Dylan is still struggling to find her way in a world outside the domed city of Genero. She no longer knows who to trust. Wyatt lied to her. Stiles is not what he said he was. Ellie is unreadable, hiding behind weakness and fear. Sam seems to be the only one who has not deceived Dylan in any way. But how much does she really know about him?

Redcoats drive Dylan and her friends from the relative safety of the resistance group they had been traveling with. Then gargoyles attack, but murder is not what they have in mind this time. Instead, Dylan learns that they want to use her as a weapon against the legion leaders, Luc and Lily.

Dylan must decide what role she will play in the war between the angels and the humans. Will she be a weapon, doomed to die when her role is done, or will she find a way to stop Luc and Lily and save not only the humans, but all the supernatural creatures she has come to know and respect, including the two men she loves?

I have liked Stiles from the start just saying I want him with her but I know it is unlikely.

Spoilers below if you have not read the book then stop now.

I enjoyed this book I like the characters I am getting into the story line. I have some questions though after this book.
1. Isnt it weird to be kissing the old lady cook at the facility?
2. IS this Stiles's true form or does he change again?
3. Why would Davida be removed from Genero if Lilly is her sister and Lilly made all the testing facilities?
4. Can't Angels and Gargoyles feel each other or know when the other is close? If so why wouldn't they know that Gargoyles were in Genero? Why would they let them in if they did know?
5. Why would they kick Dylan from the center if they knew she was special all a long? Now it is harder to find and harvest her.
6. Why did the other Gargoyles call Stiles brother before they were fighting if he is really an angel?

Is more being revealed next book? I will read to find out but that is a lot of questions.

Really good second book, its not exactly ground breaking and very few novels surprise me anymore, and sadly this is the same.

Apart from that it is an easy going book, it doesn't hurt your head thinking about it. It doesn't bore you too much either.

Enjoyable

I enjoyed reading this book more than found. I had a feeling that is was more than likely ellie was the one betraying everyone. I can't wait til I get the third book of the series. It was good to see that stiles finally became what I thought he was supposed to be instead of being a bad guy.
