I enjoy reading sci-fi, fantasy, and paranormal romance novels, so this book looked like a perfect fit, and I love giving new authors a shot. This book did not disappoint. I found it to be a very refreshingly unique read, and I devoured it pretty quickly because I had to see how things would turn out. Great debut novel by Mr. Bird!
