Bianca is a vampire princess and it's time that she gets married. Bianca isn't crazy about the idea because she'd have to choose between her two lovers, Aspen and Dorian. These two know about each other and are okay with the arrangement, so it's not cheating. Bianca is very torn because she knows there has to be a choice and that because if that choice people will be hurt. After a tryst with each of them, she comes up with a plan.
This was an okay read for me. It was erotica straight up. No real romance here and that's okay because it doesn't advertise itself as that. I did enjoy that there was an aristocracy in their world and even though each man was in it, they held different levels because of old or new money. The bedding ceremony was a throwback to historical times as well and still just as creepy. If you like paranormal erotica with a dash of BDSM and ménage, enjoy.

Then there's Dorian. Dark, edgy, and rough, he takes what he wants. And Bianca gets off on it.
Bianca wants to have them both for different reasons. Cara Cane shows us the steamiest of those reasons in fantastically explicit detail. Dorian of course is my favorite because I love my bad boys. There's blood (they're vampires, so this is a matter of course), bondage, face pounding, exhibitions, voyeurism, and more.
Naturally, the answer to Bianca's dilemma is steamy.
Highly recommended if you like a good two-finger one-hand read with an interesting backstory. Looking forward to more of Cara Cane's sexy vamps!

This is pure naughty vampire smut! Definitely erotica, but not entirely devoid of plot. This novella is great for satisfying the occasional craving for menage goodness with a side of PNR. The vampire veneer makes otherwise uncomfortable fetishes palatable and intriguing. However, even for a novella, this ended kind of abruptly. The climactic (heh) scene felt a bit rushed as showing devolved a bit into telling towards the end. And I was truly bummed not to find out how . Overcoming jealousy is usually a big part of MFM menage, and I missed that here.

Bianca caught my attention from the first few pages. I wanted to know more about her story and her relationship with Aspen and Dorian. Two lovers on opposite sides of the spectrum. It is the eve of Bianca's wedding ceremony and she must make a choice.
Does she stay with the gentle lover or the lover that takes without asking?
This is my first read from Cara and I cannot wait to see what book two in the Sanguine Erotica has to offer. In Vampire Princess Bride, we are given a story of a woman torn between two men who have held her heart for as long as she can remember. We are given a look into her struggle to pick one man. I also liked that we are given a look into the emotions that Aspen and Dorian are feeling.

This is my first read from Cara and I cannot wait to see what book two in the Sanguine Erotica has to offer. I received a free copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review. This is my own opinion.
What do you do when you have to choose between the two loves of your life? This is the dilemma Bianca faces. There is kind Aspen, and strong alpha male Dorian. Both she loves, for they are so different how could she ever pick one. But now she's 25 she must choose. Only one can join her, the future queen, for all of eternity. She must give up one forever....but does she?
This super short erotica is packed full of hardcore sex - it is not for the faint of heart.
This is a barely a story, but more a couple of chapters of sex. And while I liked Dorian, I can't say I liked any of the other characters, in particular spoilt selfish Bianca.
Plus I didn't think there was much in the way of actual chemistry.
Both these things I attribute to it's actual length being too short to involve either a chemistry or character formation, and not necessarily to the authors writing which was good.
The story is still pretty hot, just not what it could've been. I think there is potential for a great little story here if it was made longer with more input from the characters as to provide a connection to the reader and to make it an actual story.
The world itself that this author created is dark and hot; I would love to read an extended novel about it (I think this author has the potential to write a really steamy adult paranormal novel which would go down a treat).

It's tough being a royal vampire princess. You have to choose. Do you choose the sweet, endearing good boy Aspen with which to spend your many and numerous years or do you go for the bad boy, who offers delicious dark sex with spankings galore. It's a tough decision.
Loved the steamy sex scenes and the musings of Bianca who was torn between the two Prince's. Loved the beautiful imagery... the rose petals in the bath... oh yes! Especially loved bad boy prince Dorian - but then I would ;) Thoroughly enjoyed the read.
