Book 2 much better then book 1, in writing style and plot advancement, and characters.
Love Meadow, love Carmen's redemption arc. We need a book on Meadow and Ceasar's origin love story. Another book on Leyanne the witch. Maybe a prequel of Varro and Alora's moms romance.
I had a tough time witht he beginning of Book 1 but eventually we got the payoff.
