Bill Reynolds is a sports columnist for The Providence Journal and the author of several previous books, including Fall River Dreams and (with Rick Pitino) the #1 New York Times bestseller Success Is a Choice. He lives in Providence, Rhode Island."
I am pretty sure I read this when it came out but I don’t remember. My brother recently gave it to me and I knew it would be a quick read. Growing up in Syracuse, I look back fondly on The Big East. Interesting to read iand think about what has happened to the coaches, players and teams that were around back then. Sadly, football rules the college sports world (its why Syracuse left the conference) and instead of playing regional teams I get to watch Syracuse play teams like Clemson and Georgia Tech. Yawn.
Good book for a trip down memory lane if you are a college hoops fan or Big East fan.
I remember finding this book in a public library. It was one of the first books that I ever read about college basketball and made me fall in love with the sport. I decided to read through it again when I found it in Half-Priced Books. This time, it was not nearly as interesting, though it was nice to read profiles of different coaches and players whose career you already have seen unfold.
