This was my first read from this author and let me just say Ethan Radcliff knows how to burn up the pages. His work is sensual, erotic and beautiful. His story of Ricardo being the magician, was about a man that knew how to please a woman and doesn't every woman want a man that knows what they are doing in the bedroom. This was a sexy, erotic story of a man looking to make money, ended up falling into being an Escort; was very good at his job, and living the lifestyle. He was married, never being satisfied and thinking love wasn't out there, kept to his work. Until he met a client that triggered something inside him. Ended up finding something that he never thought possible love. I really enjoyed this short story. Its a must read for those that love the steam coming off the pages with every turn.

I was given this book for my honest review.
This was my first novel experience with Mr. Ethan Radcliff and I have to say it exceeded all my expectations. I'm a HUGE fan of his poetry and I witnessed how his poetic prowess passed into his novel writing.
I hate to admit this but I absolutely hated Ricardo from there very beginning. He's arrogant, cocky, and so sure that everyone wants him. He's the perfect male escort in every way. His clients are always satisfied. Ethan makes the reader believe Ricardo's a callous man in the way he approaches each client. Even as I hated this character I simply could not put this book down. Therein lies the true magic of The Magician.
Tory came in and made Ricardo start to think of his way of life differently. He started thinking about a future, possibly with her. He's not sure he can or even wants to settle down with anyone, but his experience with Tory has him thinking about his past, present and future. Ricardo continues on his path until a betrayal forces him into a difficult decision and he doesn't have any time to decide his own fate.
Ethan's writing style pulled me in and would not let go until the very end. I needed to know if Ricardo remained as heartless as he began this story. Could he change? Could he be redeemed in my eyes? Would I change my mind about this arrogant SOB? You'll just have to read it yourself and decide.
I'm very excited to read more of Ethan Radcliff's work and highly recommend him if you like erotic romance at all. His love scenes are very vivid and I could picture everything in my mind making the reading that much more...pleasurable. I loved this book as much as I hated it. I know I'll be reading it again in the future.

Ethan never seems to amaze us with his writing his sex scenes are HOT as hell and he can write a quick short book full of punch. We love his writing style there is no pissing around it’s straight to the point.
Ricardo Hanley was a male escort to the rich and famous he was Hot and sexy and knew how to please.
Ricardo doesn't get attached or feel very much for his clients until she comes along and changes things up….
Can he give up escorting and try and have a normal relationship or does he continue escorting??

It seems I'm actually one of the few people who didn't like this book as much as the other reviewers did.
Even being a short read, the whole story seemed just a bit rushed, forced, and 'over the top', emotionwise, even though the general idea for this book is interesting.
Ricardo, the main character in this story, is working as a high class male escort that apparently falls in love with its clients right after their first meeting. At least that's what it seemed to me. There wasn't any personal conversation or building a connection between the characters whatsoever, the author just got right to the point every time, instantly followed by the main chaaracter wanting to start a relationship with said client.
With just 10 or 20 more pages and a lot less side story, such as , this book could have been a lot better and would've gotten a better review from me.
Plus, the author's comma-placement in this book tends to be a bit confusing quite a few times.

I am a huge fan of this author’s works. Whether it be one of his stories or just a poem. You might look at the amount of pages and think it’s a very short read. It is in contrast to other books however that does not distract from the story line at all.
This is one hot and saucy read. And a different read. For starters, the main character Ricardo is a male escort. Now come on ladies, admit it. We have all been intrigued by that lifestyle. I mean, who wouldn't want a hot piece of eye candy on their arm?
The Magician is told from Ricardo’s POV. Basically Ricardo fell into the position by chance. But he sure excelled at it! And thus begins a journey on one hot and panty melting read. But it’s not all about Ricardo. The story takes a turn when Ricardo meets Angela.

Ricardo worked for a cable company during the day and needed more money. His wife suggested he become an escort. At first, that was all he did. However the longer he worked for the service, the more his boss expected more for him. She charged large amounts of money for his time. Soon, his marriage ended. He became known as the magician because of the magic he could perform. But after several years of escorting, he wants more.
I liked this book well enough. The first part was better than the last. You get a happy ending, but the scenario is pretty cheesy and took away from the rest of the story. The first half of the story takes you through several of Ricardo's clients and the time they spend together.

This was a great fast read. Ricardo found a job as an escort. Simple and basic then things change and so did his life till he met Tory but Tory didn't want him since she had other plans and Ricardo never let anyone else in until he met Angela. The 24 hours spent with her he felt things again but unsure. He was getting a few day off and got a call from Sherry to set up the next job but it was with her. Then all these secrets come out and blackmailing Angela doesn't sit well with Ricardo and he steps in to protect her. Great fast read. Loved it.

I absolutely loved this book! Ethan Radcliff's writing is out of this world! No matter if it is Ethan's books or poems he sucks you in and you are mesmerized! I am a huge fan and I am and will be reading anything Ethan writes! I couldn't put this book down until I was finished, it held me in a trance :) I stayed up well past my bedtime to finish and had a book hangover, but it was well worth every minute of it! Anything Ethan Radcliff does is a 5 star read! Well worth your time!

He lost his taste for this job and he met Angela who was desperately trying to get over a divorce. They bonded and become a couple. Ethan Radcliff has a vivid imagination and writes beautifully and awakens the senses. This book is much better than his first one. A five stars ratings well deserved!

Received a copy. Fast paced and super sexy! The Magician may just set the kindle on fire. Ricardo is a man with talent. He knows how to take care of his clients. Ricardo is a strong character that has a back story and it is nice to have the insight to what has made him into the man he has become. the life of a male escort is so intriguing and to be called the magician because of the wonderous mouth he has love it. as always Ethan has brought sexual to a great story. I think his boss needed to go to jail for filming him without permission for sure and I love how he found love in the arms of a normal person

Hot Hot Hot. If you want a quick, steamy read this is the book. This is the first book I have read by this author, and it definitely won't be my last. I loved how it was written in a very unique way telling different steamy and sexy stories. I couldn't put this book down until the very last page. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and look forward to more.

Interesting view from the escort's side of things. An escort who had a story and the story told of his thoughts, even some of his emotions. I expected it to include rough almost harsh love scenes and a look at life but that wasn't the way this story was written. And,the writing flowed well.

I am a big fan of Ethan's writing. I loved this short story so much. It is nice to read a good sexy story where the characters are not young, but have lived life and taken what was given them and made it better. I fell in love with Ricardo. The things he can do to a woman. WOW!!!

This was the first book I've read by this author. Not a bad story. Plenty of hot sex. I wouldn't say no to a male escort like him. I just found the ending kind of lost me a bit.
