Its giving stockholm. Why didn’t she go with fucking Gianna and Coilins or whatever his name was. That asshole rapes her, abuses her, BURNS her, switches her fucking birth control but in the end he apologises and BOOM everything is forgotten!! HOW?? The fact that he literally didn’t care abt his kid just bc she was a girl says enough.

I saw this one quote on tiktok and thought that it was gonna be a good book. THANK GOD I didn’t buy the actual book and just read it online. That quote was so misleading smh.

I hope that Gustavio or whatever his name was never fucking walks again. I hated him. He deserved it. I despised Val. Elaine was pretty annoying tbh. Stefano went a little crazy at the end. And Gianna, she was alr ig. Loved the fact that her nails were red.

I also predicted the end. Love that for myself. The moment that Val said that Elaina couldn’t go with them, i knew. I just knew what was gonna happen. AND IT DID HAPPEN.

In conclusion i fucking hated this book. Don’t read this if you care about yourself ( even if you don’t care abt yourself like me, still don’t read it trust me )

What I have learned is to always check the reviews before reading! DO NOT LET TIKTOK FOOL YOU! Literally none of the quotes from the Tiktok I watched that convinced me to read this book took place! This book is poorly written and down right vile. SAVE YOURSELVES!

I haven’t read this yet but reading the reviews makes me not want to. I just saw the short film based on it, I enjoyed that but it seems completely different then what I’m reading from the reviews. 😳

This book couldn’t be titled any better! This one wasn’t your typical mafia man falling for your princess. This one was DARK, and it had a TON OF TRIGGER WARNINGS. At least the author didn’t go into graphic detail about certain things.

Book 1 is mainly about how twisted Valentino is and how Elaina has to endure his cruelty, Book 2&3 focuses on Val’s and Elaina’s son Lucas, and how he is like his father but is able to find love. The story is still SUPER TWISTED and Val still plays a MEAN role in everything.

This was definitely a darker mafia series than i intended, but dang it was good!!!

The story was interesting even if a little too predictable. However, my low rating is because of the narrator of the audiobook version which I accessed on Galatea. She switched from using the male voice to simply not changing her voice at all when performing male dialogue. But the most disappointing thing was the pronunciation of Italian words, for which no attempt whatsoever was made to sound even remotely accurate. It was grating and cringeworthy.
