A Promise to Return
Sierra Hall is caught in a tangled web.
Knowing the man she loves is innocent, Sierra is desperate to return to Chad but James won't let go. When she learns that James was the mastermind behind her brother's death, she is suddenly a prisoner in the enemy's camp. Defying James and her father, she breaks away and flees to the Shadow Souls with hopes of absolving Chad.

Now that the Shadow Souls have Chad, they intend to make him pay for his betrayal, but not before using him as bait to get to long-time enemy, James Northrop.
