A bit dated (especially the chapter on the Polar Seas), but still pretty cool and confirms that over forty years after it was published, we still know devastatingly little about deep ocean life. More horrifying, what we do know we have made little effort to preserve and explore further.
I bit dated, but still a good book. The chapters are told in first person perspective, which is annoying for a nonfiction book. The photographs are great, however, and make the book well worth it.
