When society collapses in a storm of screams and blood, seventeen-year-old Lana doesn’t freeze—she fights. Scarred by a past she rarely speaks of and thrust into a nightmare no one could’ve predicted, Lana must navigate a landscape where survival means more than just staying alive—it means finding something worth living for.
Alongside Jake, a fiercely loyal survivor with a sharp wit, and Hadley, a resilient young girl with more courage than most adults, Lana carves a path through chaos. From abandoned trailer parks, an apocalyptic mall, traffic-jammed highways littered with the dead, to forgotten summer camps and watery wreckages, every step forward is a gamble.
But in a world infected by monsters—both the living and the undead—there’s no such thing as safe. And when a military helicopter crashes into the lake near their temporary refuge, everything changes.
With tension escalating and hope flickering like a dying candle, Lana has to make impossible choices, forge fragile alliances, and confront the ghosts of her past… all while the world crumbles around her.
Fast-paced, emotional, and laced with unexpected humor, Zombie Lana’s Story is a post-apocalyptic thriller that will grip your heart, twist your gut, and leave you breathless for the next chapter.
Perfect for fans of Dawn of the Dead,I am Legend, and The Last of Us, this is a gritty, emotional, and terrifying journey through the fall of civilization — told through the eyes of a teenage girl who refuses to give up, no matter what hell rises around her.
First the negative. I read this on my phone and the format was off throughout the book. The story kept up a good pace and started out with the zombies attacking. So no waste/build up for the action. If there is another book I would like to see more development of the characters.
The story had so much more potential than what it ended up being. Lots of random POV from irrelevant characters, ending felt rushed. Character development was not existent. Solid start but wouldn’t recommend.
