For now, take a look around. Not bad right? Hm. Yes. It DOES seem a little dusty and shabby, doesn't it? Sort of like a hermitage where the hermit hasn't ventured out or mopped the floor planks or started the dishwasher for awhile. Maybe for years. I mean, I DO write in here, so you'll have to excuse the mess. Of course, I also emerge from time to time to release a book.
Like 'The Weapon'. Maybe you've read the one. No? That's the story of Vayud, a young boy from Amelekhem who loses his family in a terrible event in the desert and is hauled to the seedy city of Chert to be imprisoned and forced to fight as a gladiator.
Of course then there's 'The Dry Valley'. Surely that one...? No? Well, it's a tale of family and sacrifice and adventure but really the story of a normal middle school girl named Calliope whose grandfather just started not talking a year back. She and her grandmother now live in a house dark and heavy with silence. Then a monster appears who comes bearing a truth so startling it will change everything and everyone in Cali's life.
What about 'The Long Cold'? That one's quite a tale. Because, you know, in the bitterest of storms during the longest winter Odveig, steward gnome of Gronn Forest, has ever seen, an avalanche has raged over the faraway Gruthold valley where another gnome, Hundein, and a herd of reindeer have gone to seek shelter. Alone and far from the valley, Odveig must seek the help of animal and gnome alike, while battling the vicious cold, the ever-lurking mennesker and his own growing doubts to find Hundein and bring the herd to safety.
Do you notice all these titles start with 'The'? Is that weird? No? I don't know if it is, but I wanted to mention it so that YOU knew that I knew and that it didn't become a thing. You know.
Well, there's more to come, but right now I'm writing them so I can't tell you about them. So don't ask. In the meantime, for more information about me, my teaching and my books, please go to...
