Three Weddings and a Billionaire: A Fake Dating Romance

Rate this book
He needs a fake girlfriend. She needs a flawless wedding season. Neither of them expected to catch real feelings.

Reese Thatcher is a globe-trotting billionaire heir with a reputation for wild nights and zero commitment. But when his family threatens to cut him off, he needs to clean up his image—fast. And what better way than showing up to his brother’s wedding weekend with a serious girlfriend?

Callie Harrington lives for love—other people’s, that is. As Cedar Ridge’s top wedding planner, she’s landed the biggest job of her organizing three weddings for three billionaire brothers. The pressure is intense. The last thing she needs is to get tangled up in someone else’s drama—especially the sexy, reckless best man who suddenly announces she’s his girlfriend.

What starts as a harmless lie quickly spirals into a full-blown charade. Three weddings. One shared room. Constant family scrutiny. And chemistry they can’t fake—no matter how hard they try.

He promised it was just pretend.

She swore she wouldn’t fall.

But the lines between fake and real, on and off, and love and hate, are thin and starting to blur. And suddenly both are left wondering whether reputation and success are really worth breaking your heart.

A sizzling high-heat romance, and the final installment in the Cedar Ridge Billionaires series, this book is as hot as they come.

Thanks to book buzz PR for this book. This is 3.5-4 stars. This is really is a novella. A palate cleanser of a book that I finished very quickly. It started off a little rough as the MMC was very unlikable. I had the biggest grimace on my face as he was a spoiled rich boy and that is not the vibe right now. However, he does learn his lesson. He begs on his knees, my friends. BEGS. He grows and learns. He also became obsessed with his fake girlfriend Callie. This book is low drama. Spicy. It’s a great read for anyone trying to hit those read goals or wants a quick romance hit. I do wish that there were billionaire shenanigans like a private jet or a black card shopping spree. That’s the break in reality I need.

I loveeee a story with fake dating, especially when it turns hotttt🌶🌶 I finished reading this in just over an hour and loved every second of it!!

The flirting and banter were top-notch. Being such a short story, the MCs relationship was still somehow so thoroughly developed in a way that actually impressed and surprised me in such a short reading span.

Callie Hart is the only wedding planner in her small town, and she's hired to take on the planning of three of the richest men in town, all brothers, all getting married in the span of one year. Being the three largest weddings she's ever planned, she's feeling the pressure.

Reese Thatcher is the youngest of four brothers, the richest men in his small hometown. All three of his brothers are getting married; though he's not exactly ready to settle down in a committed relationship, he's feeling the pressure from his brothers to "grow up."

When Reese calls Callie his girlfriend, she gets roped into a ploy where he gets his portion of the family trust back and convinces his brothers he has grown. As she worries over her career, Callie walks the line of playing pretend, she starts to realize that maybe it's not all an act.

Toying on the edges of their fake relationship, both begin to wonder if this will lead to real heartbreak.

Fake vows, real sparks, and one very flirty billionaire on thin ice…

Tropes:
💰 Billionaire x Wedding Planner
💒 Fake Dating
💰 Novella
💒 Small Town Setting
💰 Forced Proximity

Rating: 💍💍💍 (3⭐️)
Spice: 🌶️🌶️ (👅, begging, dirty talk, degradation, nip play, praise)

Callie’s booked the wedding planning gig of a lifetime—three billionaire brothers, three over-the-top “I do’s.” What she didn’t plan on? Becoming the fake girlfriend of the youngest Thatcher brother, Reese, a charming disaster who’s suddenly been cut off from the family trust. When Reese announces their “relationship” without her consent (rude!), Callie gets swept up in a whirlwind of seductive smirks, whispered promises, and a whole lot of handsy public appearances.

This novella is quick, spicy, and fun—perfect for when you want drama-lite but heat-heavy. Reese is a lovable menace who eventually learns how to grovel (on his knees, no less). I do wish we’d gotten a deeper look at his transformation, but as a palate cleanser with fake dating and billionaire antics? This absolutely hits the spot.

I received an ARC copy and wanted to leave an honest review.

Callie and Reese . . .

Callie is a wedding planner, honorable and caring, and she agrees to accept three wealthy clients who can put her at the top of her career. Reese Thatcher thoroughly enjoys his bachelor lifestyle as a billionaire heir, not even tempted to settle down. Why should he? He gets to travel, attend wild parties, and enjoy the company of women he meets along the way. But the dream ends abruptly when his family have had enough of his reckless behavior and they cut off his good times unless he is ready to convince them he has become a responsible grown-up at last.

At a brother’s rehearsal dinner, Reese calls Callie Harrington his girlfriend and she surprisingly goes along with it. They need to keep up the fake relationship through each of the Thatcher brothers’ weddings and then they can break up. But by that time, will they really want to end it? Or have they fallen for each other and really don’t want to walk away? And when the reality that she is leaving him becomes clear, will Reese be ready to take responsibility for his shameful actions and make amends to her?

Reese is the baby of the billionaire Brothers, and content to spend his time living the frivolous, playboy life. That is until hid family stipulates he "show some growth" and grow up a bit if he wants to receive said money (well, more than a "piddly allowance." (As if!?!) Yeah, folks, he's kind of a sleeve. Solution? Find a fake girlfriend, and announce it without telling her! Unfortunately, she happens to be well known to the family - the wedding coordinator, Callie. Oye!! Thus starts a half hearted attempt to pull the wool over his brother's eyes.

My issues with the storyline are so numerous I won't recount them all for you. Unlike the previous Thatcher brother books, this one lacks any real feeling or depth. It's a whole lot of nothing until, wham, they're everything at the very end. The idea as a whole had promise (the fake dating idea), but the execution wasn't up to Ryan's traditional flare or level of storytelling. If you're wanting to complete the sibling series I'd say it's worth the read. (That was my reason for reading it at least.)

I received a gift copy from the author abd voluntarily provided this review.

A sweet novella that was packed with spice, fake dating, and billionaire weddings 💍🤍

The novella was a nice, easy read, where Reese felt pressured by his older brothers, so decided fake dating was the way to go. He presumed Callie was a 'nobody' when, in fact, she was the wedding planner who had a crush on him in high school.

Callie was a loveable FMC who you wanted to see get her HEA. I enjoyed seeing how loved she was loved by the Thatchers.

Reese started out as your typical playboy billionaire, with no responsibilities. As the story progressed, you see growth.

The only thing I was a bit unsure of was how much they were into each other when they'd hardly spent any time together or communicated. I would have liked to have seen them communicate when they were in different cities to build up that romantic relationship.

I'd recommend this to anyone who wants a short billionaire, fake-dating romance read that's a great palette cleanser.

Thank you to BookBuzzPR and Penelope Ryan this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This series couldn't have ended in a better book! I loved Reese and Callie's chemistry right from the start. Fake dating a high school crush? Check! Reese is a bit of a playboy, but with the heart in the right place. Callie is the sweetest person and just wants to fulfil her dream of becoming a successful wedding planner. Their story is undeniably funny and lovely, with all the emotions. Between the 3 weddings was possible to see all of the phases through the fake dating: denial, the maybes and the love. It was a lovely story and a great way to finish the series 💞

The only thing I would have loved to see more of was scenes of Reese and Callie when they were apart and when they were fake dating, but still denying 🤭

A small, good series that you will love if you need something to spice up your days 🔥

Callie is just doing her job as a wedding planner when she runs into a guy from high school, who also happens to be the groom’s brother. Reese is a billionaire playboy who is not ready to settle down like his brothers, but they make it a stipulation to him getting his trust fund reinstated. Is Callie the perfect girl for some fake dating?

This was a short novella. It had a lot of promise to the storyline, but the MMC just came across so sleazy the whole time. He was not very nice to Callie and he did not spend much time getting to know her-he just used her. Also, it made no sense that anyone believed they were fake dating for that long while living in different states. They hardly ever saw each other or talked. The spice was fine-only towards the end so not much of it. I would probably say skip this one.

I couldn’t put the book down. It was that good. Reese is definitely the baby of the family just living his life while his older brothers are all settling down and what not. What happens when they pull the rug from under him and try to make him grow up? If you say disaster then you would be pretty accurate. LoL. In comes poor Callie and she is somehow added to the mix. Again I couldn’t put this down. Just reading seeing how is Reese going to fix the mess he started. This is book 4 in the series. I read book 3 and loved it. This one didn’t disappoint. I loved how the family is so close and even though Reese is a pain they are still there for one another. I love a good fake dating romance. Trust me you will love it too.

What happens when 3 older brothers decide that you, as the baby of the family, hasn’t grown up to their standards? Well Reese is about to Show Them! Callie is the wedding planner for not 1 but 3 of the Thatcher Brothers weddings. Even though she grew up around the entire family she feels that she’s working for The Family of their small Montana town. When Reese opens his mouth and ropes Callie in as his fake date the games begin in earnest but mom Theresa stays in the background watching and waiting. Will Reese grow up or will the brothers be vindicated in their beliefs? Will Callie become a casualty of The Fake dating scam? A story that will make you see family dynamics, true feelings and maybe even a little bit of Love. Think about it, there are 3 weddings going on!

Billionaire romance.
Callie is a young wedding planner in her small hometown. While planning the wedding of two of the Thatcher brothers, she meets Reese, the popular boy from her high school. Following a misunderstanding, she finds herself playing the fake girlfriend of this man she loves and hates.
Reese is a wealthy heir whose inheritance rights have just been limited. The only way to unlock it is to find a girlfriend and keep her for nine months. So who better than the beautiful Callie, the only woman who stands in his way?
Will Callie and Reese have a beautiful romance, or will lies and deceit tear them apart…

Callie lives in the small town of Cedar Ridge, Montana. She is an amazing wedding planner and she gets the opportunity of a lifetime. Three billionaires ask her to plan their weddings.

During one of the weddings Reese (one of the groom’s brothers) meets Callie. At some point in the night Reese refers to Callie as his girlfriend and she goes along with it.

They begin fake dating and at some point everything becomes real. Callie doesn’t know what she wants to do and is worried about everything.

I really liked this short and sweet novella by Penelope. If you want a small town, fake dating billionaire romance. This one's for you!

First off I want to thank Penelope Ryan and Bookbuzz PR for the opportunity to read Three Weddings and a Billionaire.

Callie is our FMC. She took on planning three Thatcher weddings within a year.

Reese is the youngest Thatcher brothers and his family has cut him off from his trust and he can't get it back unless he proves he is growing up.

Reese ropes Callie into fake dating him so he can get his trust back! If he can make his relationship last over the span of his 3 brothers weddings or 9 months he gets his Trust back!

Will the fake dating turn real or will Reese just take the money and return to his playboy lifestyle? If you like fake dating romance this book is for you😊

"Thank you, BookBuzz PR for the ARC of this book. This is my honest review.

This was my first Penelope Ryan book but I will absolutely be going back and reading her other work, because this book was fantastic! A quick read, it had everything I didn’t know I needed! I absolutely loved the interactions between Callie and Reese, and loved watching the development over the course of the book!

Our FMC is Callie, a wedding planner tasked with planning the weddings of three of the Thatcher brothers. Our MMC is Reese, a fourth Thatcher brother who has been largely cut off from his trust due to his playboy and irresponsible ways. At the rehearsal dinner for one of his brothers, Reese says he and Callie are dating. The two must then fake it til they make it through all three weddings! However, as we all know, the line between love and like are very thin!"

This was a nice quick read, with a fake dating scheme that quickly turns to conflicted feelings and pining. I liked Reese's flirting and the way Callie shakes things up and makes him have to chase her and beg. Callie reluctantly gets pulled into the family drama and Reese's scheme while she continues planning his brother's weddings, but her feelings soon shift, especially with his seductive whispers and touches that leave her questioning what's real or an act.

This book was cute! I thought Reese and Callie had a nice dynamic and I loved the concept of planning his brothers' weddings while agreeing to fake date . Reese's little nickname for her was sweet also. The spice scenes were spicy and I loved that because you can see their growing connection. You can never go wrong with a billionaire romance and I truly enjoyed this one.

Favorite Quote: “You in that dress just about killed me earlier…. You’re not taking it off until I’m done with you.”

Got to say that Reese made me so mad! He truly was a trust fund baby🙄 but I love that Callie would make him work for it. The chemistry they both had together even though they denied it, it killed me when Callie kept quiet for Reese😩😭

A quick read but really sweet, the Thatcher boys are getting married with just Reese now being single, lots of banter, fun and a few steamy bits.
A great book to get you out of a slump.
