Lampshades as platter stands! Why not? Lampshades remind me of formal party gowns with their skirt-like shapes. Many are narrow at the “waist”, then fan out like a gown, creating a perfect display for a New Year’s Eve or Christmas buffet, or an Oscar party. The parade of ‘gowns’ is worthy of the Red Carpet! This collection of lampshades comes from discount stores, thrift shops, as well as from old lamps I had in the garage.
