I really loved the first two books in this series and was ecstatic to get an ARC for this one's release. I couldn't WAIT for Jack's story and he was definitely everything I wanted him to be. That said, I didn't love this as much as I love the first two or as much as I thought I would - BUT, as a reminder:
3.5 stars is a POSITIVE rating, which means I DID like this book.
Jack and Bonnie had great chemistry and it was well done. The way their relationship developed was also cute. This whole read was an enjoyable reading experience overall.
So why not 5 stars?
I felt like Jack & Bonnie took a bit of a backseat to Max & Bonnie sometimes. The book starts with Bonnie fairly fresh from the breakup of a long-term relationship with Max. And that breakup acts as a bit of a touchstone throughout the entire book.
Bonnie's grief regarding the breakup sprouts up during understandable times throughout the book - even after she and Jack have started hooking up. And while that's, like I said, understandable in real life and wholly reasonable (after all, you don't want your heroine to look like a heartless shrew by somehow being able to move on too fast from an extended, serious relationship), it also felt like it took center stage a little too often for my liking. And not just in action, but in thought as well. Max and her breakup with Max occupied a lot of Bonnie's thoughts throughout the book. And it I felt like all of that drowned Jack out.
I didn't feel like enough time and attention was given to Bonnie and Jack to make me feel invested in the events of the ending. Their relationship felt rushed, unestablished, and without stakes.
Overall, through, my gripes might not strike others the same way. I did enjoy this overall and I think fans of the series will enjoy this well enough as well. Perhaps my expectations were too high and I'll ultimately upgrade it upon rereading. Or I just read this wrong the first time around. Time will tell.
***ARC received in exchange for an honest review***
I didn’t love this very much. Don’t get me wrong, the story was good and done well, the characters were amazing with great chemistry but I just hated that so much time was spent on the FMC’s ex. On top of that there was less cameo of the other characters I’ve come to love here than the previous books. Overall not a bad read just not my favorite
Wow. Jack Knight is right up there with Danny Walker (Taming Mr. Walker) for favorite billionaires who are rough around the edges, a bit mean, have filthy mouths and give off blue collar energy which is cat nip to me.
I loved this story so much. Bonnie was such a great h and I loved how she stood up for herself both professionally and personally. There is some OM drama but not in a love triangle way and I felt the angst from her breakup so badly and thought it was written so perfectly and realistically. While I'm not an angst lover with the main couple I actually love it when it's about the h and her pathetic ex.
Also Bonnie and I are the same person 😂
"listening to my reverse harem audiobooks. Volume hitched as high as it will go. I pig out on takeaways in large pants and watch 365 Days on repeat getting unreasonably emotional."
Dream night in really.
The sex as always was off the charts hot and the sexual tension melted my Kindle.
If you enjoyed the first book in this series you'll absolutely love this one and it's of course got little updates about previous couples which I loved, especially Charlie and Danny updates.
I really enjoyed the side story about Jack's dad and his murder and felt that it was a great addition to the romance.
Also that final epilogue, I really really wish we got the full play by play of that, pretty pretty please 😂🙏
Now to wait for another book from this wonderfully talented author.
I didn't expect to like this book soo much...Just the typical office romance with a CEO boss romance. Well...it was that and so much moooore.
I liked Bonnie since the first couple of chapters and I think that she was very sweet and in the meantime fiesty. She wasn't giving to Jack's attitude. Most importantly she wasn't taking his crap. You can definately see that she was attracted to him since the beginning, but she was not trusting herself after the last heartbreak with her ex-boyfriend. But comon...how can you say no to such a man 😍😍😍!
Jack...he is my dream man. Sexy alpha man from every side and with a body of a God. Even beneath all the hard attitude he was really sweet. What I liked a lot was, that even though he knew Bonnie from before and was attracted to her, he didn't wanted to be the reason for her split with her boyfriend. He was waiting patiently and knew that someday she will be his ♥️.
There were some misunderstandings between them at first, but thankfully they were disolved quickly (all this to my liking 😎).
Last, but not least...I don't have words to describe the heat level between them. It was like an explosion of sexy naughty times. The chemistry between them was a literal 🔥. I loved reading those scenes between them ♥️♥️♥️!
I really really loved the book and I am thankful I had the chance to read Bonnie and Jack's story!
I received an ARC copy of this book and this is my honest opinion.
Not as good as the first book, but miles better than the second.
BECAUSE I AM ON MY KNEES FOR JACK KNIGHT 🧎🏽♀️🧎🏽♀️ hello sir 😩🥴 ugh the man was god tier, almost too perfect and a knee to the balls reminder that fictional men do it best.
When she woke up after they’d first slept together and realised he’d put his necklace on her whilst she slept, the one his dead father gave him, I damn near passed away 😩💀 fixing all the stuff in her house?? Making sure she got home safe ?? 10/10 🙃
And their chemistry 🔥🔥🔥 off the scale. I also thought this one was funnier than the first. When Bonnie was tinder swiping for the first time I ROARED, the inner monologue nearly took me out.
Loved the Archie Knight plot line, that was different. But I do feel like their relationship development was rushed. His love declaration felt too soon, and I think this book would have benefitted from being slightly longer to further establish the stakes.
I could not put this book down I started it Tuesday evening and finished it Wednesday afternoon I was sent a early release (ARC) for a honest review and I can honestly say it was gripping, I worried because I enjoyed the other two books in the series that it may not live up to them but it sure did! The only downfall now is that I read it to quickly and that it’s over with now I wish I could start all three again without knowing what happens! I cried, laughed and got a little steamy! Would highly recommend!
I like the other books in the series better. Not a big fan of this one. I don’t like what Jack did and she just took him back even when he said all those terrible things.
5+++⭐ This is the best romance book I've read in the past year. I am obsessed with this book. Same with Taming Mr. Walker (Book #1) in series. 😎 (Didn't care for book #2)
Giving this ARC copy for a honest review. Fighting Mr Knight is the third in this series by Rosa Lucas, you follow Jack Knight story. Rosa has written this book so well you see a different side to Jack and get to meet Bonnie. I’m don’t do spoilers the synopsis of this book gives you enough to what to read it my review is that I have read the other two in this series and this one is just as good, you might feel a bit hot🔥🥵 after reading some of the intimate scenes definitely a book to read 5🌟

One of the year’s most profound disappointments. Having adored the second installment and held the first in high regard, I fully expected this volume to surpass its predecessors. Regrettably, I could not have been more mistaken. The narrative unfolded at a dizzying pace — and not in the best of ways. At times, it felt more like a brief novella than a fully realised novel.
Though there was a hint of chemistry between the protagonists, little within the story truly resonated, save for the initial wedding sequence (not a spoiler, rest assured). Indeed, were it not for those moments, this would scarcely have earned more than two stars.
In the end, only three words remain to sum up this experience: what a disappointment.
Jack and Bonnie. Bonnie has always blamed Jack for firing her dad many years ago. He is now a billionaire and has hired her architecture firm to work on his new project. They are now moved to his office building to complete the task. She has recently just broke up with her fiancee who is also her boss. Lot of tension, as Jack has secretly wanted Bonnie for a long time but did not approach her when she was getting married. Now she is free but angry at him and her ex.
1 thing I don't like about this book is the unnecessary misunderstanding, I know that's the formula in romance books, but the same misunderstanding happens over and over again.
I don't understand why the author keeps making it like Michelle Allard is something in this story when it doesn't even elaborate what her relationship/history is with the MMC.
Tropes: love after heartbreak / hero falls first / agp gap / workplace romance / billionaire romance / playboy hero & good girl / HILARIOUS banter
I absolutely LOVE Rosa Lucas and her books!! She is, hands down, my favourite find of the year! I just absolutely love her writing and storytelling.
My favourite part about it is the relatability of her female characters! They feel SO SO real and I truly believe that's what makes her stories so compelling. Well that, and, of course, the fantastic banter (which was FULL TO THE BRIM in this book), the swoony but DOMINANT MCs and the great buildup and tying up of all loose ends.
This third instalment in the London series follows Bonnie, who after recently being dumped by her ex-fiance (who is also her boss), has the opportunity of a lifetime when the company she works for as an architect wins a bid to work with the hottest property development in London - the Lexington Group, owned by none other than Jack Knight.
Jack Knight is just P-E-R-F-E-C-T-I-O-N. I love this man. He's equal parts swoon and alpha and I fell so hard for him. I also absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE Bonnie. The girl is my spirit animal. I need her to be real.
I really have nothing to add other than to tell you to READ THIS BOOK now, now now and once it releases on 17 November!
I read this as a beta and it was so so good that I didn't put it down the entire time, and literally finished reading it in 6 hours on my day off. Enough said!
Of the London Mister books, I found this one to be my favorite. The passionate romance between Jack and Bonnie is followed in this last book. These two were so tense with one another that it was apparent there was more between them, yet I adored them together from the start. My only problem with this book was the conflict at the end. I don’t want to spoil it, but I feel like the conflict was solved too quickly. I would have loved to see it develop more. Regardless, I still loved these two, and I enjoyed this book!
It had a good storyline. Fast paced which was good & luckily non of that toxic behavior of these billionaires going to confide in the next woman they see. I’m glad Jack confided in his punching bag vs Michelle.
„Jeśli wygramy przetarg, będzie to jeden z najbardziej ekscytujących epizodów w mojej karierze. Haczyk? Jack Knight.
Zdenerwowanie.
I ja to uwielbiam!
