OMG this is the fastest I have read one of these books. I could not put it down and was reading at work. Loved this book and OMGeeeeee the twists and turns…. Ahhhhhh loved it!!

Between cliffhangers, flashbacks to the past, the spice, the fight scenes?!?!?!? Another great read from A.L Hampton . It will absolutely consume you until you finish it and then even more.

Dark Desires (Crown of Seven Realms book 5) is pure chaos wrapped in spice, danger, emotional destruction, and “just one more chapter” lies I told myself at 2 AM.
By book 5, the realm-hopping in this series feels less like an adventure and more like a full-blown survival hazard. A.L. Hampton has built this sprawling supernatural world where angels, vampires, and deadly magic collide across realms that somehow keep getting darker, more dangerous, and more chaotic with every installment. At this point in the series, traveling between worlds carries this constant feeling of dread because you know peace is never waiting on the other side — only new enemies, fresh trauma, political disaster, and emotionally unstable supernatural beings making catastrophic decisions while looking unfairly attractive. And honestly? I eat it up every single time.
The second this story starts moving, it NEVER slows down. One moment, there’s tension so thick you could choke on it, the next, there’s danger exploding from every direction, and then suddenly, you’re getting hit with emotional damage while trying to recover from the spice.
Now, if you made it to book 5, you should know what to expect in the spice department, and you think you know what's coming, but um, yeah, I think the author was like, "I can turn it up a notch or two."
As with any series that is not complete and has had other cliffhangers, you think you're ready, you think, " Oh, this time it will end calmly, " and we can bask in the knowledge we have right now, but there's one problem still out there dangling from this story, so yes, a cliffhanger was delivered.
Now I’m left emotionally unstable, desperate for answers, and fully prepared to throw myself into the next book immediately despite knowing this series clearly wants to hurt me.

I absolutely devoured this book. I went right back into this world that this author has created, almost like I never left. This is a dark fantasy romance, with an amazing main character and a great storyline! I would reccomend it. This whole series has been a wild ride and absolutely amazing! Can't wait for the next book.

Wow! Just when you think this series can’t get any better, AL Hampton does it again. I was here for ride and this roller coaster did not disappoint. The banter, drama and trauma kept me on the edge of my seat. The bonds were truly tested in Dark Desires and I cannot wait to read how this epic series ends!

Well hello, WILDFIRE!!!
Do you ever get tired of a book series being amazing and pining—no, not pining... YEARNING—for the release of the next installment, just to have it be lackluster? Well, this is not that!
I have never rooted for characters harder than I have for these ones. They live and breathe as if I am witnessing and experiencing every main and side quest alongside them. A.L. writes as if these characters are real people and she is a court stenographer, documenting word for word their joy, suffering, sorrow, triumphs, and darkest desires!
With each new book, every character grows—not meaninglessly, but harmoniously with this amazing story. I had the privilege of meeting A.L. at her book launch for *Dark Desires*, and she said that she "rolled all her favorite tropes into one," and that's how she got *The Crown of the Seven Realms* series. She wasn't wrong. This series has something for everyone, with just the right amount of banter, action, and lust to leave you on your hands and knees begging for more!
She was such a joy to meet and talk to. I told her she had to stop leaving these books on—in her words—"clam-clenching cliffhangers!" She just laughed and looked at me with a sinister smirk and what I can only now describe as pity! I don't know if my heart can recover from this ending, and dare I say it, it is the most gut-wrenching ending yet!
You will laugh with Lucian, be stoic with Eric, find redemption with Adrian, and stand in glorious, furious righteousness alongside Dani and Rhyland.
Give this series a chance, because at some point, some bigwig publishing company or Hollywood executive is going to discover it, and it's going to become a mega-blockbuster!

I was completely hooked watching everything unravel—betrayals, impossible choices, and that constant tension of “what is going to happen next?!”

Once again, I have spent to much time reading and not enough time adulting! Am I mad? Nah! This book was amazing. I have been on this train ride since book one, and I can say this is my favorite so far, I love how she builds the characters they are so complex but yet, you feel like you have personally known them, she shows their personalities, their quirks, their anger, and so much more. Every book gets you deeper and deeper onto this rollercoaster, that leaves you exhilarated and wanting more. I have been invested in Dani since the beginning, I find myself rooting for her and Rhylands relationship, to outlast all of this. If you have not read the other books, what are you waiting for? Get started because if you are craving true emotion, growth, anger, and ROMANCE it is asll here in one place! Her books emcompass so much without feeling bulky, everything that is written brings something to her story. You wont regret reading!

As is with the past 4 books in this series the author has hit it out of the park once again.
The amount of times I gasped and said wtf was astonishing.
I know ive said it before about her writing but ill say it again, I dont think ive ever read anyone's work that writes banter as good as she does. I was reading excerpts to my hubby in the truck and he was dieing with laughter right along with me at our favorite immortal sass pot Lucien.
This book will suck you in, chew you up and spit you out in the best worst way possible.
Im so addicted to this series its not funny, seriously is some of the best writing and story line ive ever read. Right up there with my favorite seasoned authors Jennifer L Armentrout and Stacy Marie Brown.
I wont give away any spoilers but if you enjoy romantacy with alot of ass kicking bad ass women and hunky viking vampires with powers you have to read this series

This book was absolutely perfect, once again. It was a big one and took me a while to get through, but every page was worth it. I love that neither the story nor the characters ever start to feel repetitive or boring. The sass, sarcasm, and banter continue to be some of my favourite parts of the series.
I swear, if Adrian betrays them one more time... But I'm also so happy he found his mate. This book was packed with revelations, and I loved every second of uncovering more of this incredibly intricate story. We got pregnancy, phoenixes, dragons, fire lions, more prophecy details, and so many answers. The revelation about Lilith and the devil had me staring at the page in shock.
And that ending... wow. There was finally a father-daughter reunio, but then the ending with Dani after? Absolutely not. These cliffhangers are going to be the death of me, I swear. I need to know how Brax is doing.

This is book 5 of the series and I can’t say enough good things about this book. It just keeps getting better and better and better. By book 3 I was thinking there no way A.L. could top this. Book 4 came out and was blown away. Then thought the same thing about book 4. Then this beast drops and was just jaw dropped. This one takes place in the fire realm of Pyrothos A.K.A hell. We get a new antagonist along with some new realm creatures. I’m not gonna disclose what they are, but I can tell you they are everything this book. Betrayal, heart break, twist and turns and another cliff hanger that has you staring at the page with your mouth wide open. New characters come to life and the original characters get even more addition to the lore. This book is a 10/10 easy. Must read

There is not enough stars for this book. I literally have withdrawals of Dani and Rhyland! Here we are in the fire realm/hell. These two go through some intense things! There's also dark and light, psychotic witches, sand demons, and my personal favorite.... shadows. New character's are introduced. Ember's truth will have your eyes wide open. Through it all, Lucian and Emily provide the humor. Lots of surprises are in store for Dani!!! You're going to want to put all your other books aside for this one!

Well now for the juicy stuff 😁 I've been a loyal reader of these books from pg one of book one so when I tell you this one was the best by far it's not an over exaggeration. It really is!
This book is long but I couldn't put it down. I devoured it in 3 days. Per A.L.s MO there is so many twists and turns it'll make a pretzel blush and keep you on your toestill the last page.
This book is a Spicy Book Dragon wet dream and it make you wanting more!

Dani's mate bond was broken, and she still had work that needed to be done. But, how do you force yourself to continue when your entire sould feels like it just exploded?
I've laughed, cried, and talked to myself out loud. I questioned why everything keeps happening to Dani, but I know this isn't the end.
This book, and series, has everything. Action, romance, raw emotions, twists and turns, and many "what??" moments. Still speechless.
Give the book a read, it's so good. If you haven't read the first four books, definitely start at the beginning!

I have been with this series since the beginning and there has been so much growth throughout this series. I have laughed and cried and kicked my feet, this book is one of my favorites now. A.L. Hampton knows how to keep her readers hooked for sure and I was blessed to be able to read her series. Every time I think this series can’t get any better than the last book, I’m proven wrong. This was yet, another devour worthy read. Seeing the growth in the characters has been amazing. And still, the works building holds strong, wondrous as ever. I’m loving the twists and turns. The romance and steam. The description pulls me in every time. It’s so vivid, I felt that throne of flames. The heat, the fear, it just keeps going. The emotions from the characters. Those steamy moments. I’m on the edge of my seat every time, and I’m always looking forward to these stories.

Wow!! This is one of those books that just pulls you in and keeps your attention. So full of twist and turns and action packed. This author is so wonderful at building an immersive world. I think it's my new favorite of the series. I'm in love with the characters and the beautiful chapter art.

Never get tired of the worlds she creates! I fell in love by chapter 5 of book 1. The world building is immersive and changes each book so you don’t get bored. The characters are all different but feel very raw and have growth. There’s great action, different povs. Beautiful chapter art, LOTS of spice, and as the story progresses you see bigger pictures while jumping between realms. In looove can’t wait for the next book!

Just when I think you can't add any more amazing things to this series, you give us dragons in the fiery realm of Pyrothos, aka Hell, and have Dani giving sarcasm and unapologetic sass to Lucifer.
These books are chunky beasts, but I devour every moment and they are getting so intense and action packed.
I loved the addition of Ember, the surprising new romance, and the shocking revelations that come out and flip the prophecy.
There are hard hitting emotions from Rhyland's absence, the devastation of Dani trying to save her man and tackle the old and new villains, and the whole gang navigating a new and dangerous realm where the stakes are even higher.
I loved the elements of redemption, second chances, vulnerability and empowerment.
I am beyond invested in these characters, and the balance of chaos, possessiveness, spicy romance, and rage was perfection.
I know the cliffhangers are coming but they still hit me so hard. Feral for the next book, and hoping my favourite characters survive!
