On the mob 3: The Cuppacio Twins
The Cuppacio twins have done everything but what they came to Jagoda Bay to get married and join the Rinaldi Mafia. With old and new enemies lurking and creating chaos, Renello, Metavello, their family, and their associates are now on a mission to ensure everyone remains fearful of what the Cuppacio, Rinaldi, and Mecanio Mafia are capable of. Them Cuppacio Men!!!
Though lies can damage a lot of things but learning the truth can set you free. Things happen for a reason. Moving off emotions can be a good thing or a bad thing. When all is said and done, LOVE wins. Let’s chat!!
Now this review can go on for a long time I’m going to try to sum it up as short and sweet as I can 🤭. Let’s discuss these twins Metavello & Renello. One thing for show they were different in their own why but the same of makes sense🫣. Though they may be different and don’t agree with how each may move sometimes, but you can’t tell either one about the other. It’s a TWIN thang - IYKYK🤭!
Through this series a lot of truth was revealed. From Nel finding out the truth about Pia and the love he has for her🥰. After the truth was revealed it was all gas no breaks when it came to Pia. The this man leveling her up was everything. I mean everything🥹. Not only did he step up for her but for her son Renello aka Neltz, sister Pearla and her mom Patty. Though there were rough times, nothing stopped this man for getting the only woman he loved and played no games about 🥰. When this man was willing to let it all go just so he can have her had me basing eyes to stop them tears. The way this man loved this woman. The patients he showed🥹. Not only was he stepping for her and about her, ya boy was doing the same for his Jr. After getting him straight and stepping when tragedy struck their relationship grew to become something amazing😍. Cause that trifling father Hobo wasn’t it. He was a thorn in my side the entire time🤨. This man was the weakest link and annoyed me to the extreme. Oh but I know that payback going to be real. There is so much to mention about Nel and them but know overall the outcome was the best🤭🥰. Oh and the proposal, EVERYTHING 🥰!
As for Vello, he was my favorite twin 🤭. Though he was the most emotional one, when he put his mind to it, ya boy not letting up. This was proven the moment he met Discover 🤭. A run in at Walmart changed it all. From day one ya boy took claim. What did it for me was him knowing she was married and not caring🤣. The pressure he applied every time he seen her was funny cause for a person who said hehe wouldn’t fall and was in love with strippers🤣. Yeah Discover had him sing another tune. Listen, ya boy was willing to go against the table behind her and didn’t care. So you know if he rocking, Nel for sure rooking as he had his own issue with the table🫣. Not only did the table have him pressed but learning who her daughter Discovery daddy was had him spent but that didn’t stop nothing. We all know how then Cuppacio men were🤭. Honestly the baby daddy did too. Oh but when all was said and done, him winning at the was it for me🥰. Again there’s so much to say but this would never end.
Then them kids Discovery, Neltz and Peala. Listen they all of the hook. Discovery and Neltz are kids who think they of age🤣. They are wise beyond their age. They both told it how it is but know how far they can go. Well at least Discovery does too a certain but Neltz, yeah there were a few times he needed BTA🤣. Pearla on the other had showed that she had daddy issues as time went on. Just like Pia hers and Nektz life was upgraded. Her appreciation for it was tier. However learning her truth was everything but of all people Matteo 🤣. I won’t say much about him except, ya boy was the one out of everyone know but once truth was revealed, it was definitely all gas no breaks 🤭. Truly hope there’s a spin off with these kids.
So I’m going to end it here even though there’s so much more to say about this part of the series🫣. A lot happened within the Cuppacio family and there were a lot of secrets between the Rinaldi & them that left me speechless. Oh and Patty! Once she started talking again everything was laid out to dry and Rio is different now 🫣. Listen Mrs. Lisa Austin has had me in CH and I don’t know when I’m coming out but know a time is being had. She definitely has gained a new reader. Now I’m headed over to Shio book and the way I’ve been ready to get into it. He has been my interest since he his name has been mentioned🥰.

More Of The Same
I stopped reading another book once I noticed this one had been released because I had to find out what happened next after the cliffhanger in the last book. Honestly though, while this was entertaining- I could have waited on this one and kept reading what I was reading. It was essentially more of the same shenanigans that were laughable but the story STILL hasn't really progress beyond a few months and none of these characters made any new major moves or did anything noteable except Nel and Pia.
There were a few twists with an unexpected unaliving that pulled at the hot pants heart strings, an unexpected family tie for Matteo and a new character that spoke parking lot life into Pearla, but just about everything else that happened, was already done - just slightly different, in a previous Jogoda Bay book.
Also, while I love me some prim, propper and super smart Discovery, Neltz is still such a disturbing character to me and I really wish the author had made him older because although this is fiction, nothing about these antics coming from a 9-10 year old CHILD is cute- AT ALL.
Overall, this book was more of the same, but the final word indicates that there is much more coming from this crew, so I guess time will tell how much these characters will really develop. After all these Jogoda Bay books though, we should be at least 3-5 years into these characters' lives, not just 6mo - 1 yr later. It's time to move this along!

Get Ready For a Wild Ride!!
I was in a slump and Lisa pulled me out with her catalog. This series takes you through all the emotions. I was laughing so hard! I really like Lisa’s writing style & character development and that it didn’t feel rushed. You fall in love with all the characters! Really loved Nel & Pia’s relationship and how they progressed. Glad she got in line. Nel was a rider from the start! Missy was my girl!! She deserves her good thing. Even though he had 3 kids, Essex was definitely the one for her! The missions with the boys had me dying. The banter and bickering was hilarious, especially with Matteo in the mix. The Grind situation blew me. Pearl better take that lady’s advice and boss up!! Loved the outcome of Neltz and that fake mission. He deserves what’s left of his childhood. I can see him being a mini Demise when he gets older. Can’t wait for his revenge. Hobo really was a bum dude. Only took off a star for the exaggerated context of the Chicago slang. At times, it felt like the author was trying a little too hard to prove familiarity with the culture. As someone that is from there, I appreciated the effort to capture the city’s voice—but the use of local slang and dialect felt a bit overdone. We get it, LOL. Overall, I’m excited for the continuation of this series and am LOCKED IN!

You Do It Everytime
First I would like to say thank you for already telling us we getting our other books i cannot wait lol. This book was well worth the wait everything was so written so well and I see how you causally snuck in shio having a sibling in there and never mentioned it again I cannot wait to really see his personality I have a feeling his brother gone be neltz lil enemy lol. I'm so happy that Pia stopped fighting Nel of he absolutely worships the ground she walks on and she definitely deserved to experience that love he is her soul mate. Now Discover had me cussing her out like girl you know you want that man stop giving him such a hard time and let him love on you girl lol. I definitely wasn't expecting that outcome for Grind and Pearla I really hope they find their way back to each other when he is all healed up and better again. I can't wait for the girls book they are hilarious even the young cuppacio clan. Keep doing your thing with these books we love your work

The writing, storyline, and the character traits was INCREDIBLE

This story was truly astonishing! I love all the characters downnnn! There’s story was definitely well written, which I don’t expect anything less from Lisa Austin. The scenes were intricately crafted and placed in the book well. I found myself constantly laughing throughout the book. Also, can we talk about how accurate the Chicago lingo is? My husband is from Chicago and I was able to understand all the lingo that was placed in the story.
I’m trying not to give any spoilers 🫣, but just know if you made it this far with the Cuppacio Twins, you will be so happy how everything turns out in this book!

Even though there was no cliffhanger in this book, there were a lot of loose ends that I need answered ASAP!

Chefs kiss. Definitely a top read for me so far. The way I laughed like no tomorrow and cried at the end just made me not want this book to end. I love Renello even more I’m so happy him and Pia got there happily ever after. Now I need to know if Patty and Rio will get married because I knew they were head over heels for each other. I love Essex and Missy down I’m glad my girl found love because despite her choice in career that didn’t mean she didn’t deserve love. Neltz ass is crazy still lol. And lastly I can’t wait for Shio books Lisa your pen is impeccable sis

Nel and Vello
Lisa you have done it again! A fitting end to the twins story. If I could give you a 100 stars I would! The twins matured over the 3 books about their story, they made mistakes, had trials and tribulations but mostly they grew into the men Don Demise was trying to make them be all along! They loved hard and fought for the love of their lives and in the end true love conquers all! A great read! I can’t wait to read about Shio!

I MISSED MY FAVES!
Lisa Austin literally NEVER misses with our mob babies! Pearla had me crying and sliding down walls 😭 my heartttt. I hope she listens to Grind’s mama and we see them link back up after she’s a psychiatrist (spin-off👀). Pia and Renello finally got their happily ever after and ugh I love it for them. I would love to see Vello propose! I’m very very VERYYY excited for Shio’s book! 🥰

Great read. I would have like for Rio and Discover have a small ending conversation because they both have their true loves. I love Rio he done forgot all about that life he was living since Patty done reappeared. I love that for him. This story was so real and a little emotional. I love all of the characters and Matteo is my dude. They said them kids was bad I loved the bad in them. Them chirren was funny.
Great read. I would have like for Rio and Discover have a small ending conversation because they both have their true loves. I love Rio he done forgot all about that life he was living since Patty done reappeared. I love that for him. This story was so real and a little emotional. I love all of the characters and Matteo is my dude. They said them kids was bad I loved the bad in them. Them chirren was funny.

I'm happy with how this book wrapped up. Spoiler alert... the shooter baby daddy needed to be gone permanently. Them keeping him until lil Dennis the Menance is 18 is crazy work. I wanted to take off half a star for that. However, that "should do/would do" advise from Grind's mother to Pearla and the love and care of Missy's old lady neighbor....BEAUTIFUL. 🥹 Literal chef's kiss. Can't wait for the next set of books.

This book, was full of ups and downs. Laughs until I had tears running down my face. Lisa does her thing when it comes to this book stuff. But this one was one of my favorites almost topped “December”.

Friend Don’t Miss EVER!!!!
First let’s talk about the 484 pages in this book, I love a nice thick book 😂 But anyway I loved this book it was extremely good a great ending to the twins story. Up next is Shio’s book and I’m super excited to read his story, he’s such a mystery to me. I love the whole series and I can’t wait for what’s to come I know it’s gonna be straight 🔥🔥🔥

The most lovable mobsters ever!
When I tell you we all stalk Ms Lisa waiting for updates on her Mob books. I love how so many of the characters are linked onto other books. The best part is they NEVER get played out or old. I'm so looking forward to the next installment of the mob family....especially the younger generation!!

always a wild ride but a good vibe
I truly enjoyed this book. Not only do i enjoy the bantering throughout on the mob series but i love a good family bonding and story where the men fall in love and will go against the grain behind the entire world behind their woman and family. Job well done again Lisa!!!

This was another banger. I'm glad everyone is getting what they are fighting for. Neltz is my Lil baby and I can't wait til he turns 18 lol. So in love with this series
This series is the best damn series yet. I love me some Lisa Austin, and just like her other books, she did not disappoint. I can't wait to see who Shio ends up with and read about Pearla and Grind. I sure hope she stayed in contact with Shus. I'm so excited for more to come!

I enjoyed the whole series them Cuppacio twins they are too funny I love them. I was so glad to see Hobo & Detective Davis get exactly what they deserved. I was happy when Viv got them paws put on her they was put on her so bad she abandoned her sons lol.
