I was really looking forward to this conclusion, after the way book 1 ended. However, I was underwhelmed by this one.

I enjoyed Book 1 - and went right into Book 2! I hate the way it ended! I feel like I was left with many unanswered questions and the way that it ended with no note if there would be another book or not! But to leave it on “The end… and just the beginning…” and no note really pissed me off! 🤭🤣🤭🤣 Like seriously just say if it will be another book or not!

Definitely feel like the sister is the one that broke into the house because of her dramatics, and how money hungry she was! I feel like she’s going to eventually cross everyone if there is another book!

Interested to see what happens with Cruz and the best-friend! And I hope Avery gets her bestfriend out the hood! Or hopefully Cruz will do it! And whatever happened with her best-friend BD…did he just fall off the face of the earth?!?! And we need the breakdown of how he was stalking her!

Okay…I guess you can tell I have a lot to say but I had so much hope for this book and how things would work out! And I was looking forward to getting answers to my questions!

Decent Read

I was really looking forward to this second part but I must admit that I was disappointed. It seemed rushed and it somewhat predictable. Normally this isn't like this Author. She's one of my favorites and always put out five star reads. I'm not surprised when Cruz told Avery that Maasai was missing. She didn't believe it
She thought he ghosted her again or decided to marry Gianna hoe ass when that was the furthest thing from the truth. Maasai uncle Titus being a snake wasn't shocking. Hell that's probably why Maasai father stripped him from being apart of their business. Terrion being a snake wasn't shocking either. He knew Maasai didn't want to marry Gianna and didn't give a damn about the rule. Maasai mistake was going to Terrion house alone to tell him he was ending the fake ass engagement without letting anybody know he was going. Maasai ended up walking into a set-up. Cruz and Aw'sum had a feeling who was behind Maasai disappearance but didn't have proof until meeting was called and they're were able to put the piece's together. Maasai showing up half dead. Definitely had everybody antennas up. Now I know Maasai momma Eva was worried but asking about Titus and Gianna should've showed her something was off. Especially when Aw'sum spoke on it. Keyani children father irritated the hell out of me. He's also ignorant asf. Javon ass is basically stalking her worried about what she's doing when he have a whole fiancee. Acting a fool I'm front of the kid's, disrespecting her by calling her out of her name, going to Keyani job acting a damn fool. I was glad Cruz knocked his ass out but I don't think that's going to be the end of Javon and his drama.

Some how this was the end yet just the beginning. I hope there’s a part 3 or a spin off because there’s a few unanswered questions from who broke into Avery’s house to what’s up with Cruz & Keyani. I’m also wondering if Avery is open to building a relationship with her father seeing as he’s in business with her husband now.

Overall, I’m glad Avery & Maasai got a happy ending but a McCarter baby would be a nice. I really hope Cruz & Keyani get their own story, I want them to get together real bad. I also want to know more about Cruz family business how it’s not a conflict of interest w/ Maasai business.

Could have been better?

Is there a part 3??? And the "twist" towards the end none of his customers realized something was off if everytime they got a shipment it was stolen? This seemed rushed and didn't have passion behind it. No telling who broke into her house. We don't know where the two friends stand. And why was Cruz going so hard for another family when his was in the same business?? I think this one should be scrapped from KU and the universe and written again. Two stars because I love the author and maybe she had some stuff going on.

It Was Okay

Maasai claimed he was trained for that drug life but he made a lot of rookie mistakes. This book ended on a to be continued type of way with a lot of unanswered questions. Who broke in Avery’s house? Why would Avery want to move in a house that Maasai and Gianna was thinking about moving into when they were engaged? Is Avery pregnant? Did Cruz get his spot back from his uncle? What’s up with Gabriella and I think she’s the one who broke into Avery’s house. What’s up with Cruz and Keyani?

Loved it!

Wow Avery and Massai went through so much just to get to their HEA! So many snakes in their grass but they found love in the midst of all the turmoil. I still want to know who trashed the house and stole her mother's belongings and what will happen with Keyani and Cruz. What about the relationship between Avery and Armand. Hopefully there will be more J Dominique. I need there to be more!

could read

This was a good read. Messai was a true one. I’m still mad because the ending left with unanswered questions. I’m sure Gabriella was the one who broke in and got the checks. I want Cruz and key to get together so Javon can look even more stupid. I’m sure there will be a spinoff

So good

I loved this second book but I’m confused was this the end or are we getting more? I loved Maasai and Avery’s love story. I think her sister Gabriella was the one who did the break in. I hope we get more of Cruz and Keyani and the twins. Keyani baby daddy is a crazy psycho and a stalker he need to be put down.

Great Read

This was a great read, and I know it said "the end," but I feel there is more to come. I have a feeling that Gabriella stole their mother's jewelry. I really want to see Cruz and Keyani get together. Her baby daddy needs some straightening out that only Cruz can provide. 💟💟

Definitely worth the read 😍

I so enjoy this series. The author did a fabulous job. The story was interesting. Avery was funny and clueless. Maasai is madly in love with Avery. I do wish that Cruz and Keyani's story was explored a little more. It was my pleasure reading this series.

Fun and funny

I enjoyed this book. It was page turning and funny. I did not like the ending. Her ending is what made me give 3 stars. Issues were left hanging without a real conclusion or even an indicator of a book 3 or continuance with some of the other characters from this book.

🔥🔥🔥🔥😱😱😱😱

I knew you wouldn’t leave us hanging like that lol I think Gabrielle is the one who was or had something to do with the house being broken into that’s why she ran out the house the way she did I can’t wait to see what you have planned for us

Awwww

Besides for Avery being naive I loved this book! I would love a spin off or stand alone on Cruz and Keyani. The way I ran to read this when part 2 dropped was worth it. You didn’t disappoint as usual

Book 1 and book 2 were 🔥

The books were definitely page turner. I finished both of them in less then 2 days. The cliffhanger has me ready for another book. Massai and Avery went through a lot to get to their happy ending or beginning since I'm hoping for book 3!

Maasai and Avery are too freaking cute!! Ugh I love them! The character development is on point! I really love the slow burn of Cruz and Keyani! If they get the time they need, they could be unstoppable! Love this and can’t wait for more!

It was ok

The story was ok but it does not seems to be completed. What happened to Maagic & their mom. Did keyani & Cruz hook up? What happened between Cruz & his dad? Where is Gabriella? Did she ever meet Aj? Who broke into Averys house? So many unanswered questions.

Yesss

Maasai went hard for Avery! I loved it! From Miami to Chicago Sai chase was not to played with and Avery found that out. I am going to say this about Keyani, she missed out in a good man in Cruz. Awesome read
