissy and everyone for that matter I must say that he got what he deserved and found someone that is more suited for him than anyone could be. The back and forth between these two was the best ever because they were always trying to one up the other and we all know that all secrets must come out and boy when they came out they were explosive. After DeVon found out that he was wrong I loved trying to see him make it up to Krissy and all the things that he was willing to do to make them right. Landon was a great addiction to the story because we finally got to see another side of DeVon that was never shown. Was this the perfect wrap up of a great book and couple? Yes it was. Do I want more of them? Yes I do but in the mean time I just have to enjoy the way that this story wrapped up and be glad that I got to experience the end of DeVon and Krissy

The final episode of DeVon and Krissy. Both are strong characters and neither wants to relinquish the power. When these two met in book 1 they fought the connection and the attraction they felt. Finally giving in to their desire, they had an out of this world sexual encounter. They clash and fight; they battle for power; giving it and taking it. Their relationship never takes off due to this struggle and their inability to give in to their feelings. Book 2 ends when DeVon feels regret that he had made Krissy feel she had to bed Carter in order to seal the deal. He decides to go after her and is shocked/devastated/fuming when Krissy opens Carter’s door in only a robe. In this final episode they continue to fight their feelings and attraction to each other. They break down the barriers and move towards each other. I love their interaction and how passionate they both are. This is a beautiful story of 2 people that learn to trust again and to give in to their feelings. They learn the rewards of letting go and opening up the heart. I would love to have more of DeVon and Krissy’s journey. A beautiful, sexy and very hot romance.

So, after MS Parker left me with my mouth hanging open at the end of Volume 2, I couldn't wait to get my hands on the final installment of this series to see what happens! In a nutshell, DeVon jumps to conclusions, Krissy decides if he wants to be an ass he can, both reconsider and a serious lack of communication needs to be overcome- whew!

I loved the introduction of Landon in the series. He is an actor on Mirage's client list and one of the few people DeVon would call a friend, and Krissy immediately feels a kinship with him too. After a few days together in Vegas, he can clearly see what the two of them aren't ready to admit to each other and helps them through it.

The author throws a few more delicious twists and jaw dropping moments in there for us, but in the end we get the payoff that I was waiting on. AND we get more Krissy and DeVon later this year in a new series!! I can't wait to see what comes next for them, but Chasing Perfection 3 leaves them in a great place that I am perfectly OK with.

I liked the ending of this series. Krissy and DeVon are seemingly perfect for each other. Neither want to give in though. Two stubborn individuals - fighting against the inevitable. You see....they're doing everything to be together but separate. He's her boss. She doesn't want people to think she got her job by sleeping the boss for it. No - that came after the job hire. The crazy thing is they're so engrossed on each other and how the other makes them feel - they keep running away instead of talking about it.

Communication is KEY to any relationship. None can survive without it. Eventually resentment sets in. So...someone has to put their big adult panties on and talk about how they feel. What they want from the other. Before that happens let's see if we can't hurt the other one with assumptions or actual caught in the act events. Come on people, get it together!

Awesomely written. I like this series and looked forward to reading each one. I believe you'll like it too.

This Volume picks up where the last has left off. DeVon and Krissy are barely speaking despite their powerful attraction to each other. Will they be able to overcome the misunderstandings? Will they be able to put their pride and past behind them? Will they be able to stop chasing perfection and see what they have is right there in front of them?

Once again I was drawn right into the story. Both the characters and the story line had me intrigued and wanting to know more. It was jam packed with steamy encounters, drama, sex and personal relationships. I definitely recommend this series. Pick this up for a fun and spicy read!

This was great , I was ready to see a resolution but also hoping for a bit more drama and heat !! This 3rd installment delivered all that and more. It seems a little longer than the others but it was perfect. Started off right where #2 left off , take that Devon !! We have this juvenile game going on between Krissy and Devon and it drives you crazy !! He is actually falling for her and he has no clue what to do with himself. He tries making her jealous , he tries ignoring , he tries being friends. It is funny to see him squirm !! Krissy feels the same but she is doing a great job at hiding it from him but not herself. Surprise surprise we have a few little twists in here. Once the cards are on the table it is refreshing to see how open and honest they can be with their feelings !! Yay they both grew up and have come so far !! I enjoyed this series and it says we will see more of them in a different series so yay for that !! I also know now that I need to read Club Prive , because I love the writing and hotness !!

YES! This series keeps getting better and better. You have to read the first two books before this one. And even though DeVon and Krissy spend most of this book apart, they are never far from the others mind.

I loved how they kept trying to out do the other, still even though they were on less than friendly terms. Thankfully, DeVon was able to pull his head out of the sand. I liked the plan he set into motion with the help of one of his friends, Landon. Landon brought the laughter and fun with him when they took off to Vegas. I loved how he brought out the playful side of DeVon that I hadn't seen yet. Krissy was her usual spitfire self and decided to go for what she wanted (big shocker there). I loved that she made DeVon wait for it, because when they got together it was completely worth all the drama that it took to get them there. It was great seeing this softer, lighter side to the both of them. Oh and when DeVon pulled his little stunt for Krissy at the auction my heart just melted. That ending was perfectly them. I just hope they can keep their happiness.

In this final installment of the series, we find out if Devon and Krissy figure out if they want to try for something together or if the dance they have been doing is even worth it. Devon is completely out of his league with the feelings he has for Krissy. Krissy is just having a hard time playing the game that Devon seems to be pushing on her.

Another outstanding book from Ms. Parker. The chemistry between the 2 main characters is electric and the flow of her writing style is seamless. I love her character development and the drama that she creates between the 2. Intriguing and captivating this book is a great finale for the series. She answers the questions asked across all the books and wraps this up nicely.

I can’t wait to see what she has up her sleeve for the next book series. She’s a magician behind the pen and will lead me on a path that I truly cannot wait to take.

Chasing Perfection III is the third book Chasing Perfection series. This book picks up right where the second book left off. Krissy opening the door to Devon who automatically assumes she slept with Carter thus begins the back-and-forth between the two. Krissy and Devon are able to ignore and avoid each other for a while but they eventually have to meet face-to-face. Devon tries to seek solace with other women but finds he is still thinking of Krissy. A business trip to Vegas with a client find both Devon and Krissy longing for each other and thinking about giving each other another chance.

I enjoyed this third book of the series. I was already vested with the characters from the previous books and was interested to find out what was going to happen next with them and their relationship. I didn’t think this book had as much of the “hot” factor as the previous two but focused more on Krissy and Devon's relationship.
