Summary (from Goodreads):

But is this romance meant to be, or has the right guy been in front of her all along? What I Liked:

What a fantastic conclusion to this series! You all know I'm not a huge fan of YA contemporary, but I took a chance with this series, and ended up really enjoying all three books. These books were so drama-filled, which is definitely something I usually don't like, but somehow, Madow made all the drama and shenanigans worth reading. I rarely accept reviews for blog tours, but I had a good feeling that I would enjoy this book - and I did!

Peyton, Courtney, and Savannah are still getting used to life as a Diamond, living with their father in the rich Diamond life. Courtney and Brett are still secretly together behind their parents' back (Courtney's father is marrying Brett's mother, remember?). Peyton (the oldest) doesn't want to go to college after graduating from Goodman, but the time to decide what to do after high school is coming up for her. Meanwhile, Savannah's singing career has taken off since her YouTube start, and she gets an agent, collaborations with another YouTube star... and a possible thing with Perry Myles, dreamy singer of One Connection. Life couldn't be better, right? But Madison Lockheart is finally ready to tell the Diamond sisters her secret - a secret that could ruin everything, just a short time away from Adrian and Rebecca's wedding.

There is so much drama in this book, this series, which I'm marking as a "like". Usually I HATE all the drama, and I avoid books about poor-to-rich, no-one-to-celebrity types of books (I find them frivolous). This series is all of those things, but so enjoyable. The rich life of a Diamond does not skimp on the drama.

Savannah is my least favorite of the sisters. She's the youngest, the most innocent, but she's also the most selfish, in my opinion. She's the deceptive type of selfish, in which she thinks she's really sweet and nice, but she's actually selfish. Sorry, chica. She wasn't my favorite, but I think her plot dominated. It was interesting, seeing her navigate the minefield that is fame. She made a mess of things with two boys in the previous books - what will happy with the famous Perry Myles?

Courtney is my favorite, probably because she reminds me so much of myself. SHE is sweet, a nurturer, and definitely the most mature of the three of them (despite Peyton being the oldest). She gets Peyton to apply to college, and she's constantly worried about her grades, as well as her secret relationship with Brett. The two of them are such a great couple, and I loved seeing them grow together.

Peyton is one of my favorite characters. During this book, she seems like a changed character. Jackson is no longer in her life, and he has taken a new job elsewhere. Peyton hasn't been partying and hooking up with guys since he left. She's set on not going to college after graduating but... she starts to consider other options. Yet she's still the tenacious, spunky, brash girl that we know and love. I love her attitude - someone has to be able to tell people how it is!

Madison - eh, I don't care for her. But she is a HUGE part of this book (justifiably so), and I felt a little less hostile towards her in this book. She got a better ending than she deserved, though I'm glad she ended up with who she ended up with. I'm glad she suffered and felt a ton of guilt over what she did in the first two books - what a b****.

Despite me not liking those two girls, do you see how unique each girl is, how different their stories are? I LOVE how well Madow characterizes each character, even the secondary characters. The four male love interests definitely started to blend together, but they had their differences and quirks. I love how the girls paired off with their respective guys, though Brett and Courtney have been and are my favorite couple.

This book ends very happily, very satisfyingly. Everyone gets a good ending, and everyone "gets the guy" (or "gets the girl", however you want to look at it). So while there might be a ton of drama in this book, there this book has a lovely HEA.

What I Did Not Like:

Like I said above, I didn't like Savannah, or Madison (but I never liked Madison). Of course, no one has to like anyone, but those two were not my favorite people. If I knew them in real life, I would hate them, and I wouldn't give them so many second and third chances (ahem, Madison). The big secret with Madison actually made me mad, and I didn't like how nicely everyone welcomed the secret. I'd still hate her!

Anyway, this book was fine, despite these things, believe it or not!

Would I Recommend It:

For fans of YA contemporary, sure, I'd recommend the series! Not for people who hate the catty, petty, drama-type contemporary though. It was not as bad as Gossip Girl or 90210, I can safely say that. There are so many great, positive female friendships and relationships in this novel, but there are also plenty of negative ones. This is a fantastic series, but definitely not for anyone and everyone.

Rating:

3.5 stars -> rounded up to 4 stars. I'm looking forward to reading Madow's next book! So happy to have had the chance to read these three.

2 out of 5 stars (Please read my rating system further below). I don't know what's up. Maybe what's up is that I finished the second book so long ago? When I began reading this book, I was very confused on why the book was starting off where it was. It made sense, but the start of Diamonds are Forever was not a smooth transition from the ending of the second book, Diamonds in the Rough. It felt abrupt, just like the rest of the book. Believe me, I've said this before. I love reading books like this. They're so easy and fun to read. Perfect for getting you out of a reading slump! However, the easiness of this book was a bit too much for me. How come all of a sudden all of the characters are admitting their love for each other at the exact same time??? Why??? (just kidding, one couple was consistent the entire time but that's not my point). My point is, is that this book was very rushed to get to the end. The happily ever after. I wish that there would have been more gradual end tying instead of just ending everything. You feel? YOU FEEL??? But still, this was like the easiest read ever. Again :D

My rating system: (I do use half stars.)
5 - I do not use the 5 star. Not because a book might not be worthy, but because a book is never perfect.
4 - I loved it! There weren't too many flaws, and I had no trouble getting through it. (A 4 star rating is the highest rating I've ever given a book.)
3 - I enjoyed the book, but there we're flaws that made me enjoy it less.
2 - I finished the book, but there were too many flaws for me to enjoy it.
1 - I could not finish the book, and I probably did not finish it....

I'm sad to have to say goodbye to the Diamond Sisters. This conclusion to the trilogy did not meet my expectations, but as always the setting and characters came to life through Madow's writing. The ending felt rushed and tied up a bit too perfectly and somewhat unrealistically. Overall 3/5 stars; still one of my favorite series though!

Such a great ending to such a fun series!

Review soon!I received this book from the publisher and for this blog tour in exchange for an honest review. All my thoughts are honest and not altered by this.

I have been following the Secret Diamond Sisters Trilogy since it came out and knowing that this book was the end of it was so weird. I really loved this books and it really wrapped up and ending the trilogy nicely (with a potential spin off?). This whole trilogy has really been filled with twists and turns and secrets but also a lot of fun. I also really loved the character development and journey the three sisters take throughout this trilogy. The one tiny thing that brought down my rating half a stay was the dialogue got really stiff at times. Other than that, for anyone who hasn't read The Secret Diamond Sisters Trilogy and really enjoys chick lits, definitely check this one out!

If you didn't know, I had some problems with Savannah and Peyton in the past two Secret Diamond Sisters books. They just bug me sometimes. I think in this book, I got really annoyed at Peyton more than Savannah but you know what I really love about this plot line and story? By the end of the book I wasn't annoyed with their guts and left this series with a positive opinion of them. Leaving this book on a positive note was something I really hoped would happen and I got just that!

We get a taste of all the characters we have read in the past, you know. Madison, Oliver, Damien, Brett, those kids. What really surprised me also was the fact that I got to see Nick in this book and I do really want to know what happens to him in the future. Diamonds are Forever really did show new sides to Madison, Oliver, Damien, Brett and of course, the Diamond Sisters. They all had to take on challenges that they have never dealt with and that really contributed to the growth within all the characters. Within the year that this trilogy took place, all their lives have been so affected by their arrival to Vegas and that is definitely the sisters included.

The plot to this book was what intrigued me the most. I mean based on the synopsis, I could just sense the amount of drama that would happen in this book. Based on what I read in Diamonds in the Rough, I was excited to see what would happen to all the secrets when they were revealed. When these secrets go on for awhile, it does get annoying. Along with all these secrets being revealed, I loved how all the major characters got a somewhat happy ending. It was definitely something I hoped would happen. These girls have been through so much so the least I expected as a good ending and Michelle delivered! Diamonds Are Forever was a glamorous book to end of a glamorous trilogy.

I gave this book 4.5 stars because I loved this great ending to the trilogy but the dialogue did get awkward and stuff at some points.

After the cliff-hanger ending from Diamonds in the Rough, I couldn’t wait to read Diamonds are Forever! The series is just so fun and filled with explosive secrets - I love what Michelle Madow has done with it.

Whereas book 1 and book 2 were filled with some pretty shocking revelations, book 3 wraps everything up. The cliff hanger we ended on is resolved (and in a way that makes certain people’s actions a bit more forgivable) and we see some family issues resolved.

Now that all of the secrets are out, the girls need to learn how to be a family again. A different type of family that is definitely bigger than they anticipated. It’s not an easy transition, but we do see a ton of character growth from the first novel, so prepare to love the characters you never thought you would.

Diamonds are Forever is very character-driven, and it feels less Gossip Girl-esque than the prior two novels. Instead of adding more fuel to the drama, we calm down and wrap up all of the situations that developed in book 1 and 2. If you loved the first two books, you’ll enjoy seeing how everything works out for the Diamond sisters.

Minor SPOILERS from the previous novels are present, I'm warning you. I'm so sad to see this series go because it... it just hurt me fully. As always, I was captivated and I couldn't stop thinking about the beauty of this story even after it was all over, which is the real power that Michelle Madow's writing does. I'm in love with this book, honestly, and this whole series. It's so, so sad to see Savannah, Madison, Peyton and Courtney all go off into their world of drama, rivalry and dreams being followed without me actually being there to monitor and keep all of the little cute moments stuck in my heart, y'know? Diamonds Are Forever really signifies the fact that the Diamond sisters will be stuck with us forever. They are a gorgeous group of characters, that's for sure.

Diamonds Are Forever immediately follows where the sequel left us off at. Oliver is still in the hospital, getting over his horrible injuries and Madison is freaking out. This time around, we're again introduced into her perspective and get to hear how she reacts with the news about her and the Diamond Sisters. And each of the sisters are dealing with their own issues, and things are deepening. Courtney is thinking about Britney and her decisions for the future with Brett, while Peyton is struggling to not think about college, since she isn't thinking about going into that field. And Savannah? Her YouTube singing career is hitting the charts, with lots of hate associated as well.

The romance and struggles of deciding what to do in life is real. Love and all of those issues that teenagers have to deal with are found here, and it literally teared me apart. Savannah was with Damien/Perry, Courtney and Brett, Peyton and Jackson. They were all pretty cute, and the romances that once were set together were formed again, whether we liked them or not, but I do kind of wish that there weren't so many of these flings happening for the sake of realism. Hmmph. But my favourite ship is the Brett/Courtney clan. At least I could relate to them the most and their ways of looking at high school.

As always, with Michelle's writing, you'll find that it'll be so easy to fall in love with the characters. There's something in every Diamond sister or side character that you'll be able to relate to and adore. AND THE FEELS ARE REAL.

There just isn't something that you cannot enjoy and want to devour about this book. If you loved the first one, Madow's storytelling will just enchant you for the third time again.

Diamonds Are Forever is beautiful and engaging. The ending was just amazing and perfect, slowly getting readers afraid for what is yet to come because there's no more. I wish I could read a hundred of these books about all of these characters and not get bored at all. This is something remarkable and fabulous, and I hope that you go for this, because no regrets will arise.

MICHELLE MADOW did it again! A super conclusion to another astonishing series. Ever since that cliffhanger in DIAMONDS IN THE ROUGH I have been wondering what’s going to happen next. Most of all I was curious about Oliver, wondering if he was going to be okay and how Madison was handling all this. Most of all I was curious if secret that Madison was their sister would come out and who would be the one to tell them. At start I wasn’t fond of Madison and Oliver but as book progressed, it got hard for me not to like the characters, if anybody changed through the series, it was two of them. I was rooting for Oliver make it through, and I was rooting for Madison and Oliver to get together, there was a real connection between those two and not just a friendship. I just wished that she would tell Oliver how she feels and I have feeling that if her and Savannah didn’t talk, she wouldn’t have. You couldn’t help but wonder what will happen with everyone, even as you come to the end of the book.

Diamond Sisters: You can see a big change in all of the sisters since the beginning of the series. The three of them weren’t just sisters but in process also became best of friends. No matter what was going on in their life, what secrets they had discovered, in the end they were always there for each other. In a way they remind me a lot of some of my friends, who is like a sister to me. I felt that I could relate to them in a way. I didn’t think that they would be able to accept Madison as their half-sister, especially Peyton but Peyton surprised. I know that how she treated them is a reason that they hesitated to but I am glad that they gave her chance. I think it because they saw how she changed since finding out that they were their sisters. It was hard for even me to dislike her and I hoped that the diamond sisters would see it as well. Most of all I was glad for all Diamond sisters to get their happily after, especially with everything that they had deal with, they deserved it.

I loved how family oriented this book was. It didn’t just deal with romance but friendship, family, acceptance, forgiveness with a bit mystery added into mix. Plus it takes place in Vegas where I had always wanted to go. After reading the series, I’m craving to go there even more. DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER was a book that I couldn’t put down till I reached the end because I wanted to see how everything would end. However once I reached the end, I was sad because to me it felt like I was saying goodbye to my friends. Through the series I felt like I got to know each of characters so well, that they became real to me. There wasn’t a single book, a single page that I didn’t enjoy. I have been reading Michelle’s books since we became friends back in 2012 and I can tell that this author going go a long way. A book that is worth every single page. I can’t wait to read Michelle’s next adventure.

I was super excited to get a copy of this book from Michelle because, in the past, I had managed to ARCs of the first two books when they were available for reviewers. I knew that if I didn't get a paperback copy of Diamonds Are Forever that I was gonna be super bummed because my series wouldn't be complete. Unlike the other two, however, this copy of the book that I'm reviewing is not an ARC because they weren't available this time around.
As soon as I got the book in the mail I dove straight into it. The series so far had been great and I had no doubts that I was going to love this one. If you have never read The Secret Diamond Sisters, then I definitely recommend that you do, especially if you're fans of books like Gossip Girl. In many ways this series reminds me of Gossip Girl, yet instead of the Upper East Side of Manhattan, we're cruising the glittery streets of Las Vegas. But trust me, there's so much drama in these girls' lives that it could rival those of New York socialites.

The Secret Diamond Sisters are hotel heiresses and pretty new to the Las Vegas scene. They found out that their father was Adrien Diamond, rich and powerful owner of the Diamond Hotel and ever since then, there's lives have been turned upside down. In Diamonds In The Rough the girls start their first year at Goodman School and soon begin making friends (and enemies). They befriend international popstars, get tangled in forbidden love affairs and begin making a name for themselves. They even learn that they really don't know as much about their own lives as they thought.

All of this comes to a head in the amazing third book in the series, Diamonds Are Forever. The author managed to perfectly wrap everything up into a really great story and it was fun to see how things turned out.

I think there was more drama in this book than in the first two books combined but it definitely worked for the story. We got to see the characters grow so much and learn so much about who they are as individuals as well as a family. It was nice to see them mature and begin to understand the roles they played and how to live the fabulous life that they had been given.

I really loved how the book, and the series, ended. It was perfectly fitting to the rest of the story and I couldn't have pictured it any other way.

I definitely recommend this series and the only bad thing I can say about it that there aren't anymore books to read. :)

I received an ARC copy of Diamonds are Forever from author Michelle Madow in exchange for an honest review. I was so excited about this because I'm a huge fan of The Secret Diamond Sisters series and couldn't believe that Michelle selected our blog as one of the exclusive twenty blogs that would receive ARC copies of the book before its publication!!

I've said this before in my reviews for the first two books in the trilogy - this book is like a reality TV show in the best way. Not in the crappy, "oh my god what is this" sort of way, but in the "oh my goodness I can't tear my eyes away from this book because the drama is just too addicting" kind of way. This book gave me a serious case of "One More Chapter Syndrome" and I was able to finish it in less time than it normally takes me to read lately because I brought this book with me everywhere! I couldn't stand not knowing what was going to happen next so I just brought it with me to school and work and everywhere so I could read every spare minute I had.

All in all, however, I really enjoyed Diamonds are Forever. I'm super sad to see this series go because I was getting super attached to all of the Diamond sisters (Mads included!) and loved all of their stories and the drama of their daily lives. It was incredible to step into their shoes and live the life that so many people can only dream of having, myself included. And watching the times when these girls didn't appreciate that made me a little sad, because I know that there are so many people in the world that want what the Diamond sisters had, and they weren't always grateful for it.

Like I said, I'm super sad to see this series go, but I will definitely be reading more work from Michelle Madow in the future - especially if it's anything like this! I never thought I would be so enamored by The Secret Diamond Sisters, but here we are, and I'm about to cry because the final book in the trilogy is over and I don't know what I'm going to go do with myself.

Probably cry and pick up another book and wish I had a Blamex.

To see full review click here,

I was sort of on the fence about finishing this trilogy. The first two books were pretty bad, but I gave them some slack as a guilty pleasure.

But I couldn’t stomach seventy pages after this one.

Side note, this was my second DNF of the day (I read two books on Sunday and hated both of them). I blame it on reading a really awesome book earlier this weekend, after you read something awesome it’s very easy to get annoyed at minority bad books, but the Diamond Trilogy isn’t just your average book.

It sucks pretty hard.

I’ve been through a lot of the problems with the book already and it’s just really frustrating to me that Madow is so consistently bad with her writing. I would hope by this book that there would be some development with these characters, but they still annoy me in every aspect.

But nope, flat as ever.

Savannah really annoyed me to the point I wanted to deck her. Though to be fair, she’s not really to blame. Every character in the book is basically a cliche. And I’ve been through this explanation already, so I’m not going to go through it anymore.

I was able to handle the bad characterizations. The ludicrous soap opera plots, BUT what I could not handle was a Disney movie lecture from a character who hasn’t been seen this installment. And a character we’re forced to sympathize and like because she’s the designated soon to be dead character.

I hate characters who are created for purposes like that.

It really annoys me.

Especially when the character that’s lectured hasn’t done anything wrong. Because hello, I wouldn’t talk to said people either if they were keeping that big of secret for me.

I always hate the guilt someone into forgiving troop it is fucking annoying and forces people not to deal with their feelings properly. And it’s an automatic I’m going to throw the book at the wall move on the author’s part.

It happened here.

So nope, I’m not going to find out how these four nincompoops end up. And quite honestly, I really don’t give a shit what happens to them.

Good conclusion to the story.

Though in many ways not as dramatic as the first to books it ended well enough to give us an idea of the direction of the characters lives.

Also - personally - I really wanted to like Peyton throughout the entire series but she is just so annoying. Doesn't at all act like an older sister - as she's never actually there for them, she goes into pointless rages, throws herself at guys for no good reason and her stubbornness is stubborn for stubborn's sake. Oyvey she was exhausting to read. You don't sympathise with her at all and again it's a shame that all of that was just her personality and not an underlying issue that needed to be overcome.

Okay rant over. Overally decent series that was a throwback for me.

I’m actually really sad that this series is over. I loved reading about this world that was unlike anything I’ve experienced myself. My imagination made everything come to life and it was great. Loved this happy ending.

SPOILER SECTION
Although this is such a nice ending I would have loved for this story to continue. Like seeing Savannah, Peyton and Madison have their first time with their boyfriends and Courtney and Brett getting married or something 😄 I also would’ve loved to see Donna finding a decent man and be really happy!

Diamonds are Forever is a great ending for the Diamond sisters story. I loved seeing how the girls have changed and grown. Now finally settling into their new lives. Plus the Vegas setting and trip to Aspen is a great setting for the drama.

So Peyton is such a lost soul. Sometimes I get really irritated with her and sometimes I really feel for her. One of my friends actually did a gap year where she spent that time in Japan. She’s a doctor now so it was obviously a good thing for her. I like that she really starts to consider her options more seriously. It’s just took a little nudge from a special source. Peyton is odd girl out in the romance department since Jackson has left town. (for GH) With Jackson gone and that causing her lack of interest in guys. Peyton has to find a way to make herself happy which makes her a better person for a relationship.

When I was reading about Savannah and Damien I was thinking about the first book and how much their relationship has changed. Savannah is not perfect and I remember not liking her in the beginning. She still has this innocence about her but it’s more like it’s her armor. To believe in the best of everything. Make the most of situations. She’s not as naive as she is open. She is almost the best person in the series because of her unconditional way of living.

Courtney is kind of navigating not having to carry the weight of the world on her shoulders. She is still mourning her loss and dealing with how to respond to her mother and grandmother after they kept such a huge secret. Her secret relationship with Brett is a big deal to her since she is not a rule breaker. Plus her relationship with him is something that is special, precious and new for her. They are so cute together and I liked seeing Courtney allowing herself happiness.

Madison is definitely really different. She really wants to be close with the Diamond girls but also realizes she damaged that relationship. She is putting herself out there way more than she did before and trying. Same goes with Oliver, she realizes after almost losing him how important he is. In true Madison style she is not going to take no for an answer and takes charge of her fate.

I’ve really enjoyed this series. It has the great setting of Vegas, which was really fun to read about. I like having so many different perspectives so that you could root for one girl while being annoyed at another. Then the next day you might flip flop, kind of like having them as actual siblings. I liked how things end up wrapped at the end. This is an ending we have been working for through the whole series and it’s not just something that pops out of nowhere. We’ve really seen these girls change and figure out how to fit into their new lives but I also really liked how saw their relationships change. I would have to say that’s my favorite part.

So if you are looking for a fun drama filled contemporary. This is definitely a great one. I could see this being an awesome TV show.

Characters: This is what I enjoyed about Diamonds are Forever. The characters are to die for! You get insight on almost every main character’s life and get to see how they are feeling about things. I loved the multiple POVs.

I read some praise for one of the books in the Diamond sisters trilogy somewhere saying that you are bound to connect with one of the girls, and that is absolutely true. Courtney is me. I am Courtney. It was amazing to see how similar we were. It was really weird. I saw Peyton as my older sister. They are so much alike except for the style which is me, it’s not funny.

I really connected with Diamonds are Forever because it was like the girls were my sisters. They had such different personalities which Madow described very well. She really understands that the hardest thing in life is connecting with someone that is so different from you and the only reason you talk is because of family. Not a lot of writers get that which makes Diamonds are Forever such a fantastic book.

Plot: Tbh, non-adventure books bore me. That’s why I only occasionally review contemporary/romance books. I always run into the problem that nothing seems to happen. That’s kind of how I feel about Diamonds are Forever. Looking back, there was really no major plot line that stood out. I think it was written just as a progressive novel. Is that a thing? There wasn’t anything majorly exciting or climatic. It was like high school drama written over a period of time. Now that was realistic. All that crap that high school puts you through. It’s not exactly exciting…

Ending: Alright, the ending was a bit cliche. Everyone gets a happily ever after. I feel like that was a good ending for this story in particular, but it’s not real. Not everyone gets all of their wishes to come true. Not everyone falls in love at eighteen or sixteen. That was really the only part that I disliked. It talked about everyone’s one true love and stuff, but it’s unrealistic. If this were real life, none of them would probably be talking to each other. It would just be a distant memory of their first loves.

Overall: I did like this book. Madow’s writing style is pretty awesome and unique. I think I mentioned everything I didn’t like. I need to read the beginning of this series. It was a pretty cool book. Just imagine if this happened to you. That would be awesome.

I’ll probably read this book again. I liked it that much. And I want to read a lot of Madow’s other books. She’s a really good author, and she’s a really nice person.

One last thing, imagine how cool the last name Diamond would be haha

There’s plenty of drama and excitement for the Diamond sisters in this last installment. It was nice to see how much growth each of the girls went through, some more than others, and nice to see them get their HEAs. Courtney still shines as my favorite and the one I connect with the most. Peyton has her moments, but she kind of fell into the background a bit in this book. Savannah, I rolled my eyes so many times with that girl, even until the very end, I just didn’t really care for her. Through it all, though, Madow managed to hold my attention.

After the info bombs that happened in the last book and the accident, I was definitely wondering how the girls would react to everything and how they would move forward. For the most part, they took it all in a believable way for each of their personalities. Peyton simmered down and wasn’t as rebellious or outrageous as she was in the past, and even though I kind of missed that, I think it speaks for how much she’s matured. Courtney had it pretty rough with that crazy revelation and how she had to hide her true feelings. Not only did I sympathize for her in that aspect, I connected with her personality so much more than the other girls. She reminds me so much of myself and I respected her and her thought process. Like I said, it was really Savannah that drove me crazy. Even though she grew up somewhat, she still didn’t mature as much as I was hoping. Her personality did not appeal to me in the slightest and she just came off as weak and whiny most of the time. She’s a good person and I felt bad for a lot of what happened to her, but she’s so clueless, it’s hard to imagine these things not happening to someone like her. Yeah, I just didn’t like her.

In any case, the store itself has plenty of drama and the romance is there for each of the girls. I really enjoyed the scenes with Courtney and Brett. I really wish there was more of Peyton and Jackson though. It was a solid ending to the series. I will say that it’s definitely a “teen drama” kind of read with a bunch of socialites, exaggerated moments, and cheesy lines, but sometimes it’s nice to get lost in a no frills, thoughtless kind of read like that. I enjoyed this book and the series overall, that’s for sure.

I've been following this series since the very first book, The Secret Diamond Sisters. I was so excited, therefore, to be one of 20 people chosen to receive a promo copy of this final installment before its release! I'm pretty sure I did a happy dance. Since the very beginning, Michelle takes us on a fun, awesome, and riveting journey into a world of glitz and glam that most of us can only dream we were a part of! As I read along from Book 1 onward, I found myself wishing that I was a Diamond sister myself! It was so much fun to live vicariously through the girls - who doesn't want to learn that they have a long lost relative (in their case, a father) who's a billionaire?? Sign me up, please!

The awesome thing about the entire series is that there are so many, three-dimensional characters you can root for. No matter your personality, there's someone you're bound to connect to, and they all feel real. They start to become like friends of yours over the series! And of course, there are plenty of romances for you to root for as well. It's great to see the strong bond that the sisters have with each other, too. Though they have their differences as well as their difference in opinions (as siblings tend to do), you know that they love each other and would do anything for each other. I liked that it wasn't just a book about romances, but also about family relationships. It's also nice to see how each sister matures over the course of the series and grows more into themselves.

One thing I really enjoy about Michelle's writing is that it's so easy to follow along and you feel like you're right there in the scene with the characters. There were so many instances when she described something in such a unique way that it brought an awesome image to mind. In short, this an excellent conclusion to a fun series - one you're bound to love! :0)

I really enjoyed the first two books so I was eager to get my hands on the third. Thank the book gods for being able to do that because I really enjoyed this one. I've been reading more contemporary books and it turns out that I enjoy them more than I thought I did. I guess I really don't think about what genre a book is as long as it sounds interesting. I think for some people this might be considered a guilty pleasure especially if you aren't the intended audience for Young Adult. If it sounds good to me I'm going to read it regardless of who the intended audience is.

I can't believe this is the end of the Diamond Sisters. I really enjoyed seeing the girls coming together as sisters. My crazy theory got shattered. I guess I watch too many soaps but I had wondered if Madison was the dead twin. I've always been baffled by Adrian. He is so odd. Okay I get being worried about your kids when tragedy strikes like it did in this family but to just turn your back on your kids for years is just strange. I will confess that I wouldn't mind being in the type of situation the girls are in where they discover they are the daughters of a very rich man.

This book has the girls coming to terms with finding out about having not one but two sisters they had no clue about. Madison really changed for the better since she was a bitch in the first book. It was nice to see her interact with her newly discovered sisters. I do enjoy the multiple perspectives but at the same time I kinda want more that just focuses on one sister or maybe two. Novella please? I flew through this book almost as fast as I eat chocolate. I can't wait to read more by Michelle. I do hope to get to Transcendence before the end of the year.

Alas, this trilogy has come to an end. My predictions ended up being wrong for this book, as there aren't any more secrets buried in graves, and Peyton doesn't really flail around to get with any guy aside from hanging out with one in Aspen (his name is Zack BTW). But in the end, I still liked what this trilogy had to offer, and while the final entry doesn't really offer a lot of progression until halfway through (aside from the last secret reveal (technically second-to-last)), it still was a nice read once the spring break trip to Aspen got underway.

Despite it being a while since I picked up the second book, I can still easily tell how each of the girls has gone through her own development. and I can now say that I don't outright dislike any of them (though Savannah is my least favorite). It's always nice when opinions on characters change from when you first read about them, and I'm glad that happened here. Madison is a more tolerable person, and Peyton has finally learned to calm down and not take too many risks. Go them!

Again, while I do think this book would have benefited from more happening (aside from the drama), and having less repetition in some of the conversations that were present, it still wasn't a bad book. Overall, this trilogy is part of the more tasteful "rich pretty" literature that I've stumbled on, with good writing, nice characters, interesting secrets, and curiosity as to where it will go next. I'll definitely keep my eyes out for what Madow will write next.

8/26/15 (Before Reading)

Oh no Peyton! Don't screw up again!

Also, I'm pretty sure there might be another twist, and Michelle Madow's probably going to be like: "Bet you didn't see that coming."

In the final book of Michelle Madow’s Secret Diamond Sisters series, readers who have followed the series get the answers they’ve been waiting for. Those who have followed the Diamond sisters since the beginning see them grow and flourish as they embrace the changes their lives have taken in just one year.

While things haven’t always been easy for the sisters, their new luxurious life in Las Vegas with their wealthy father doesn’t necessarily take away the ups and downs. They’ve discovered several things they might never have discovered if their lives had taken a different path. Nothing can tear these sisters apart of long though. They fight, like siblings do, but they eventually find themselves right back where they belong and perhaps even embracing others whom they never thought otherwise.

The pace of the story was perfect and I was pleased with how Madow wrapped up this whirlwind of a series. The alternate POV chapters was once again another favorite aspect of the writing, as I love getting the story from all three sisters, and then some.
