Librarian Tatum Jayce moved to Little River for a fresh start, but her curiosity about a local legend leads her straight into danger. Lost in the woods, she’s rescued by Grey, a quiet and brooding man who seems as wild and untamed as the forest itself.
Stallion shifter Grey can’t deny his growing feelings for Tatum, but he can't tell her the truth about his stallion until he's won her heart. When the stallion trying to take over the herd goes after Tatum, Grey will have to do everything in his power to keep his precious soulmate safe.
When her life is on the line, can he save her or will he lose the very thing he cherishes the most?
This is the second installment in the Little River Stallions series, and I couldn’t wait to dive in! The story pulled me in right away, engaging, adventurous, and full of emotion. R.E. Butler has such a talent for delivering heartfelt romance with just the right mix of danger and Happily Ever, after. I was never once bored.
Tatum and Grey’s introduction was beautifully done. I loved the way their backgrounds unfolded, giving them depth while making their growing connection feel so natural. The shifter element added an extra layer of excitement, and watching them come together kept me hooked from beginning to end.
Overall, this book not only met my expectations but exceeded them. I’m already looking forward to what comes next in this series and to reading more of R.E. Butler’s work! #NewRelease #BookReview #ParanormalRomance #ShifterRomance #HEA #RomanceReaders #MustRead #Bookish #BookTok #Bookstagram #PNRCommunity #LittleRiverStallions #REButler
This is the second book in the Little River Stallions - but actually the third book with them including Khyle (We’re Zoo #15). Tatum has fled a bad life from her ex and a bad father and want’s to start over in the small town library - and get lost during one of her first days. Grey comes to the rescue. I love the pull they have to each other and the connection they have - and later in the story it will save the day again. The Little River is a very small but tight knit herd and they must stand together through a lot with their continued enemy that want to take over their land - they will use all means and doesn’t care who gets hurt to achieve their goal of taking over.
Tatum is after my own heart working in a library! Moved to town for a fresh start in life after a bad relationship. Ends up meeting Grey and he shows her that he’s truly interested in her and her hobbies and interests.
The stallions are still dealing with Zaras crazy ex alpha who wants to push them out of their land and take over and won’t stop hounding them.
Very little spice compared to other stories (which is fine, that isn’t a dig). I’m excited to see the other stallions on the farm find their mates in the stories to come!
Good continuation to this series. Blends well with the Zoo series. Always makes me smile when we see people from that series
I love how someone who has had a bad upbringing meets their soulmate and makes all their precious suffering worth the love they feel. I am excited to read Avi's story after reading the Zoo's last book. Quite a cross over!
Tatum and Grey give us the next chapter in the Little River Stallions books. I loved that Tatum was strong enough to start her life over. Grey is ecstatic to find his soul mate. Keeping her safe from the bad guys is work. He and his herd are more than capable. I loved that the book ends with so much hope for a beautiful future for all of them. Highly recommended author and series
