College goals? In progress. Career dreams? Within reach. Falling for her boss as Alaska prepares for winter? A scorching hot mistake she refuses to regret.
Aurora thought she could handle it all—classes, a demanding corporate job, and a relationship she definitely shouldn’t be in with her effortlessly composed boss. As long as no one finds out, everything should be fine.
Except nothing ever stays that simple.
When an unexpected family revelation shakes her sense of identity, Aurora is forced to confront questions she’s avoided her whole life. Who counts as family? What does love really mean? And how much of herself is she willing to risk?
Caught between spreadsheets and syllabi, office rules and real feelings, Aurora leans on a found family of coworkers and a best friend who believes in her even when she doesn’t.
Growing up is messy. Love is riskier. And Aurora is running out of time to choose.
The odds are still good. The stakes? Higher than ever.

Loved the therapy session with Donna the Therapist. Great hook to the first page
I love the phrase 'Monday hits like a moose in mating season' It let's me get to know Alaska and such a great visual for a work day. Great chatty dialogue especially with best friend, Darius.
The tension for the medical outcome was unpredictable and tenderly handled
Because of the wittiness you think its a quick, fun, read, but Harmony Noble weaves the tough topics throughout and carries the reader along the emotional journey. This makes you think about issues long after you put the book down. Chosen family and found family is so well written. It's great to know how Aurora and Mary meet . Just a Little Fall Crush made me want to meet my current self as an 18 year old heading to university. What fun ARC review
As with all Harmony Noble books, the scenery is the main character and the rest are merely players. Aurora isn’t my favourite character. I just can’t warm to her. But the book was good and covered some more serious topics alongside the laugh out loud humor that HN’s books are really starting to shine with. Start with the first book in the series and enjoy the ride.
A great addition to the series! Aurora is her zany self and the other characters make the story even more interesting. There's a medical issue that Aurora's doctor wants to discuss with her that adds a realistic depth to the story and is written with great care and understanding. Some great family moments add to the charm!
2,5 The book I read was wilderness love, Aurora and Mary. It was a chill fast read, I liked it but since it’s so short I kinda don’t want to rate it higher. (Out of 5 for a normal book this one out of 4)
