I enjoyed this book very much. I loved how the end of the book was written and how it turned out for Mavis. I also loved the character Sam. This book was very touching as Mavis was dealing with the grief of her late husband but also starting to like Sam.
I was given this book to read and give an honest review. This review is my honest opinion and I have fully read this book.

This third instalment of Jennifer Kohout's Avernus Island series is another thrilling read.
Mavis Bell, rock star! After having lost her husband Kyle she finds solace in the bottle of vodka, losing herself in depression, alcohol and drugs. Not wanting the publicity of going into rehab Mavis ends up a guest of Avernus Island where she meets Sam a somewhat temporary guest/employee on the island. Having no recollection of his past he decides to stay and is given the job of looking after Mavis Bell.... Who is Sam and is there a connection between the two? I'll leave that for the reader to discover!!
The author really knows how to build the story and keep it fast paced for a intriguing, thrilling and steamy read.
An erotic paranormal short story that continues the tales of this mysterious island... Looking forward to reading more from this amazing author...

I was given this book in exchange for my honest review. I am a nut for romance novels but they have to keep my attention. I could not stop reading these books.
