Do Not Be Afraid: A Whimsical Urban Fantasy About a Stranded Angel, a Hellhound Puppy, and a Second Chance on Earth

Rate this book
Arabella was supposed to visit Earth, observe humans, and return to Heaven. Simple.

Until a giant three-headed beast swallowed her magical return orb... and transformed into a mischievous, fluffy puppy. 💀🐶

Now stranded, Arabella’s only lead is a quirky café called Heaven’s Espresso, run by people who seem to know far too much.

With no contact from Heaven, she’s forced to blend in, work a shift, and keep her chaotic hellhound from turning the city upside down. ☕⚙️

But the more she learns about humans—their beauty, flaws, and fire—the more she starts to wonder:

Was this accident part of a bigger plan? 🕯️

A magical, heartwarming urban fantasy about finding purpose in unexpected places, even if it comes with fur and teeth.

Do Not Be Afraid is not just a story. It’s a fever dream wrapped in latte art, dipped in cosmic chaos, and dusted with cinnamon trauma. It’s what happens when an angel discovers the messiness of being human and decides maybe—just maybe—it’s worth staying for. And Arabella? She’s awkward and divine and drowning in emotions she was not trained to process. Watching her stumble through jobs, leash laws, and human connection hit me like a breakup text at 2AM—confusing, raw, oddly beautiful.

There’s something painfully real about fantasy that doesn’t try to save the world but saves a single person instead. Arabella doesn’t slay dragons. She picks up dog poop, burns toast, and learns how to stay—how to want to stay. And don't even get me started on the hellhound. He’s equal parts demonic nightmare and golden retriever energy, and I would kill for him. Or at least share my fries.

This isn’t just a recommendation. It’s a soft command: read it. Let it wreck you. Let it comfort you. Let it whisper, “you belong,” even when everything else says you don’t.
