The books that guaranteed Koontz’s place as my favourite author.
The Odd Thomas series is truly wonderful. It is filled with all of Koontz’s trademarks. The wonderful characters. The gripping storyline. The heartbreak. The wit. The philosophy. Everything you love about Koontz is brought together in this wonderful series as we follow Odd Thomas on his rather peculiar journey through life.
Whether you’re a Koontz fan or simply a fan of the supernatural, I suggest you give these books a read.
The character Odd Thomas is very lovable and it was easy to root for him to succeed throughout the book series. I also really enjoyed the humor of Odd along with his ingenuity. Even though there are sad parts in the series and you know generally the way the book is going to end due to various statements Odd says concerning the only way the books will be published, the series is well worth reading.
I'd seen the movie "Odd Thomas" and wanted more of Odd, so I was not disappointed to find that Koontz had written 7 books that I could buy from Amazon. Great series! I want to keep reading, when more books come out, I'm there!
I love this author's work, and this is my second reading of the series. The first time through, it was as each book was released. This time, I could binge, and believe me, this series is definitely binge-worthy!
I love the characters, especially Thomas, who is odd because he can see dead people. And, so much more. He is so likable, well lovable. But the writing style and plotting are simply outstanding.
Fabulous read from the first book through the last.
