Elizabeth Crane would give anything to avoid going out to celebrate a friends birthday. She's not into the clubbing scene, but no-one would have foretold how one night out with the girls would change her life.....forever.

Felan is a shy, but handsome computer geek. What he can't do with a computer, simply cant be done. When his brothers relocate to Queensland Australia from the USA to make a fresh start, he decides to go with them. Give him computer forensics, program design, research (hacking), and he's got it covered. But when he sees Elizabeth Crane celebrating with a group of friends, she ignites an uncontrollable fire in his blood and he is left to figure out how he can use his skills to track her down and make her his own.

A beautiful love story between the two leading characters surrounded by an amazing family. The plot is great and will keep you on your toes trying to solve the crime before the characters, plenty of twists too.
Its hard not to love the characters in these books as they are so loyal, loving and protective of each other. I highly recommend this book!

None Spoiler Review:

This is the second book in the five brothers series and it doesn't disappoint, the main characters are very strong individuals in their own right and not the typical wolf claims woman, woman submits.
But what is amazing is the story that's flowing seamlessly through from the first in the series, it is well written and even without the shifter/ erotic element would keep readers from a suspense thriller aspect hooked, and the erotic parts of the book are again very descriptive and none repetative and tick all the right boxes, this book was so captivating iv'e read it in a day and by no means does this mean its a small book its just a page turning not putting down book. The writer is extremely talent imaginative person and I cant wait to start the next book ... Melissa Bell I salute you.

Felan has fought for most of his life. First as a child in defending his mother's good name, later against bullying, and now with Five Brothers Security as a computer/technology/internet geru. Taking a night off for a little R & R at a local club, he catches sight of a female who he knows is meant to be his. His first problem is to find out who she is which won't be a problem with his specialized skills. The bigger concern is sharing his family's deeply guarded secret hoping she'll accept him and his unusual lifestyle as it's her destiny to be his mate.

Elizabeth Crane is persuaded to join her friends at a local club for a birthday celebration. It's all fun and giggles until she's hit on one too many times. Thinking to leave early claiming the onset of illness, she's about to find out that her life is to about to take unexpected turn that won't ever be the same.

New to me author and series (though this is the second installment in the series). Loved the premise and potential. This has the flavor of Lexie Blake's "Masters & Mercenaries" series but with a paranormal shapehifter slant. It can be read as a standalone.

Generally I appreciated and enjoyed the substance of this book including the core romance between the two central characters. The cast of secondary characters did add additional interest and a glimpse into the future installments to come. Totally on board with wanting to read Tate's book (next in series) as he is the dangerously dangerous brother of this family pack of shapeshifters and I'm a sucker for danger...

That being said I did had issues with multiple aspects of this book. If ever a book needed a content editor, this was one. The world building and disjointed details really took me out of the story. I repeatedly wanted closure in story line scenes only to find out they never came to be. Also, in world building, details and consistency are important to me. Reading a passage where a character is sleeping only to have another character open the door and the sleeping (?) character grabs them? What the what? So, while I loved the overall story, I just couldn't enjoy it as much as I wanted to. And I really really wanted to.

The adult content scenes were on the HAWT kinky side with a hint of D/s dynamics. Love those alpha men who call the shots on bratty rebellious women. I could wish for my own Felan (a computer geek with a build that would make him eligible to compete in a Mr. Universe competition) except that there are other brothers in the wings and I don't want to commit too early... TATE!!!!!

Overall, I'm going middle of the road in rating this book, mostly because of the glitches and story line inconsistencies. I'm hopeful for the future of this series and can't wait for Tate.

A great follow on from Houston, this book grabbed my attention from the outset and held it throughout. I loved that Felan is a very different character from his brothers, but with his own strengths that just really added to his appeal.

A great love story with some really steamy scenes that just keep you in grossed and wanting more. The twists and turns kept me trying to figure out the end before I got there, just what I want from a good book.

Great work from a fabulous writer. Well done again Melissa!

This book is Felan's story. I love that his past is told in this book. As the story goes, Felan will meet Elizabeth or Liz. The female who captured his interest. With the kidnapping of Liz and the murder of Cameron's ex-roomate, things will get more interesting. With Felan's specialty in computers, will they capture the culprit? Ms. Melissa nailed it!

First off I want to thank Melissa Bell for providing me with a copy of Felan to read in exchange for an honest review.

In this book we meet Felan. Hacker extraordinaire that he is is what keeps the boys of Five Brothers Security in check and on task. In this installment you get to see his past, where he came from and what made him the bad ass computer hacking alpha male he is.

When we get to present day in Australia, Felan has found his girl. The One. His soul, his heart, his everything, only thing is now he has to hope she'll survive the ordeal she went through. Being kidnapped, abused and scared for her own well being is not making Liz a very stable girl. Felan will have to convince her to stay with him and out of trouble. He has sat with her the entire tire she was in the hospital. Once she wakes he takes her home with him. And to say he has his hands full with this one is sayin’ something. She's a hot little firecracker waiting to pop off.

To say they hit it off and sparks fly is not doing it justice. Haha. They are ten shades of hot and a perfect match. Liz challenges Felan in ways he didn't used to. But with the search of a serial killer Felan is a bit distracted Liz decides it's time to run. Her past will now catch up with her, thanks to her face being all over the news since the kidnapping. Using a trip to the mall to get things she needs as a way to get away... she gives Tate the slip. Since he's not a fan of playing babysitter he is not a happy camper. But with some quick thinking, Felan's use of computers they track her down just in time. Liz has started her track to changing and is in heat. (Laughs) Poor girl.

Once she is settled a new threat comes up. Go figure, right? Liz has to help the boys and Cameron bring down the serial killer. But what they find beside the killer they were after is that Liz's past has finally caught up to her. Thing is her 'uncles' don't expect her to have back up. And her growls back up isn't going to put up with their crap.

Needless to say I loved Felan's book and now I'm itching for Tate's book. And running to it now!

REVIEW

This is the 2nd book in the Five Brothers Series
Felan's story.

Felan was a tall and lanky kid growing up and in high school he got into many fights due to what his mothers’ job description was. Felan had never met any of his mother’s family due them disowning her.
Venom is Felan's father he was part of a band that played at a tavern that his mother worked at and when Val let his publicist know about being pregnant she never heard from anyone again.
Felan was bullied daily by Johnny the grandson of a man who hates Felan's mom.

Felan always loved working with computers and thanks to his mother he was given the best of schooling.
Felan learned a lot on his 21st birthday.
He also learned he has brothers and one Houston was trying to get in touch with him.

What Felan learns shocks him to know end. Did his mother know?
Houston fills Felan in on everything and why what is happening to him came to be.

I like how the story begins with Felan as a young boy and takes us
into adulthood that allows a lot of getting to know the character. The book could use a little more editing in some spots but aside from that it was a nice read and I enjoyed to getting to know Felan.

I was gifted a copy of this book for my honest review

Absolutely LOVED this book. This series just keeps getting better and better the more I learn about this family. There's plenty of suspense to keep you reading as well as a passionate love story thrown in. This author is amazing. This isn't the first book I've read by this author and it definitely won't be the last either. Everyone needs to read her books.

I was given this book by SN Reviewers for a review and my honest opinion.

Felan is a computer geek who can do pretty much anything on a computer so that ended up being his "job" for the brothers. He met Elizabeth Crane and instantly knew she was "MINE". These two are very strong characters in this book. The story line kept in pace with the plot the whole way through the book. You will see Houston and his mate throughout this book also. I absolutely love how the author kept them going in the second book. I am also giving this book a 5 star rating not only because it was great and easy to read but because she incorporated the characters from the first book. That's always a nice thing to see when you go straight into the next book because you still have "book hangover" from the previous book. Another great job Melissa!! Can't wait for the 3rd brother!!

I was given this for my honest review, the two main characters have had their fair share of heart ache and sadness growing up but together they are so good, when things start by Elizabeth being kidnapped after Felan meeting her for the first time and realising that she may be his mate. It's his race to find her and keep her safe only to be drawn into more murder and Elizabeth's past comes back to get her, the humour is there as they are both wanting to be the boss, they compliment each other so well, the steamy hot scenes are brilliant, the twists keep you in suspense, you are really brought into their family and everything about them is given to you from the start, I am loving Melissa's writing and these just keep getting better

Sexy, brainy, and a tech genius, Felan couldn't be more perfect. In counterpoint, Liz is strong, brave, and intelligent. They're perfect together.
After being kidnapped and saved from human trafficking in book 1, Liz now finds herself in the path of a serial killer, as well a cult group she's spent years running from. Good grief, Liz needs some seriously good luck just to work up to a bad week...
The whole awesome gang is part of this story; all five brothers and now Cameron. The few snippets of Cameron and Houston were adorable, and the rest of the brothers are just as funny and wonderful as they were in book one. I can't wait to read Tate's book to find out the kind of woman it will take to match him.

I started anticipating Felan's story halfway through Houston's story and wasn't disappointed. I loved how you get the whole story so you know exactly what and where he's coming from; also allowing you to be able to read it as a standalone.

Felan is a big, strong, hot and sexy shifter, but he is also a shy, introverted computer geek. When he first sees Liz, she makes his blood sing and his inner wolf howl. He will do anything to find her and make her his!

Liz's whole life has been disastrous and dangerous, but she's strong, smart and a survivor. All she's ever wanted was love and a family. But when she gets a shot at it, can she risk them to be happy?

Felan the second book in this series by Melissa Bell is brilliant.

The story flows on from Houston's story and brings some new twists & turns in the case.

Felan is a sweet guy, computer mad but by no means a Geek.

Elizabeth his Bella is a strong women who is hunted by her past and feels the need to keep running.

This story is full of drama, suspense and is steamy.

Onto Tate's story now

Another great read!

This is my second book I've ready by author Melissa Bell. Keep up the good work! I love stories about shape shifters and this one was very unique. Five brothers cursed by a dead beat dad that tried to change to late in life. His one good deed was bringing all his offspring together to explain what they were up against.

This is a more of a 3.5*
I don't know, something is missing. The story does not seem complete, the couples are not that well formed. It is very rushed.
And although those things bothered me, this was still a pretty nice read. Something low on drama and angst, fluffy, easy and fast.
